Kristian-Joy Alfonso, who grew up in Brockton, Massachusetts, was an above-average student whose extra-curricular activities were divided between rigorous ice skating and dance classes. Kristian won the gold medal at the Junior Olympics in figure skating when she was 13-years old. The combination of innate athletic ability and a fierce competitive spirit made Kristian a natural to compete in the Olympics, but an unfortunate bobsledding accident ended both her skating and dancing careers. That tragedy quickly turned into an opportunity for Alfonso when Wilhelmina, the world-famous modeling agency, persuaded Kristian to enter the glamorous world of cover girls.

By the age of 15, Alfonso had graced the covers of 30 international magazines including Vogue and Bazaar. An NBC casting director saw Alfonso's picture in a magazine and cast her opposite Rock Hudson in the movie-of-the-week Starmaker. In 1984, Kristian joined the cast of Days of our Lives.

Kristian starred for two years as Pilar Ortega on Falcon Crest. One of Kristian's favorite roles was the cunning Hollywood madam, Lauren Etheridge, on the immensely popular Melrose Place. Kristian's portrayal of Hope Williams Brady on Days of our Lives earned her a Soap Opera Award for "Hottest Female Star" in 1999.

Alfonso currently makes her home in Los Angeles with her son Gino (from her first marriage to Simon Macauley, he is named after her father), her husband, Danny Daggenhurst, his son Spartan, and their son, Jack.

She celebrates her birthday on September 5th.

CLICK FOR CHARACTER BIO...

Soap Opera Update hails Days of our Lives star Alison Sweeney as one of the Sexiest People on Television, and the editors at Soap Opera Digest have recently nominated Sweeney as Outstanding Younger Lead Actress for the upcoming Soap Opera Awards (March 10/NBC-TV). Sweeney is a three-time-winner of The Soap Opera Award in the Outstanding Villainess category (1996, '98 and '99). She has graced the covers of all of the leading soap opera magazines a dozen times over and throughout her career has starred with such respected actresses as Dyan Cannon, Barbara Eden and Sally Kirkland.

On January 22, 1993, Sweeney joined the cast of the Emmy Award-winning, NBC-TV series Days of our Lives as Sami Brady-the devious, complex and often misunderstood daughter of Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). Since taking on the role, Sweeney has tackled storylines ranging from date rape to eating disorders, and she has been receiving praise from the media all along the way.

"Young Sweeney holds her own with the best of them on Day of our Lives, including powerhouse Deidre Hall," wrote Soap Opera Digest in an article naming Sweeney Performer of the Week.

Soap Opera Weekly most recently singled out Sweeney as Breakout Performer of the Year (1999) and praised her portrayal of Sami Brady as the stuff which Emmy nominations are made.

Born in Los Angeles, California on September 19, Sweeney has an older and younger brother; however, she is the only daughter of their concert and studio violinist mother and business investor father. At the age of six, Sweeney appeared on Days of our Lives for the first time in the role of Adrienne for two days of flashback sequences. As a child actress, Sweeney was also featured in numerous national television commercials for various products, including Kodak Film. Starring roles on Simon & Simon, Webster, St. Elsewhere, Family Man, Brand New Life, I Married Dora and Tales from the Darkside followed shortly thereafter. In Dyan Cannon's feature film The End of Innocence, Sweeney played the role of Stephanie (Dyan Cannon's character as a preteen), and she also starred as Alice in the film The Price of Life.

Away from the television and film studios, Sweeney leads an active life. She enjoys swing dancing, swimming, water & snow skiing, rollerblading, riding her gray thoroughbred horse, Apparition (nick-named Ghost), and sometimes just hanging out with her close friends. Sweeney also likes to read novels and write short stories. In fact, if she were not acting, writing would be a major career consideration along with directing.

An extensive traveler, Sweeney has developed an appreciation for various cultures and speaks fluent Spanish. When she has the opportunity to travel, her ideal destinations are Italy, France and anywhere she can find a ski slope. Sweeney was married not so long ago to longtime boyfriend Dave, who is a California Highway Patrol Officer, and they have one child, a son Benjamin born in early 2005.

MELISSA REEVES - Jennifer Horton Deveraux

CLICK FOR CHARACTER BIO...

After a five-year absence, Melissa Reeves triumphantly returns to Days of our Lives and the role of Jennifer Horton, one of daytime television's most beloved characters.

Born and raised in Eatontown, New Jersey, Melissa grew up in a close family environment, which included her father, Lawrence Brennan, her mother, Marion, and her older brother David. "My family always gave me a lot of encouragement to pursue a career in the performing arts," explains Melissa. "My dad is a disc jockey in New Jersey and growing up near New York City, a great cultural center, also didn't hurt."

Melissa initially dreamed of dancing professionally and commuted into New York City to study dance with Phil Black. "I took dancing very seriously," recalls Melissa. "Then I landed some commercials when I was fifteen and that gave me the acting bug."

Melissa studied theatre at the prestigious Lee Strasberg Institute in Manhattan and soon landed roles in the HBO movie Somewhere Tomorrow and the After School Special The Lakeside High Experiment. Her first foray into daytime television was on NBC's Another World. Landing the role of Jade Perkins on Santa Barbara was Melissa's first contract job on a daytime drama.

Melissa relocated to Los Angles and graduated from high school while appearing on Santa Barbara, but after only one year on the show, she was released from her contract when the Perkins family was written off the canvass. In September of 1985, one month after leaving Santa Barbara, Melissa landed the role of Jennifer Horton on Days of our Lives, a role that earned her four Soap Opera Awards and a place amongst television's most beloved heroines.

Melissa met her husband, actor Scott Reeves, when he joined the cast of Days. At the time, they were both involved with other people and there were no romantic sparks. Sometime later, however, Scott invited Melissa to a party and on their first date, it was clearly love at first sight. The couple became engaged one month later and they married on March 23, 1990.

Scott, who stared as Ryan on The Young and the Restless, and Melissa recently celebrated their tenth wedding anniversary. They currently reside in the San Fernando Valley with their eight year old daughter, Emily, and their three-year-old son, Larry. The Reeves have a menagerie of pets, which includes two dogs named Grace and Coco.

In 1999, both Melissa and Scott starred in the made for television film Half a Dozen Babies, which told the real story of the Dilley family and their six little blessings.

Melissa, who likes to unwind by quilting, sewing, and painting, is ecstatic to be returning to Days of our Lives. "My children are older now and there was never a question where I would work. It was always going to be back at Days. It's like coming home."

Melissa celebrates her birthday on March 14.

FRANCES REID - Alice Horton

CLICK FOR CHARACTER BIO...

Emmy Award nominee Frances Reid, who has played Alice Horton for the entire 35 years Days of our Lives has been on the air, is daytime television's most beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. As one of only two remaining original cast members, she is indisputably one of the most revered veterans in soap opera history.

She has won the Soap Opera Digest Award for Outstanding Actress/Mature Role in 1985, 1984, 1979 and 1978 and was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series in 1986/87 and for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a drama series in 1978/79.

It is a surprise to many long-time Days viewers who only know her as Alice that Frances had an accomplished acting career prior to her debut on Days on November 8, 1965. Her Broadway appearances include Hamlet with Maurice Evans, Cyrano de Bergerac with Jose Ferrer, Twelfth Night and a Theater Hill production of The Rivals with Mary Boland.

Her first radio job was at NBC as Ann Rutledge in Prologue To Glory, which was followed by the role of Mrs. Moonlight in Mrs. Moonlight and Charlotte Corday in Charlotte Corday. Little did she know at that time how the name Corday was to play an important role in her life.

Reid's television credits include the Eleventh Hour, Little Mister, Wagon Train, and the movie-of-the-week Mercy Or Murder?

Her film debut was in the 1937 feature Stage Door with Katherine Hepburn, Lucille Ball and Ginger Rogers. But it was in the 1966 film Seconds, in which Reid played Rock Hudson's wife, where one scene took days to shoot, that pushed Frances in the direction of television, where things move at a much faster pace.

Reid's initial entrée into TV soap opera was in 1953, when she starred in Portia Faces Life. The show had just converted from radio to TV and was only 15 minutes per episode. Reid, who felt pressured doing one show per day, left after only six months.

In 1965, when Ted Corday offered Frances the role of Alice, Reid was hesitant about signing on with Days of our Lives. She was familiar with the pressures of doing a daily show and, at that time, working on a soap opera was not the thing to do. However, roles for women over 30 were not copious and Reid, who always needed to be working, accepted his offer. It's been a great run.

And one that Frances takes seriously. To help look out after her fellow actors, she is an active member of the American Federation for Television and Radio Artists, serving as first vice president of the local.

Reid was born in Wichita Falls, Texas and raised in Berkeley, California. After graduating from Pasadena Community Playhouse, Reid pursued her acting career immediately, landing a role in the West Coast production of Tovarich.

Her father had always told the Reid sisters that they must grow up and take responsibility for their lives, which meant supporting themselves. In Frances' generation it was typical for women to get married, raise children and never hold a job outside the home.

But thanks to her father, Reid didn't follow the conventional social wisdom. Although she was married to the late actor Phillip Bourneuf for 43 years, the couple never had children. Most people might find it hard to believe, considering she epitomizes matriarchy on Days of our Lives. But Frances makes up for it by being a terrific aunt and constantly entertains her nieces and nephews.

When not acting, Frances is an inveterate traveler. Her vacations find her in such exotic locales as South Africa, Peru, China and Egypt and the more mundane but no less exciting cities of Europe, most recently those in Italy.

Perhaps the words about independence that Reid's father used to preach to her is the reason why she is still in Salem. According to Frances, age is no reason to retire from the thing she loves to do best - act

PEGGY McCAY - Caroline Brady

CLICK FOR CHARACTER BIO...

Emmy and Obie Award-winning actress Peggy McCay is best known as the fiery, amber-eyed Caroline Brady on NBC-TV's number one daytime drama Days of our Lives. This combined with her primetime television performances has brought her recognition from the public as well as her peers.

McCay has five Emmy nominations to her credit and holds the unique honor of being the only actor to receive two Emmy nominations in the same year (1987). In daytime, she was nominated for Lead Actress for her work on "Days of our Lives" and in primetime for Best Guest Actress for her work on Cagney and Lacey. McCay took home the statue in 1991 for her performance as a homeless woman on The Trials of Rosie O'Neill. This same performance garnered her a special award from the John Henry Foundation that read: "For your dignified and perceptive depiction of mental illness."

McCay's other nominations include Lead Actress for Days of our Lives (1986) and the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Miniseries category (1993) for her work as Tatum O'Neal's mother in Woman on the Run: The Lawrencia Bembenek Story. The latter also earned her a nomination from the Canadian Academy for a Gemini Award, a rare achievement for an American.

The more than 1000 members of the Acting Branch of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences have acknowledged McCay's contributions to her profession by electing her as their Governor. She is a member of the Daytime Awards Committee and as such was instrumental in obtaining the 1995 Lifetime Achievement Emmy for Ted and Betty Corday, who are the creators and executive producers of Days of our Lives. Peggy is also a founding member of The New Image Committee; a bi-coastal organization designed to improve the daytime Emmy Awards show and the nomination process.

Peggy grew up in the "Big Apple" and spent her childhood playtime acting out scenarios that were constantly overflowing from her creative and active imagination. "I loved 'play acting' with all of my friends," McCay recalls. "I'd set up situations, paint a scenario and then we would all act them out, never knowing how our stories were going to end. Today it's called 'improv,' or better yet, interactive/CD ROM acting, but back then, it was just 'Cops 'N Robbers' and 'Knights in Armor.'"

By the time she entered high school, McCay landed roles on the stage performing in Omnibus and Playhouse 90. After graduating from Barnard College of Columbia University, she immediately landed a role in a Kraft Theater show. She continued cultivating her talents touring as the youngest member of the Margo Jones Repertory Theater and received her training from such greats as Sanford Meisner, Harold Clurman and Lee Strasberg.

After dazzling the theater world, McCay was lured to Hollywood by Warner Bros., who fell in love with her and put her under contract. She immediately had her own comedy series, Room for One More and guest-starred on Alfred Hitchcock Presents and Maverick, among others. More recent guest-starring roles include series such as L.A. Law, Night Court, Newhart, Highway to Heaven, The Jefferson's, and Cagney and Lacey. Peggy was a regular on Gibbsville, and The Lazurus Syndrome and had a recurring role on Lou Grant.

Not only has Peggy been an invaluable contributor to primetime, but she will always remain an invaluable member of the daytime community, having appeared on Love of Life and General Hospital, not to mention her current role on Days of our Lives. McCay explains her affection for daytime television, "I love the spontaneity of daytime TV after all it's the nearest thing to theater we have in television.

This love for theater is apparent to any audience member who has seen her in the Chekov masterpiece Uncle Vanya and the subsequent film. For her role as Sonya opposite Franchot Tone in the theatrical production, Peggy became one of the first women to win the Village Voice Obie Award. She also appeared in the television adaptation of The Cherry Orchard with Helen Hayes and Susan Strasberg and toured with Ms. Hayes in the same production. Recently, Peggy honed her skills touring with Joseph Mascolo in the smash theater piece Love Letters, and remains a lifetime member of The Actor's Studio, whose lifetime members also include Marlon Brando, Paul Newman and Marilyn Monroe. As appealing on film as she is on television, McCay has starred in films such as Murphy's Romance, Second Thoughts with Lucy Arnaz, and Bustin' Loose with Richard Pryor. McCay's movies-of-the-week include Two of a Kind with George Burns, Amityville with Patty Duke and Deadly Care with Cheryl Ladd.

Peggy is extremely devoted to animal rights issues and contributes a great deal of her time and energy to PETA, Last Chance for Animals, Actors and Others for Animals, L.A.S.P.C.A., and many others. She is so devoted to animals that she has requested that the actors on Days refrain from wearing fur on the show and considers her home a sanctuary for lost and homeless pets. When she is not caring for a lovable furry creature, Peggy is traveling the country, visiting college campuses, teaching intensive drama workshops and holding fundraisers for college drama/theater departments.

RENEE JONES - Lexie Brooks Carver

CLICK FOR CHRACTER BIO...

It is not unusual for an actress to play two roles on the same daytime drama if the second role is an evil twin. Renée Jones has the distinction of playing two totally separate characters on NBC-TVs Days of our Lives and, although the characters are not related, the women do have something in common - they both worked for the Salem Police Department and were in love with the same man!

Renée was initially cast in the role of Salem PD secretary Nikki Wade 10 years ago. Her character came from a wealthy family and had a major crush on her boss Abe Carver. Abe experienced the push-pull of desire for his youthful secretary coupled with the knowledge that Nikki was too young for him.

Cut to: Ten years later. The role of Lexie Carver, Abes wife. A more experienced and sophisticated Renée Jones is the perfect actress to play the role.

Born in Opa Locka, Florida, Renée was the youngest of five sisters and one brother. Her parents separated when she was an infant and her mother took the children to live with their grandmother in Sparta, Georgia. Growing up on her grandmothers farm with 13 kids (lots of cousins) and no indoor plumbing, Renée quickly learned to handle chores such as chopping wood and drawing water from the well.

When she was 10 years old. Renée's mother moved her family to Mt. Vernon, NY and worked two jobs to support her six children. It was a big culture shock for a girl raised on a farm, but Renée adjusted and began earning straight A's in school. By the time she reached high school, Renée was driven to succeed. Influenced by the strong role model her mother provided, she began to double up on her schoolwork by taking night classes, which enabled her to graduate high school at the age of 16.

Following her graduation, she landed a position at Yonkers Professional Hospital as an admitting clerk. With some work experience on her resume, Renée soon obtained a secretarial job at a radiology lab and set her sights on becoming a radiology technician.

But fate intervened, in the form of a friend, who suggested that Renée give modeling a try. He introduced her to the Black Beauty Modeling Agency and she decided to pursue the new career opportunity. She took a night job as a grocery store cashier to pay the bills and to give her free time during the day to make the one-hour commute into Manhattan to pound the pavements on go-sees in search of modeling assignments. Her diligence paid off and she was rewarded by a contract with the renowned Ford Modeling Agency. By age 19, she was supporting herself modeling full time and had garnered the distinction of being the first black model to appear on the cover of Teen Magazine.

During this time, Renée worked hard during the day and at night studied acting, dancing and singing in order to make the transition to an acting career. She soon decided it was time to try her luck in California. The tenacious, young girl who had already come so far from her humble beginnings, got her life in order and made the move to Los Angeles, where she landed her first acting role on The White Shadow. Renée recalls, "All I had to say was one line, but I'll never forget it."

That one line led to dozens more television guest spots, including Murder She Wrote, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Star Trek, Bodies of Evidence, In the Heat of the Night, 21 Jump Street, Highway to Heaven, Hardcastle & McCormick, Trapper John, M.D., recurring roles on Santa Barbara, the previously mentioned role of 'Nikki' on Days of our Lives, and two-and-one-half seasons on L.A. Law. Renée was also a regular on the short-lived Lindsay Wagner series, Jessie.

Renée completed two television movies for Disney, Tracks of Glory, and one of her most cherished roles, Lilah, in The Liberators, with Robert Carradine. But the part which brings her the most on-the-street recognition is her feature film debut as one of Jason's victims in Friday, the 13th, Part 6.

As well as her dramatic work, Renée is no stranger to comedy, having appeared as a series regular in Honeymoon Hotel with Isabel Sanford and in episodes of The Jeffersons, Marblehead Manor, What's Happening Now, Different Strokes, WKRP In Cincinnati, and Night Court. Off screen, Renée delights in reading, dancing and playing tennis. But like Lexie, Renée believes that hard work and determination will lead to success, which is why she enjoys the challenge of working on Days. "Daytime is a big challenge," says Renée. "Shooting an episode in one day is like cramming for an exam. But it definitely pays off in fulfillment."

Renée's philosophy of believing in oneself, and maintaining a positive attitude, has made her a successful young woman.

SUZANNE ROGERS - Maggie Horton

CLICK FOR CHARACTER BIO...

It's not so very common to find a soap opera star who's played the same character on the same show for more than 20 years, but Emmy Award winning actress Suzanne Rogers, who has played Maggie Horton on NBC-TV's Days of our Lives since 1973, has been around for 26!

Growing up in Colonial Heights, Virginia, with her parents Edna and Pete Crumpler and younger sister Lorettea, Suzanne was an avid dancer from the moment she could walk. Whether it was tap, ballet, or jazz, her passion was dance. By the time she reached Colonial Heights High School, Rogers was so polished a performer that she won first prize in the school talent show and her voice was as impressive as her moves, so she was selected as the glee club soloist.

High school success in the performing arts wasn't enough. Rogers longed to nail a spot with one of the most renowned dance troupes in all of America - The Rockettes. So, Suzanne's mother took her to New York to audition against hundreds of other ambitious, talented girls for the few spots available. Rogers vividly remember the agonizing series of auditions where the girls were scrutinized for appearance as well as talent. Her impressive dancing ability successfully took her through the screening process to land a spot with the Rockettes. She recalls, It was the most wonderful and the hardest thing I have ever done in my life.

One day while still performing with the Rockettes, some co-workers overhead Rogers singing and encouraged her to move onto a career in musical theater. However, the Rockettes' management frowned upon its dancers doing outside projects. So, Suzanne ran to and from auditions on the QT between performances at Radio City Music Hall. She became an expert at juggling auditions, dance class, acting class, show performances, and commercials. Finally, she was cast in her first play 110 Degrees in the Shade and she bid goodbye to the Rockettes.

Roger's career as an actress/dancer grew tremendously over the next eight years in New York, with Broadway theater credits including roles in Coco (starring Katherine Hepburn), Hallelujah Baby, Follies, and the national touring company of Funny Girl.

In between her theater engagements, Rogers returned to her dance roots and performed on the Ed Sullivan Show as one of the Peter Genero dancers. Additionally, she appeared in several national television commercials for products such as Pepsi Cola, Noxema and Lysol.

Finally, a producer told her that if she wanted to have a serious career, she would have to change her last name, tone down her voice and dispose of her Southern twang. The newly christened Suzanne Rogers studied voice and diction and was ready to it the big time.

In 1973, after Suzanne decided to give California a shot, she landed a role on NBC-TV's Days of our Lives. She had originally auditioned for a part on The Young and the Restless, but it turned out they were looking for blondes. The folks at Days saw her tape, though, and Maggie Horton was born.

Rogers has starred on the daytime drama ever since, and received an Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actress in 1979. Suzanne finds acting on a soap opera to be incredibly challenging. "It is the best repertoire in the world. If you can do a soap, you can do anything," she says.

Rogers proved to herself and all of her devoted viewers that she could indeed conquer anything when she was diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis in 1984. Initially, she was terrified. For one year, during which she took a hiatus from the show, Rogers developed horrible symptoms: she became emaciated, could barely speak and saw with a double vision. With medication, therapy and remarkable inner strength, she combated her disease. She reflects, "It's been a growing experience. I am much kinder to myself, my family, the people I love, the people I work with and even the people that are not very nice to me."

Since that time, Rogers works to bestow her positive way of thinking on other Myasthenia Gravis patients. She sends cards and calls to the afflicted all over the world to tell them of her battle and to give them encouragement.

Suzanne is now in remission and lives a strong, healthy life. She plays golf, walks daily and loves to cook in her Studio City home. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and watching old films on the American Movie Classics channel. Her three cats, Tiffany, Melanie and Maxwell, keep her company.

SUSAN SEAFORTH HAYES -Julie Williams

CLICK FOR CHARACTER BIO...

Susan Seaforth Hayes, professional actress by trade, is an historian by desire. Her degree from Los Angeles City College is in history, and the stack of books at her deskside reflects an intense interest in the American West and diverse Native American cultures. Had she not been so talented an actress, she probably would be teaching today, or writing history books.

But it seems that Susan was destined to spend her life on stage and in front of the cameras. Her initial theatrical experience was at the age of four, playing "Trouble" to Dorothy Kirsten’s "Madame Butterfly" for the Metropolitan Opera company. As a pre-teen, she toured with Billie Burke in "Mother was a Bachelor," and as a teenager, she developed her crafts in the exciting world of television with appearances on: "Matinee Theatre," "Lassie," "Eve Arden," "Wyatt Earp," "Loretta Young," "Danny Thomas;" and films: "Five Pennies," "Angel in My Pocket," "Billy" and "California."

Susan plugged away at her college studies, interspersing classes with film, TV, and stage work. She plumbed emotional depths on TV’s "Dragnet," "FBI," "Death Valley Days," "Bonanza," "Hallmark," "My 3 Sons," "Fugitive," "Hawaiian Eye," "77 Sunset Strip," "Man from UNCLE," "Wagon Train," "Perry Mason," "Emergency," "Adam 12" and "Ironside." But when she discovered the exciting/demanding world of soaps Susan was forced to curtail her academic work. "Young Married," (2 yrs.) "General Hospital," (1 yr.) "The Young and the Restless," (5 yrs.) and "Days of our Lives" (26 years!) put a serious dent in her classroom attendance record. This was not without its rewards, however, as the sudsy genre produced for her four Emmy nominations, several Best Actress Awards, a Time Magazine cover, many years of Top-Ten Lists in fan-mags, and even a husband, when in 1974 Susan married her ‘Days’ co-star Bill Hayes.

In recent years, though Susan lectured at Los Angeles Valley College and Boston University, her time still was primarily devoted to stage, TV and film. In 1997, Susan co-starred in the premiere of Bernard Slade’s new play "Same Time Another Year." In the spring of 1999, she created the take-charge role of District Attorney Steel on NBC’s "Sunset Beach" and in the fall of 1999, she returned once again to add her personal spice to the character of ‘Julie’ on "Days of our Lives." History will just have to wait while Susan does her thing.

HOPE WILLIAMS BRADY BIO...

Hope was born in 1974 to Addie and Doug. Addie died soon after that in a tragic accident. She grew up with her maternal grandparents until her father felt sturdy enough to take her back. He married her half sister Julie not long after. Then, Hope was shipped off to boarding school. We didn't see her again until the early 80s.

Hope returned and developed a serious crush on Roman Brady, and tried her best to get him. She tried to seduce him, but that attempt failed. Roman realized this was nothing by a schoolgirl crush, but Bo got very jealous. He wouldn't admit to himself that he had feelings for Hope. Soon, they found themselves in love, continually fighting and always making up. They intended on marrying, but Doug, her father, had other ideas. He pushed the idea of Hope marrying someone like Larry Welch, a politician with high aspirations. also lacking a conscience. They married at their second attempt. At the first ceremony Bo stormed in and took the bride away from the church.

Bo and Hope eventually married and moved into the Kiriakis Mansion, home of Bo's natural father, Victor Kiriakis. Hope didn't like the way Bo was changing to please his father, and as a result, miscarried their unborn child. This caused a serious rift in their marriage. They pretended to separate, but all the while were deep in love. Soon, Hope found herself pregnant with their second child, a son, who was named Shawn-Douglas after both of their fathers. ( Bo regards Shawn Brady as his father.) Not long after, they set out on a boat trip around the world. For a while, three years to be exact, they stayed away from Salem.

Bo, Hope, and a toddler Shawn-D. returned to Salem, much to happiness of Caroline and Alice. They soon got entangled in the dealings with Ernesto on the ship Loretta. Ernesto, seeking some kind of revenge, took Hope captive in a cave. The cave then exploded, and Hope was assumed dead. No body was ever found. Bo, stricken, returned to Salem, to somehow piece together a life for Shawn-D. without Hope.

Gina was found at Maison Blanche in 1994. Bo refused to believe who she was. This woman had amnesia, but looked exactly like Hope. Earlier that night, Bo had proposed to his fiancee, Billie Reed. There were plastic surgery marks, so this could have been another fishy dealing with Stefano. For months, Gina thought she was Hope but had no memories to back it up. Alice truly believed this woman was her granddaughter and she was right. Amnesiac Gina's fingerprint samples matched Hope's exactly. Hope resumed her life as Hope, but that was no easy task. She wanted her husband back, but he was in love with Billie. Dutifully, Hope granted Bo a divorce, and Billie and Bo married until Billie realized that Bo had unresolved feelings. She left Salem for Paris and stayed there for a year or two.

Hope, after being spurned for all those years, closed off to Bo in every way. They didn't get back together for a long time. On the day they were supposed to get remarried, Hope found Bo and Billie in a compromising position, assumed the worst and called off the wedding. Hope then became involved with Franco Kelly.

Stefano, while she was at Maison Blanche for four years, had given Hope Princess Gina's memories which were installed on a chip. Princess Gina had been an art thief who had died in a car crash. She also painted over them, and Stefano had more masterpieces that needed to be worked on. He transformed Hope into Gina, and for four years, she lived the regal life of Gina. Stefano, in order to get his art treasures back from Vivian, transformed Hope back into Gina.

Under Stefano's influence, Hope kidnapped John and turned him evil before the two made love on the yacht. After Stefano found them and got rid of John, he and 'Gina' made love. 'Gina' planned to go to Paris to get the letter that would bring her and John back together, but she and Stefano managed to be held hostage in the real Gina's castle while Gina took over her life. When they finally rescued Hope she was pregnant with a child she believed to be Bo's, until she found out that there was no way she could have become pregnant with Bo's child.

After DNA tests, Hope was led to believe that the baby belonged to John. Unbeknownest to her, the baby didn't even belong to her...the child belonged to Marlo, a niece of Stefano's henchman Rolf, and had been switched at birth via Stefano's instructions. The boys were over a year old when they learned that Bo and Hope were raising Marlo's son with Glen Reiber, and Abe and Lexie had Bo and Hope's son. Bo and Hope immediately demanded that Lexie return her son, and also started proceedings to keep Glen and Marlo's son. Eventually they lost custody of little J.T. to his natural father, and Abe relinquished custody of little Isaac (renamed Zack) to Bo and Hope.

Not long after, Bo and Hope were thrilled to learn that John wasn't really the father after all; Bo was. It turned out neither one recalled sleeping together, but they had, and Zack was biologically both of theirs. After a brief stint as bounty hunters, and after Larry Welch came back from the dead to temporarily kidnap Hope, Bo and Hope both rejoined the police force to investigate the Salem Stalker case. Hope hurt for Jennifer when Jack was the second victim, but was utterly devastated when Maggie Horton was the third.

With each victim, Hope's pain got worse, but nothing was as bad as watching Bo suffer through the loss of not only his mother, but also his father and half-brother Roman as well, then Hope's own grief when two of the final victims were her father, Doug, and lastly her beloved gran. Hope ended up going after Patrick Lockhart, and the two ended up trapped on the island of Melaswen. Although desperate to get back to her husband and sons, Hope was thrilled to be reunited with loved ones she thought were dead. She managed to get away from the compound and meet up with Jack Deveraux, but it wasn't long before they were separated. Once Bo ended up on the island he and Hope were determined to get off, but there was a new problem. One of the island residents was Billie Reed, the only other woman Bo had truly loved.

After getting off the island and getting back to Salem, Hope was determined to put what happened on the island (including Billie coming back) behind her, but when Bo and Billie learned their long-believed dead daughter Georgia was really alive and well, Hope found herself sitting on the sidelines as Bo moved heaven and earth to help Billie find their lost little girl. Once the search for Georgia stagnated, Bo and Hope worked on getting their relationship back together, and Bo bought the two of them a new boat, Fancy Face III.

Since Bo and Billie have found their daughter Hope has been trying very hard to stay out of the way while being a supportive, wife, friend to Billie and step mother to Chelsea... ya good luck with that!

BELLE BLACK KIRIAKIS BIO...

Belle was born at the Horton Cabin and was delivered by John Black and Kristen Blake. Originally believed to be the child of Marlena and Roman Brady, Belle was actually John Black and Marlena Brady's child. Belle's half-sister, Samantha, switched Belle's paternity test results and even attempted to sell Belle on the black market. Eventually the truth about Belle's paternity came out, and Roman and Marlena's marriage fell apart.

In 1998, Belle ate some chocolate that was poisoned with penicillin by Kristen Blake. The chocolate was meant to be eaten by Marlena, who is also allergic to penicillin. Thank to quick thinking on Roman Brady's part, Belle survived.

When Belle grew up, she soon got herself into a group of friends that included Jason Welles, Jan Spears, Mimi Lockhart, Phillip Kiriakis, Shawn Douglas Brady, and Chloe Lane. An escapade with her brother Brady resulted in Belle ending up in a coma (and then waking up with amnesia). Once her memory was recovered, Belle began dating her best friend since childhood, Shawn Brady.

Shawn and Belle's relationship was threatened after the Puerto Rico trip, when Shawn claimed he was the father of the baby Jan Spears was carrying. It was only after Jan lost the baby that the truth came out, and although it took some time, Shawn and Belle were able to get their relationship back on track. It was again threatened once the two started university when Cassie DiMera developed an obsession with Shawn.

After a few false starts at love-making, Belle and Shawn finally vowed to wait until marriage. When Belle tried to jump the gun, Shawn convinced her that if they waited, it would be all that much sweeter. Stressed out by the Salem Stalker killings, Belle left Salem for Milan to take care of some business for Basic Black, and didn't return until after Cassie's murder. Unfortunately, when she lied for her mother, she put a permanent wedge between her and Shawn. After learning that Belle's lies enabled Marlena to kill Alice, Shawn took off.

When Shawn did not come back, Belle continued to hope and pray that it would all work out, but after Jan Spears told her that Shawn had joined the merchant marines, she was devastated, and then later shocked to realise that her 'friend' Philip had deeper feelings for her than she thought. When Shawn came back to town, Belle initially held out hopes that they would reunite but soon realised he was in deep with Jan Spears. She and Shawn slept together just once when they got stuck in a barn together, but that didn't stop Belle from walking down the aisle with Philip.

After the wedding, Belle and Shawn met on the roof, and Belle finally admitted that she still loved Shawn and wanted to leave her husband to be with him. She rushed to tell Philip before he left that she wanted to be with Shawn, but he had already gotten on the plane leaving for Iraq. Belle remained firm in her desire to tell Philip the truth until Philip lost his leg in a land mine explosion. Belle made the tough decision to stand by her husband, but she can't forget her feelings for Shawn.

MARLENA EVANS BLACK BIO...

Dr. Marlena Evans made her debut as one of Mickey's psychiatrists at Bayview Sanitarium. Soon after her appearance she was drugged and admitted to Bayview while her twin sister impersonated her. She managed to escape and called Don to pick her up but she was caught and Samantha (Imoersonating Marlena) ordered shock treatments to keep her sister docile. After awhile Don started suspecting the switch and soon Marlena was released and Samantha arrested. Late that year (1977) Don announced his plans to marry Marlena. During this time Marlena flew to where Samantha was being held and they shared a reconciliation.

During the her wedding to Don, Marlena left him at the alter to try to keep a girl from jumping off the roof. The girl was Don's daughter and Don fell off the roof in his effort to save her. Don and Marlena eventually wed the following year. She became pregnant later that year. She gave bith prematurely to a two pound ten ounce baby boy. Three months later the baby died of SIDS. Marlena and Don seperated when they could not come to terms with their baby's death.

In 1981 Marlena began being threatened and a young woman was found strangled. Son a second woman was found strangled and the killer wrote Marlena a note saying it was her fault. Then a doll with a broken neck hung by a silk scarf from her curtain rod in her apartment. Police officer Roman Brady began working on the case. More killings followed. Roman ended up shooting the strangler after he had kidnapped Marlena and strangled Samantha.

Roman and Marlena went to Mazatlan but Marlena shied away from any romance believeing that the murders were her fault. Roman asked Marlena to wait for him while he cleared up the business of declaring his first wife dead so he could be legally free to marry her. Anna Brady ended up being alive and came to Salem for a divorce from Roman. Marlena was then able to marry Roman, however while Roman went undercover, Don in disguise went with Marlena on the honeymoon so that they could pretend that Roman was there (Marlena was fully aware). In 1984 Marlena found she was again pregnant. She gave birth to twins Eric and Samantha Brady. Roman was "killed" by Stefano and then Stefano went after Marlena. Marlena then shot Stefano, who fell from a catwalk and was presumed dead. Marlena was charged with Stefano's death but ultimately a mistrial was declared.

Marlena then dated Richard Cates, who was the Salem Police Chief and an old friend of Roman's. It turned out that he was crooked though. In the beginning of 1986 Marlena met the John Black who she later determined was her husband Roman with extensive plastic surgery. After a prolonged stay in the hospital she and "Roman" renewed their wedding vows. Late that year a bomb inside the Brady house "Killed" Marlena. Though Marlena wasn't actually killed she was abducted and sent to a remote island. Roman followed and watched in horror as the plane carrying Marlena exploded in mid-air.

Five years later the presumed dead Marlena returned to Salem. She and "Roman" then went to find her captors and they found the real Roman. Roman and Marlena were reunited.

Marlena began counseling Roger Lombard who was driving drunk and hit her sister-in-law Kimberly. Roger's wife Stella became insanely jealous of Marlena and believed the two were having an affair. Stella kidnapped Marlena and threw her into the boiler pit of an old warehouse that was scheduled for demolishen. Stella had a change of heart and called the police to let them know of Marlena's whereabouts when Stella was killed. John however followed the few clues that Stella had given and reached Marlena just as the warehouse exploded. The two were trapped inside until their friend Abe Carver rescued them. However their ordeal rekindled feelings for each other.

When Marlena vowed to stay with Roman, John planned to leave town. Marlena went to his plane to say good-bye but the two fell into a passionate embrace and made love. Their affair was discovered by Marlena's daughter Sami. Marlena learned she was pregnant but didn't know who the father was. It was revealed at baby Belle's baptism that John, not Roman, was indeed the father.

When Marlena went to Louisiana to search for John she was captured by Stefano and was forced to call Roman and tell him she was with John, giving their reconciliation the final blow. After they escaped, Stefano followed them to Salem and began using mind altering drugs on Marlena. Marlena did not seem her old self anymore and soon it was revealed that she was the "Desecrator" and was possessed by the Devil. John Black, who had been a priest before he came to Salem, performed an exorcism to save Marlena's soul. It seemed at first that Marlena would not survive but John and GOD pulled her through.

After her divorce from Roman, Marlena decided to pursue her feelings for John only to be kept apart from him by Kristen. Stefano managed to kidnap Marlena a couple more times but always John rescued her. Marlena kept her faith in John even as he stood trial and was sentenced to executed for Tony's murder. John wrote Marlena a letter confessing his love for her which Kristen found and hid. After John was recanted of his crime, Marlena found the letter but promised Kristen she wouldn't tell John of Kristen's doings to keep them apart due to the delicate nature of Kristens pregnancy. Though the pregnancy is over now, was in fact over within a few months, Kristen faked her way through the remainder of the pregnancy and is now doing all that is possible to keep Marlena from John.

Marlena got engaged to John Black the night of his wedding to Susan/Kristen. That night at the Penthouse, they made love for the first time in 4 years and he asked her to marry him. They planned their wedding, only to have Kristen bring her presumed dead ex-husband Roman to the church. The wedding never happened, and they found out that Roman had an incurable viral disease from the nuclear war he had fought for the ISA.

Feeling guilty, Marlena devoted her time to him, all the while, Roman didn't know that she was engaged to John. Kristen had told him that John and her were married and Marlena still loved him. She couldn't break a dying man's heart. But, Stefano presented a miracle! He knew where they could find the cure in the jungle. John, Hope, Kristen and Stefano went to the jungle, while she cared and spent a lot of time with Roman. She began to care for him again, much to the dismay of John, who interrupted their wedding with the cure. Roman found out about John and Marlena and had his blood pressure rise to a skyrocketing number. He was hospitalized. John and Marlena eventually found themselves back together.

Marlena is very dismayed at the fact that John has a friendship with Greta, who she thinks might be a fraud. She is standing by her man while he pursues his past, and has hypnotized him a few times. She is also playing watchdog to her "wayward" stepdaughter Carrie, who has feelings for Mike. She doesn't want her to have an affair with Mike, even though Austin practically abandoned her. And also, she is worried about her daughter, grandson, and son-in-law who are hiding from the police... somewhere. Her daughter has just been sentenced to death by lethal injection.

Sami escaped death and is now free, Marlena married her true love John and they were happy for a brief time, one day I think. John was taken control of by evil Gina and he slept with evil Gina several times while on his honeymoon with Marlena. Marlena rescued John from the ocean and he has no memory of evil Gina or what he did. Her happiness at finding John will be short lived as evil Gina is determined to have him for her own, and then there is the real Princess Gina, she wants him too.

With Princess Gina dead and out of the way, it looked like the only problem that John and Marlena would have was that John Thomas Brady, Hope's son, was also John's son as well! But that wasn't the only problem in store for them when John's son Brady came home from university. He had a chip on his shoulder a mile wide because Marlena had always prefered her biological daughter, Belle, to him, and her obsession with proving he was demon spawn indirectly resulted in a horrific accident for her own daughter, and Brady's paralysis.

Everything was back on track with John and Marlena when they discovered first that Tony DiMera was John's half-brother, and then, that while she was held prisoner by Stefano all those years ago, she gave birth to twins Cassie and Rex, fathered by Tony. It wasn't long before Rex figured out that his biological parents were actually Roman and Kate, but Marlena still believes they are hers. She is starting to suspect the truth, but as she has made clear to Rex, she knows she gave birth to them, and regardless of biology, she considers them her children.

Marlena was just recovering from the shock of learning that Rex and Cassie weren't her children when Cassie was murdered. Not only that, but her daughter Sami kept insisting that Marlena was in danger from John, and John made no secret of his dislike and disgust toward not only Sami but also Rex. Despite her burgeoning feeligns for her former husband Roman, Marlena went to Roman and Kate's wedding ceremony, and was devastated when Kate found Roman's dead body. She soon asked John to move out. When Tony was in the hospital recovering from his tiger wounds he looked up to his killer's face...and saw Marlena!

SAMANTHA BRADY BIO...

In 1992 Sami Brady reappeared in Salem as a teenager. (Even though she was born in 1984). She kept having run-ins with a good looking young man and became smitten. A few weeks later she learned that that young man was no other than her sister Carrie's boyfriend.

Soon Sami became friends with Lucas Roberts who was also new to town. Sami convinced Lucas to talk her to the Spring Fling to make Austin jealous. Lucas then talked Sami into going on a crash diet to make Austin notice her so he could have Carrie all to himself. Sami became bulimic and emotional distraught. She confronted her mother Marlena about her affair with John black after Sami spotted the two of them in the heat of passion. Sami pried into the hospital computer and learned that John was the father of her baby sister Belle.

Sami then kidnapped Belle and planned to put her up for adoption so her dad would not have a constant reminder of her mother's affair. Although Roman had no clue that Belle was not his. John found the baby and reunited her with her mother.

A while later Sami began dating Alan who raped her. Sami tested negative for both HIV and pregnancy. When she testified against Alan at the trial she looked like a liar and the charges against Alan were dropped. When Alan attacked Sami at gunpoint, she got hold of the weapon and shot him in the groin, castrating him. She then turned to Lucas for comfort and they made love. Through it all though, Sami still was in love with Austin and soon gave him the date-rape drug (which she got from Lynn Burke) so he would make love to her. When he realized what had happened between them he told her it would never happen again and Sami left town.

She came back to town a bit later to interrupt her sisters wedding to Austin and announced she was pregnant with the grooms child. Little Will was soon born. Austin did all that was possible to help Sami both emotionally and financially while Sami did all she could to keep Austin and Carrie apart. All her schemes came to a head when Kate, Austin's mother, discovered all she had done to keep Austin away from Carrie. After the fallout, baby Will was kidnapped and sold on the black market in France. They found the baby but Austin and Sami were forced to get married in order to get the little guy back.

Austin made it clear from the beginning that the marriage would be annulled once they got back to Salem. However Sami dodged the summons for the annulment and did her best to keep Austin as her husband. She stole Austin's car so he could not go on a romantic weekend with Carrie and the car went out of control. She tried to warn Austin who wouldn't listen. Austin then ran Sami over with the car. Sami spent many weeks in ICU and last rites were performed. However she pulled through but is paralyzed and has amnesia. To keep her from relapsing Austin is pretending to be a loving husband in hopes that his wife will soon remember and they can proceed with the annulment.

Sami got away with playing the amnesia for quite awhile. She continued to oppose the romance between John and Marlena for a LONG while. Roman returned, and try as she might, she could not lie for very long. The return of brother Eric didn't help any either because he sensed when she lied. She manipulated Austin to marry her again in a church, until Carrie, Eric and Mike found out her secret... that Lucas was actually her child's father. Carrie married Austin that day.

Next, Sami was romanced by Franco Kelly so he could get his green card. He personally couldn't stand her ( and hey, who could blame the poor guy?) During this time, she also accused Lucas of child abuse, and because of this, Lucas was driven to drinking. Roman didn't like him at all, and Marlena was very surprised when they announced their engagement July 4, 1998. Franco pursued a stripper Candi while still engaged to Sami. Austin caught Franco making love to Candi in a sleazy motel, and told Sami a few minutes before her wedding to him.

Her words when going to confront Franco? " I'm going to kill the bastard! " ( Famous last words.) Franco was found dead in the Kiriakis living room, and Sami held the murder weapon... the gun Franco had given her to protect herself. ( Lucas actually killed him. ) Sami was convicted and sentenced to the lethal injection.

Austin took Sami and Will out of Salem, and went on the run from the law.

Sami was cleared of the charges and saved at the very last minute. While she didn't stop scheming, she did start enjoying her relationship with Austin. Things went back and forth, but finally she and Austin were engaged to be married, and began planning their future together, until Austin discovered that she had lied about Lucas hitting Will all those years ago. Austin left town, and Sami.

After Austin left, Sami was lost. She didn't know what to do with her life, and was obsessed with punishing Kate and Lucas. Luckily, Brandon Walker's love kept her from going overboard, but it wasn't able to keep her from scheming. When she discovered that Brandon and Lexie had slept together, she used the hospital computers to access the results of the paternity tests to make it look like Abe was the father. When Brandon found out what she had done, he walked away from her only hours after they were married.

Sami went to the DiMera mansion to confront Tony when she realised he was involved in her exposure, and in the ensuing argument, Tony pushed Sami away from him and she went through the glass doors. She nearly died, which prompted an emotional reaction from Lucas, and caused Sami to wonder what could have been if there hadn't been all the hatred and bitterness.

Sami had just recovered from her wounds when a mysterious rash of killings began in town. After Celeste had a vision that John would kill her mother, Sami begged her father Roman to please help her save her mother (at the same time, she was trying to get them back together, wanting her life to be as it was before John and her mother conceived Belle). Roman was unsuccessful in convincing Marlena to look out for herself. He decided to move on once and for all and marry Kate. Sami blasted her father, making sure he knew that she thought he was crazy for marrying Kate, and that she would never accept it. Marlena had managed to convince her that she needed to mend fences, just as a bloody Kate staggered out of the kitchen and announced that Roman was dead.

Sami blamed Kate for Roman's death. Eventually Marlena was revealed as the Salem Stalker and sent to prison. While on the roof of the jail Marlena was shot by snipers. After Marlena's funeral Lucas helped Sami put the pieces together again. Lucas proposed to her and Sami happily accepted. Kate was furious not wanting Sami to marry her son and vowed to stop it. Of course she couldn't do it out in the open. She pretended to support the wedding and helped pay for most of the stuff. Sami of course didn't buy it. kate set her up to appear to have slept with Brandon Walker the night before her wedding to Lucas. Lucas walked in and the wedding was off. No one believes the for once innocent Sami. Sami's son refused to speak to her as did Lucas. Belle was angry with ehr for what she did and with her parents "dead" she had no one. Sami began to live for revenge. She was offered the chance to get her reveng om everyone who she felt wronged her. As a man! Sami became STAN.

As Stan she aided in John's drug addiction, tortured Mimi about her abortion, helped Nicle cause Chloe's scars to be worse. Sami was sent over seas, as Stan and there she found out who her boss was...TONY DIMERA! Tony showed her proof that her parents were still alive and not only promised her that he would produce him but that they would be together. The catch was that she had to lead Shawn Brady Jr, Brady, Rex and Lucas (who were over seas trying to rescue phillip at the time)into Tony Dimera's hands. He promised her he wouldn't hurt them. When Sami found out his plan was to kill them, she saved them and the group headed back to Salem.

Once back in Salem Lucas still told Sami that after what she did with Brandon they couldn't be together. Sami found proof that Kate and set her up and Lucas proposed to her again, she again accepted. The wedding was on. About to say "Ido" Sami's dreams once again blew up in her face. Kate had found out about her life as Stan and brought the proof to the church, dressed as Stan. Lucas called off the wedding and vowed never to speak to her again. Sami was all alone and heart broken. But wait who's this knight in shining armour coming to help her? Why it is none other than Austin Reed...hmmmm what will this hold? STAY TUNED TO FIND OUT

He courted Sami to get a green card, and Kate knew it, but didn't let Franco marry Sami. So right now, Kate is trying to keep her family together without going to jail for conspiracy to murder. Sami was convicted and sentenced to death, Kate said that Roberto confessed to Franco's murder and Sami was freed at the last minute. Kate is now still trying to keep the secret of Franco's murder and battle with Vivian over control of Titan. Kate is also on the brink of an affair with the much younger Nicholas Alamain.

Kate and Nicholas had a torrid affair, but he left town, and she attempted to get Victor to marry her once again. She blew her chances, though, when she was caught in flagrante delecto with mob boss Vincent Moroni. She conspired with him to kill Victor at the coronation, and her plan set a horrible gun play in motion that killed Vincent's only child, Angela, and prompted Vincent's suicide. Victor realised her plan, and escaped with his life (after faking his death). He revealed himself to her the night she set the house on fire and attempted to murder him with a poker. Luckily, Victor got out, but Lucas wasn't so lucky...he was in the house that night, drunk, and ended up with severe burns.

Victor exposed Kate and kicked her out on her ear, forcing her to find work at a diner. Out of respect for their son, Victor didn't tell Philip that Kate had attempted numerous murders and was the reason that Lucas nearly died. Thanks to Philip's pleas, Victor finally agreed to provide Kate with a small allowance. She got a job at Basic Black, and began dating Roman Brady, terrified that at any moment, her secret could come out and destroy their relationship. Kate became one of the top suspects in Abe's murder because he knew her secret, but Kate finally broke down and confessed to Roman, which ended their relationship. When Lucas overheard Sami and Kate talking about Kate's past and the fact that Lucas's father's identity was unknown, he turned his back on her.

Kate and Roman were able to work their way back to each other because their love was just too strong to deny. Roman asked Kate to marry him, and she happily accepted. They had a beautiful wedding, with all of their friends and family in attendance, but Kate was shattered when, at the wedding reception, she found Roman's dead body. She mourned him deeply, but that didn't stop her from doing her best to destroy her son Lucas' newfound relationship with Roman's daughter Sami, who she swore she would try to get along with. She threw herself into her work (and destroying Sami), and the closer Sami and Lucas got, the more convinced Kate was that her only hope for happiness lay with Philip, and she began 'encouraging' him to spend more time with Belle. When Lucas and Sami got engaged, it took everything Kate had not to lose it.

Kate also moved on in her personal life, becoming engaged to John Black after months of helping him deal with a drug addiction. But just as the two were planning their lives together, their presumed dead spouses returned to Salem.

Kate was furious when she found out that Roman had been withholding the secret of him and Marlena sleeping together while held captive. When Marlena lost the baby her anger didn't dissappear one bit. Funny thing it didn't seem to disappear until Sami proved to everyone that Kate had set her and Brandon up. As a result of Kate's schemes she lost her husband, Roman, her son Lucas and her grand son Will. Lucas did not invite her to the wedding that followed.

A furious Kate was not about to let Sami win. She went into over drive to find something on Sami that would stop the wedding. And find she did. She found out that Sami was the infamous Stan a wanted criminal for crimes against his country. Kate dressed up as Stan and entered the church where Sami and Lucas were to be married. She revealed her findings and believed Lucas , Roman and Will would then be at her side. WRONG! They were just as furious at her. They way she had delivered the proof was dispicable and the fact that Sami had been driven to this by Kate due to Kate's settng her and Brandon up were not forgivable. Lucas still doesn't associate kindly with his mom and Roman has filed for divorce.

NICOLE WALKER KIRIAKIS

Nicole was the overworked, underpaid waitress with dreams of being a model and escaping the secrets of her past. Then she met Eric, boywonder with a heart of gold. He eventually became enamored with the pretty face, and convinced Sami to offer her a modelling contract. She did just that, and graced the cover of Bella magazine. She moved from wrong side of the tracks to queen of the right side within a month or two. But she was always held back by someone- we weren't sure who- finding out where she lived. She periodically wrote checks to someone and was afraid. We met Jay, her ex boyfriend, who followed her and " photoboy" around, even on their trip to Los Angeles for a photo shoot.

They were falling in love, and Jay was getting jealous. He even threatened to spill the beans about her past. She met Kate Roberts and became good friends with Sami Brady. She coordinated the bachelorette party, and allowed Kate to pick out the entertainment for the night: the stripper with who Franco was having an affair with. Kate threatened Nicole about this fact and told her to keep quiet. Nicole has complied.

Lucas then decided he needed a wife to get custody of Will, and Nicole was the one he wanted. Right now, Lucas in wining and dining Nicole, much to the dismay of Kate, who thinks Lucas deserves better. Taylor is also an obstacle in her quest to become exclusive with Eric. Taylor wants Eric, and Nicole wants Eric, but is showing interest in Lucas. Taylor is also treading on sacred territory. She's becoming a New Face, and could take over Nicole's modeling gigs. She doesn't like it one bit.

Taylor has since disappeared from town and Nicole is married to Lucas...for the tune of five million dollars! Boy, was she ticked off when Victor hired a man to worm her money away from her. She agreed to help Eric's sister Sami get custody of Will, even though Eric left her and left town. A cancer scare led to a brief reconciliation with Eric, but that didn't last. Nicole did, however, reveal that as a teenager, her father forced her to make pornographic films.

After breaking up with Eric, Nicole told Lucas she wanted a divorce, and ended up starting a relationship with Victor. She was instrumental in helping Victor learn that Kate was out to kill him, and took Kate's place not only in Victor's bedroom, but also in the boardroom. Unfortunately, it wasn't long before things again changed, and Nicole started planning to kill Victor. She even paired up with Larry Welch, but that didn't last long. Now she's trying to get to Victor through his grandson. Brady will work perfectly for her plans, but she's willing to use Shawn or even Victor's son Philip if necessary.

Nicole joined forces with Jan Spears, and Jan killed Victor for Nicole. This left her a very wealthy widow, with a grieving step-grandson she soon fell in love with. Unfortunately, it wasn't just Victor's murder that was looming over her head -- once she learned that Brady's first love Chloe was alive, she was desperate to keep Brady from learning the truth, so much so that she let Stan and Tony help her in sabotaging Chloe's surgery so that she would never get rid of her scars. Once she realized Stan was Sami, she attempted to blow her out of the water, but Sami had the goods on her. When Brady discovered Chloe was alive, he accused Nicole of masterminding her 'death', and kicked her out of his life.

Victor came back from the "dead" and kicked her out of the mansion, with nothing. Poor Nicole was alone ... along comes Austin Reed and new man-chase begins. Nicole is out to get Austin for her very own. Two problems with that ...Sami Brady and Kate Roberts. Austin is determined to help Sami rebuild her life, Nicole and Sami are far from friends.... Kate, Austin's mother, doesn't want Sami nor Nicole in Austin's life. This could turn out to be quite interesting to say the least....

MIMI LOCKHART BIO...

Mimi is the best friend of Belle Black, and they have known each other since kindergarten. Mimi had a big crush on nice guy, Shawn Brady, who seemed more interested in Belle. When the time came for the Last Blast Dance, Mimi actually got down on bended knees in the halls of Salem High, to beg Shawn to take her. He agreed, but ended up taking both Belle and Mimi. Mimi began to act very odd, staying away from her friends, and roaming the streets at night. Fellow student Chloe decided to follow her, discovering she was visiting pawn shops, and ultimately realizing that Mimi & her family were homeless, and living in a tent. Her father had been laid off, and was out of town searching for work. The teens got the idea to build a Habitat for Humanity house for the Lockhart family, and tho, not the best neighborhood, got the job done with lots of help from friends and family.

Mimi became jealous of Belle's friendship with new student Chloe, and began working with Jan Spears to give Chloe a hard time. Jan hung a dead rat in Chloe's locker, with Mimi's aid, but Mimi was forced to look on helplessly when Chloe got her revenge by rubbing Jan's face with it. Later, Mimi entered into a conspiracy with Jan, to take nude pictures of Chloe to plaster on the internet, and make tons of money. Getting Kevin Lambert to prepare a concoction that would make an experiment go awry in chem lab, Chloe was covered with gook and forced to take a shower in the school's bathroom. Having hidden a camera in the duct work, the pictures were there for the taking. Tho Mimi's conscience began to bother her, she went along with Jan, but when she tried to call it all off, Jan threatened her. Seems Jan's hands were cleaner than poor, intimidated Mimi. By then, both Mimi and Jan were tired of Chloe treating them like second rate citizens.

On the night of the Last Blast dance, Jan got Mimi to sneak the incriminating slides into the projector....and Chloe's nude body was on the big screen for all to see, along with the internet web site url. The girls were caught, and Mimi confessed all immediately. In court, the two girls were ordered to clean the school bathrooms every day their entire senior year, no extra curricular activities and also ordered to go on the enviromental study tour to Puerto Rico that summer. Mimi took her punishment well, and made the best of it all. She found love on the island with Kevin Lambert, and dated him upon the return to school. She made her peace with Belle, and seems to have gotten over her jealousy of Belle's friendship with Chloe. She faithfully cleaned toilets and shower walls throughout her final year of high school.

After high-school, all the teens went to university. Unfortunately, Kevin went to school out of state, and he and Mimi were not able to maintain their relationship. After a few brief crushes, Mimi eventually got together with Rex DiMera. Unfortunately, Rex began having mind-altering headaches, which changed his personality so drastically that for a time there, Mimi thought Rex could be the Salem Stalker. Rex and Mimi were finally solid together, but then Mimi found out she was pregnant. Believing that she and Rex weren't ready for children yet, Mimi made the heartbreaking decision to have an abortion without telling Rex. Due to a resulting infection, Mimi was rendered sterile.

Mimi was shocked to learn that Jan Spears had kept Shawn hostage at her country home but before Mimi could say anything Jan warned her that if she did, she would tell everyone about her abortion. Desperate to keep Rex from learning the truth, Mimi allowed Jan to blackmail her into helping her keep Shawn and Belle away from each other, although from time to time Mimi would rebel and try to connect the star-crossed lovebirds, even after Belle married Philip. When Jan tripped and hit her head while arguing with Mimi and ended up in serious condition in the hospital, Mimi confessed, and when it all came down to it, was sentenced to hard time. Rex and Patrick managed to get their hands on a video clearing Mimi's name just in time, and Mimi was released.

Belle had fainted at hospital the night Marlena had her fall and lost her baby. Mimi was there with Belle behind a hospital curtain. Belle scolded Mimi for not having told Rex of her abortion yet. Rex over heard and left her. Mimi vowed revenger on Belle for ruining her life. A sad broken hearted Mimi and a sad lonley Shanw Brady jr. grew closer together in their healing from broken hearts. It seems they will be a couple now. Belle had her baby with Phillip and asked Shawn and Mimi to be baby Clair's god parents. Mimi refused but eventually said yes for Phillip's sake.

JENNIFER HORTON DEVERAUX BIO...

Jennifer Rose Horton was born during a snowstorm in 1976. In 1979, her mother's mental state deteriorated and she put little Jennifer Rose in danger by putting her on a bus alone.

In 1985, Jennifer returned to Salem as a teenager in deep trouble. She had become a rebellious runaway, a compulsive liar, and was being stalked by a rapist. Her brother Dr. Mike Horton came to her rescue. By the following year she had given up on her runaway lifestyle and moved back in with her grandparents, Tom and Alice Horton. During the summer of 1986 she began a non-intimate romance with a high school classmate Glenn Gallagher. However Jennifer inadvertently exposed Glenn's plan to uncover his coach's drug dealing. Jennifer trailed Glenn to the park and found the coach holding a gun to Glenn's head. Jennifer then enlisted the help of classmate Frankie Brady. Later when on a class trip, Jennifer and Frankie discovered they had feelings for one another. Jennifer rejected Glenn's pressure to have sex and turned to Frankie. Together, Jennifer and Frankie foiled a robbery attempt and helped bust a prostitution ring. In 1987 Jennifer's father Bill returned to Salem and tried running Jennifer's life. Jennifer rebelled by becoming engaged to Frankie, however she broke the engagement when she learned of her mother and grandmothers mental problems. Thinking she'd develop the same problems and pass it on to her own children. They reunited briefly, but Eve who had a crush on Frankie, spilled the beans about an affair Frankie had while separated from Jennifer.

In 1989, Jennifer befriended Sally, a pregnant homeless girl who got herself arrested so she wouldn't have her baby on the streets. But the officials wouldn't let Sally keep her baby once it was born. Jack pretended to be Jennifer's husband and they offered the child Hannah a foster home. Jack soon fell in love with Jennifer but Emilio soon came to town. Although Emilio pulled away from Jennifer when she was threatened by the gang Emilio once belonged to. Jennifer soon found herself torn between Emilio and Jack. When Jack hid his feelings for Jennifer, she then became engaged to Emilio. Desperate to keep Jennifer from marrying Emilio, Jack kidnapped her on her wedding day. When Jennifer escaped, she fell off a cliff and was knocked unconscious, Jack finally poured his heart out to her. Later, Jack became insecure about his feelings for Jennifer so she returned to Emilio. However during the Cruise Of Deception Jack saved Jennifer's life and they made love for the first time.

Later Lawrence Alamain came to town. Jennifer realized that Lawrence thought she was Katerina, the heiress to the Von Leuschner fortune, due to a confusion going back to when the real heiress (Carly Manning) and Jennifer were teenagers and they had switched dates. After a hurried wedding, Lawrence raped Jennifer. Jack arrived to rescue Jennifer. Jack and Jennifer became engaged but he called off the wedding because he felt alienated from her. Jennifer was still unable to handle intimacy and too ashamed to tell Jack that Lawrence had raped her. Jack then married Eve to help her get her hands on her $10 million inheritance.

Jennifer pressed rape charges against Lawrence. Kimberly and Jack were able to record him confessing to the rape and Lawrence was then sent to jail. Eve reluctantly granted Jack a divorce and Jack and Jennifer were married. However soon a swindler named Hawk soon cheated them out of their money. He was caught, but the couple remained penniless. Jennifer then learned she was pregnant, however Jack's joy was not great. He thought he was suffering a relapse of Hodgkin's disease. Though he wasn't Jennifer went to New York to do a TV show with Calliope. Jennifer gave birth later that year to a daughter Abigail Johanna.

The following year, Abigail was diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia. Jennifer teamed up with Austin Reed to find the environmental cause of Abigail's illness. It was soon revealed that Jack was the one who had allowed the toxic waste dumping and was responsible for Abigail's illness. Overwhelmed with guilt he left Salem, and Jennifer behind.

Jennifer began dating Peter Blake awhile after Jack left town. Peter was involved with drug trafficking at the time. Jennifer's mother Laura saw Peter with a lowlife by the name of Leo and Peter schemed to make it appear as if Laura was having a mental relapse. Jack returned to Salem and spied on his ex-wife and her current love.

Jennifer began to try to find a man named Clarke who her mom had feelings for. It turned out that Clark was actually Jack. Jennifer was devastated and went through with her marriage to Peter. Jack tried continuously to prove that Peter was devious but to no avail.

A year later, Jennifer and Peter separated when she found out he had lied to her. Jack caught Peter with a syringe meant for Jennifer so that Peter could drug her and then take her and Abigail out of the country. Jack ended up shooting Peter and it looked like Peter had died. (Stefano switched Peter's alive body with the dead body of an old associate wearing a Peter mask.)

Jack was sentenced to serving life in prison for the death of Peter and Jennifer vowed her eternal love for Jack every day. Jack broke out of jail and took Jen with him to evade police. They all were on the run for a while, until they joined up with a circus. Jack became a laborer, Jen the assistant, and Abby, their daughter. Abby struck up a good friend in the ringmaster's son. Eventually, Jack and Jennifer fled for Africa.

While in Africa, Jennifer and Jack experienced some problems with their relationship, especially when Jennifer fell for a young man named Colin Murphy...whom she didn't realise was Shawn Brady's nephew! She fled to Ireland with Abby, where she ended up getting herself in trouble, and then had to come back to Salem with Bo. Jack soon followed her, and the two moved in together so they could look after Abigail. Jennifer initially pushed Jack away, and concentrated on relationships with first Brandon then Colin, but she and Jack couldn't resist that certain something that had always been between them. They were remarried, much to the delight of their daughter Abby.

Jack and Jennifer were just beginning to enjoy their married life together again, and to enjoy hosting In the House, a show that was one of Jennifer's father Bill's wedding gifts to her and Jack. Then Jennifer was dealt the harshest blow of her life when Jack was struck down in an alley behind Salem Place by the Salem Stalker, and Jennifer was forced to make the choice of taking him off life support and donating his organs. Abby was unable to forgive her mother until Jennifer realised she was pregnant, but tragedy struck again when Jennifer learned that her baby would have serious mental and physical deformities, and Lexie advised her to terminate.

Desperate to hold on to the last part of Jack she would ever have, Jennifer refused to terminate her pregnancy. With the help of her new tenant and friend, Patrick Lockhart, Jennifer began looking forward to a new life with Abby and the baby. When she was nearly full term, Jennifer got a message on her computer supposedly from Jack, and took off to find him. She was picked up by a pilot who was to take her to the island of Melaswen. Unfortunately the plane crashed, and Jennifer ended up in the jungle. She was thrilled when she reunited with Jack, and together the two began planning a future for Jack Patrick Jr. (who was delivered by Patrick), but when they tried to return to Salem, Jack was presumed dead on the return voyage. Jennifer tried to move on with her life, but found it difficult because Abby could not forgive Jennifer for Jack's death.

Jennifer was almost preparing to move on when a miracle occurred and Jack was back home for real. Together, Jack and Jennifer worked on rebuilding their family, which was complete now that Abby was getting along much better with her mother.

Jennifer is now preparing for the death of Jack. he has been diagnosed with a fatal disease that will take his life in a short amount of time.

JULIE OLSON WILLIAMS

Julie is the daughter, and youngest child, of Addie and Ben Olson. Julie's only brother is Steven Olson. Julie was a rebellious teenager who lived with her grandparents Tom and Alice when her parents moved to Europe. Julie had planned on eloping with David Martin, but backed out after talking to Tom about it. Later Julie went after David while he was married to her best friend Susan, always hopefully he would leave Susan one day and marry her. However, that dream was shattered in 1967 when David was killed by his wife Susan, who blamed him for the death of their son. To make things worse, during the trial of Susan Martin Julie was exposed as being pregnant with David Martin's child. Julie would eventually give birth to her child, who she named David, and following her Grandfather's advice she gave the child up for adoption.

Little David would be adopted by Scott and Janet Banning, who named him Brad and all three would move to Salem. After Janet Banning died Julie's ex-best friend Susan began to move in on Scott and grew found of his adopted son. Eventually Julie would learn that the boy Scott and Janet were adopting was her little David, so she sued for custody of him and won. She allowed Scott visitation rights to see little David, and eventually the two married in 1969.

In December of 1970 Julie met Doug Williams, who at the time was being payed by Susan Martin to have an affair with Julie. Julie fell in love with Doug, and Doug with Julie. In 1970 Doug and Julie would eventually make love at Doug's apartment.

Julie would stay married to Scott Banning and continue to see Doug, but in 1972 Julie began legal preparations to divorce Scott. In 1972 Julie and Doug planned a getaway to Portofino, but the night they were to leave they had a fight over whether not Julie would bring her son David with her. Julie walked out on Doug, and in turn he married Julie's mother Addie on the spur of the moment. After learning of the marriage Julie became depressed, and ultimately stopped divorce preceding and remained married to Scott Banning.

In 1973 Julie's husband was killed in a construction accident while working for Anderson Manufacturing. Phyllis and Bob Anderson felt guilty and offered Julie a house to live in, and financial support. Julie would be dealt another blow when she learned her mother Addie and Doug were expecting a child.

In 1974 Julie became engaged to Don Craig, however she broke it of when she learned her mother Addie was dying, and their may be a chance for her and Doug after all. Julie and Doug stayed by Addie's side, who had finally slipped into a coma. On December 24 1974 Hope Williams was born. Addie came out of her coma and made Julie promise to care for the baby and Doug, however Addie would soon go into remission. Julie would then turn to a recently divorced Bob Anderson, and they married in late 1974. Phyllis felt betrayed by Julie, and in an attempt to murder her she accidentally shot her own daughter Mary.

Julie's marriage to Bob Anderson wasn't up to par with the exciting life she was living, and by 1975 Julie decided to leave Bob Anderson. Julie was pregnant with Bob's child when she decided to divorce him. Julie thought she might have a chance with Doug, but Doug knew she was with child and told her he didn't love her and to return to Bob.

Julie moved into Doug's guest room, and eventually began to rebuild her relationship with her son David. However David's girlfriend Brooke grew jealous of their relationships and began spreading lies that Julie was pregnant with Doug's child and not Bob's. Brooke's lies worked, and David became disgusted with his mother. After having a huge argument with Julie, David took Doug's car and speed off, eventually driving off of a bridge. When no body was found David was pronounced dead, and a memorial service was held for him.

Near the end of 1975 Julie would receive news from Paul Grant that David was alive and staying with his family. Julie was in such a rush to see David she tripped down some stairs and suffered a miscarriage (the baby was thought of as Robert Anderson, Jr).

In 1976 Julie divorced Bob Anderson and reunited with Doug and they became engaged. Shortly after Kim Douglas showed up in Salem claiming to the legal wife of Brent Douglas, Doug's real name. After a few months Kim eventually revealed that she and Doug had been divorced for many years and Julie and Doug married in 1976.

In 1977 Doug fell on hard times when he lost his liquor license and eventually the club. Julie bought back the club and turned it into Doug's Coffee House, but Doug was forced to leave Salem for awhile to take care of business elsewhere. During his absence Julie faced problems with the club staff, and Larry Atwood was there to help her through it. Julie was not aware of it, but Larry had set Doug up in a dope bust to keep him out of Salem while her went after Julie.

In 1978 Larry Atwood would succeed in his plan and raped Julie. Julie was traumatized by the event and pulled away from everyone, including Doug. Doug felt Julie had turned his back on him because of the drug bust, but when Doug received a letter form Jeri Clayton accusing Julie of having an affair with Larry he believed it. Julie eventually told Doug about the rape, and soon after Larry was found dead. Julie would stand trial for his death, and during the trial Julie's rape was made public. Eventually Larry Atwood's assistant Arlo Roberts admitted to killing Larry and Julie was cleared.

Later that year Julie met her brother while vacationing in Paris and brought him home to work at Doug's Coffee House, and later at her own antique store she opened. At both businesses Steven cheated and stole from his sister Julie.

In 1979 Julie was badly burned by Maggie's oven when it blew up in her face. When Julie saw what her appearance was she was sure that Doug would no longer want her as his wife. When a reconstructive operation failed Julie went to Mexico and got a divorce behind Doug's back. Julie began dating her doctor Jordan Barr, and later that year when she underwent surgery again the operation was a success. Julie felt she could pick up her marriage with Doug again, but was soon found out that Doug had married Lee Dumonde in her absence.

In 1980 Doug realized his marriage was a mistake, and wanted to return to Julie. Lee wouldn't allow that and attempted to have Julie killed. Julie was shot, but managed to survive. Lee then tried to fake a suicide by overdosing. Lee accidentally mixed the wrong pills and suffered a stroke which left her paralyzed. Lee's plan worked, and Doug told Julie he couldn't leave Lee while she was paralyzed.

In 1981 the man who tried to murder Julie for Lee Dumonde returned after having plastic surgery and he called himself Brad. When Brad tried to kill Julie, Lee Dumonde managed to knock him down, but was knocked unconscious. Julie was shocked because everyone believed Lee was paralyzed. As Brad went to kill Julie Lee woke up and shot him dead. Lee was put into Bayview Sanitarium afterwards, and Julie and Doug resumed their relationship.

After divorcing Lee Dumonde in 1981, Julie and Doug were married again. However, Lee managed to turn little Hope against her father and Julie, and she refused to live with them, instead choosing to live with Tom and Alice Horton.

In 1982 Julie and Doug became involved in an adventure involving titanium deposits. A set of geological maps showed titanium deposits underneath Doug's place, and both Stefano and Stuart Whyland wanted to get their hands on the. Stefano and Tony had constructed a tunnel from the DiMera Mansion to the wine cellar of Doug's place in order to get the deposits, but in the end the entire titanium deposits ended up being a hoax.

When Renee DiMera was killed, David was the first suspect, prompting Julie to confess. They were both cleared, but Julie lost her son when he left Salem. In 1986 Julie and Doug divorced once again, and both left Salem. Julie returned to Salem in 1990 and was determined to bring down Victor Kiriakis. Julie had a battle with Nick over his nightclub Wings. Though Nick bought the club, Julie still owned the land it was on and was a constant nuisance to Nick.

Still without the diary of his late wife Loretta, Ernesto planned a cruise in which he plotted to pay back all his enemies and recover the diary. Ernesto invited Roman II/John Black, Isabella, Victor Kiriakis, Julie Willaims, Jack Deveraux, Jennifer Horton, and Bo and Hope Brady. Onboard the ship, Ernesto was reunited with his daughter Isabella. Their host was a mystery to all but Victor, who knew Ernesto well. Deciding that the truth had to be known, Jack returned the missing pages of Ernesto's diary to Isabella. Isabella learned that she was Victor's child. Isabella told this to her father and then confessed to killing Marina. Ernesto claimed he did not love her any less, but secretly he despised her and felt she truly was the daughter of Kiriakis. Ernesto escaped his ship with Isabella and fled to a nearby Island. There he held Isabella prisoner and slowly poisoned her as he had done to her mother. A bomb exploded aboard the cruise ship and miraculously the passengers found their way to the island. On the island, Jack and Jennifer made love. Roman II/John Black sought to find Isabella because he knew she would be in grave danger. John and Bo set out to search the island and Hope followed Bo against his wishes. John made it to Toscano's house and rescued Isabella. However, Ernesto had captured Hope and was holding her prison. Everyone was lured to a cave where Ernesto held Hope with him in a cage that suspended a vat of acid. Ernesto offered Bo the chance to save Hope if he could convince him that she should be spared. Bo made a moving speech to Hope, but it failed to move Ernesto. Suddenly and explosion occurred which sent the cage crashing down into the vat of acid. Both Ernesto and Hope vanished and were declared dead after hours of searching the island. Shane eventually arrived and everyone was escorted back to Salem.

In late 1990, Julie's partner Nick was murdered. In Nick's will he left the club to Julie and his money to Eve Donovan. However, Eve was not allowed to have the money until she was married. Eve eventually married Jack Deveraux to get her fortune.

In 1991, Julie befriended Molly Brinker and allowed her to stay at her penthouse. Julie also gave Molly a job working at Wings.

In 1992, Julie was nearly killed after a bomb planted at a museaum party by Raffi Torres exploded. Julie was caught in the blast, but lived after a life saving procedure was performed by Dr. Chip Lakin, who she later dated.

In 1993, Julie left Salem and would later return for special events. Julie also re-married Doug. Since then, Julie and Doug have been seen only as needed.

Julie and Doug came back to town for a visit in 2004 and were soon enmeshed in the serial killer storyline. Julie was devastated when Doug was killed by the serial killer, and began focussing herself on helping Mickey get over Maggie while keeping him from his avaricious housekeeper Bonnie. Unfortunately, she couldn't keep the two from running off to get married. When Doug turned up alive and well Julie was in seventh heaven, and now she and Doug are trying to help Maggie get Mickey back. It's made all the harder because Mickey is now legally married to Bonnie.

One day Mickey Horton, under the name Marty Hanson stumbled into her farm house desperate for food and water, and soon collapsed. Maggie, who was lonesome for company, took Mickey in and cared for him in his weak condition.

Maggie and "Marty" continued to live on the farm, and in 1974 "Marty and Maggie" were married. Marty began reading about a treatment for injuries such as Maggie's being done at Salem University Hospital, and set up an appointment for Maggie to be checked out. However, when Maggie went to the hospital she saw on one of the desks she saw a picture of Mickey without a beard, and she heard stories about a patient named Mickey Horton who disappeared the time that "Marty" appeared at her farm. Maggie left the hospital and did not return or tell Marty what she learned. Later the Hortons would eventually be led to the farm after seeing Mickey's picture in a newspaper. Determined to stay married to Mickey, Maggie underwent the operation to regain the use of her legs in hopes it would help her hold onto Mickey.

In 1975 Maggie was operated on by Bill Horton, but she still could not walk. Laura Horton explained to her that her paralysis was no longer physical, but mental. Maggie was so afraid of losing Mickey that she was causing the paralysis in her mind.

After Mickey divorced Laura, Mickey and Maggie were married on Jan 25, 1975.

Later Linda Patterson would return to Salem with her daughter Melissa. Once she heard Mickey had no memory she tried to re-kindle her relationship with Mickey by convincing Mickey that Melissa was his child. However, Maggie had received a letter from Linda's husband warning her of Linda, and her plans were thwarted. Later (in 1976) when asked by Mickey if he could be Melissa's father Linda truthfully told him no, that Laura had told her he was sterile.

In 1976 Mickey was put into a Sanitarium after attempting to kill his brother Bill. Maggie stood by his side the whole time, and after spending a year in the sanitarium Mickey was released. Because Mickey and Maggie learned they would never have a child of their own because Mickey was sterile they adopted Janice Barnes.

In 1978 Janice was taken away from Mickey and Maggie by her natural mother Joanna Barnes. Janice was eventually found and returned to Mickey in Maggie, but Joanna took a job in Salem and stayed close to her daughter. This relationship took it's toll on Maggie, who began to drink heavily.

Later that year Maggie's drinking increased, and was arrested when she had an accident with Janice in her car, both were knocked unconscious and brought to the hospital.

Maggie joined alcoholics anonymous, but fell of the wagon when Janice's custody hearing grew close. When the possibility that Maggie may lose Janice to her natural mother Joanne, Maggie kidnapped Janice and fled town with her. She would eventually return to Salem after Tom Horton found her in a nearby town.

Later Janice would have an accident on the pier while playing with little Melissa. Janice fell into the water, and as a result slipped into a coma. Joanna Barnes and Maggie fought over her at the hospital, but in the end Joanna was given custody of her daughter.

In 1979 Maggie unknowingly sold some canes containing cocaine to costumers of Julie's shop. Later when a drug dealer came looking for them the two struggled and Maggie eventually shot him with his own gun.

In 1981 Maggie agreed to be a surrogate mother for an anonymous donner. Maggie went to Neil and agreed to be inseminated. Neil preformed the procedure, and Maggie soon became pregnant. Later that year Dr. Evan Whyland came to Salem, and Neil knew he was the anonymous donner of Maggie's. When Evan learned about this he began to call on Maggie often.

Mickey learned that the baby she was carrying was Evan Whyland's, and even when he told Maggie she wanted to keep the baby, so Mickey agreed to love it as it was his daughter. In late 1981 Sarah Horton was born, and after a custody battle with Evan Whyland, Mickey and Maggie won custody of Sarah. Later Mickey and Maggie also got custody of Melissa Anderson.

In 1982 Evan often payed visits to Maggie and little Sarah, and Stefano suspected Maggie knew of Evan's evidence against him and tried to have Maggie killed by tampering with the breaks in her car.

Mickey and Don began to investigate Stefano after Evan Whyland had died, and when Mickey got to close to Stefano, Stefano kidnapped Mickey but made it appear that he had died in a car crash. Don began to spend time with Maggie, and eventually fell in love with her. When Don finally told Maggie she was speechless.

In 1983 Maggie and Don eventually professed their love to one another, unfortunately Mickey Horton had escaped from Stefano and returned to Salem. When he saw his wife and Don tell each other they loved the other Mickey had a heart attack.

Maggie and Mickey divorced in 1983, and soon after Maggie stopped seeing Don, realizing her divorce from Mickey was a mistake. Mickey was accidentally shot during a gang rumble, and he recuperated at Maggie's house, and the two re-kindled their love. On February 14, 1986 Mickey and Maggie remarried in a double wedding with Melissa Anderson and Pete Jannings.

Maggie and Mickey's marriage was in trouble by 1990. Mickey was always at work and constantly let down Maggie and missed dinner dates and other important functions. Maggie ended up seeking solace in the arms of doctor Neil Curtis. Maggie's daughter, Sarah, caught Maggie and Neil and took pictures of them together in bed. Sarah was ready to expose them when Maggie and Neil revealed a shocking secret to her, Neil was Sarah's true father. Sarah still exposed them and the news devastated her adopted father, Mickey. Though Mickey was hurt, he felt he was partly to blame for Maggie's infidelity. Mickey and Maggie patched up their marriage and Dr. Neil Curtis left Salem.

When Julie Williams left Salem in 1993, Alice and Maggie Horton turned Wings into Alice's restaurant.

In 1993, Alice and Maggie Horton invested in Billie Reeds up and coming cosmetics company Countess Wilhelmina. Maggie had very little story after that, until she purchased Tuscany, and made herself into the town busybody.

In 2003, Mickey and Maggie were attacked in their home. Mickey survived, but unfortunately, the hit from the alcohol bottle and a deep stab wound ended Maggie's life. She was the third victim of the serial killer.

While Maggie was "dead" Mickey moved on and married his house keeper Bonnie Lockhart. Upon Maggie's return Mickey couldn't decide who to choose. Maggie didn't give up and fought for her man. In the end she won and her and Mickey are happily married... for now

BONNIE LOCKHART HORTON BIO...

Bonnie Lockhart is an attractive woman, a single mom to Mimi and her siblings since being abandoned by her husband. Bonnie is a smoker who's been trying to quit for years. She wears a nicotine patch, but lights up a few minutes after she puts it on. She is jealous of all the families in Salem whom she perceives as luckier than she is: the Bradys, the Hortons, the DiMeras. She speaks ill of them behind their backs, but lays on the charm when she's in their presence. Her relationship with her daughter Mimi is a loving one, although Mimi sees through her mom's victim act and is disapproving of her schemes.

Bonnie's always had plenty of ambition, but never any luck and she resents the hell out of it. She feels life is unfair to her and her children and she's always searching for a way to improve their lot, as long as it doesn't take a lot of effort on her part. She cleans houses for a living, but is always working on a get rich quick scheme. She will drive miles and miles to play Mega Power Ball, even if she doesn't have the money for gas. She has tried many a self-help seminar in hopes of a way to turn her life around, but never follows through. But this happy-go-lucky schemer never blames herself; she always has an excuse, always feels she's done everything right and it's life that is letting her down.

After pursuing Mickey Horton relentlessly, Bonnie was thrilled when she finally got him to propose. She hurried him to the altar, convinced that if she didn't they would never marry. As they returned back to the house after the wedding, they were greeted by Maggie, Mickey's first wife, back alive from the dead. But rather than feel threatened, Bonnie felt only confident. Because Maggie had been declared legally dead, her marriage to Mickey was null and void, so Bonnie was the only legal Mrs. Mickey Horton. The three live together in the house, but Bonnie is determined to be Mickey's only wife.

When her daughter Mimi came to her telling her she was pregnant, Bonnie encouraged her to get an abortion, telling her that having children too young would ruin her life (like she felt it had ruined hers), but when Mimi developed an infection after the abortion that rendered her infertile, Bonnie was devastated. Things went from bad to worse when Mimi was arrested for assaulting Jan Spears and sentenced to spend years in prison! Luckily Mimi was soon exonerated by a video showing she was nowhere near Jan at the time of the accident, but Bonnie didn't get much chance to enjoy her daughter's freedom before Mickey told her that he had decided to return to Maggie.

Bonnie didn't stay down long. She continues to run Alice's and seems to have set her sights on Roman Brady... for the moment.

ALEXANDRA (lexie) BROOKS CARVER BIO...

Lexie was adopted by her parents as a baby and didn't even realize she was adopted. Her aunt Frankie had always been in her life. Lexie came to Salem with high aspirations, and fell in love with Police Head Honcho Abraham Carver. They wed in April of 1989, and after spending some time in Chicago, came back to Salem. In the early nineties, Lexie began to have feelings for her husband's brother Jonah. Jonah started "cleaning up" the streets of Salem, all because Lexie had made a simple comment about how unsafe the streets were. When Lexie learned that Jonah was the Pacifier, she ended up being kicked off the police force for helping him. Although they were willing to reinstate her, by that time, Lexie had decided to give medical school a try. She fought her feelings for Jonah for a long time, and eventually things smoothed over in her marriage. Jonah moved on with Wendy, his girlfriend, and Lexie became settled into married life.

Lexie, with Abe, followed the rest of Salem to Aremid, a mysterious city where Stefano owned a house. She found out that she was adopted and went on a chase to find out who her real parents were. The resident village weirdo, The " Parrot Man," dropped random hints about her ancestry. Lexie was sure that Frankie/Celeste knew who her real parents were. Celeste lead her on a wild goose chase for as long as she could, even telling Lexie that her deceased parents lay dead in an Aremid cemetery. When Lexie went to the gravestones and read the dates, it said "her parents" had died a good one hundred years before she was born. Lexie continued to search for more clues. Finally, The Birdman gave in and revealed that Celeste was, in fact, Lexie's birth mother, but refused to name the father. The Birdman finally said Stefano was her father. She found out that Celeste had given birth to Stefano DiMera's child after they had become involved. Not wanting " the DiMera Curse" to control her daughter, she gave her up to the loving parents Lexie grew up knowing, who just happened to be Celeste's sister and her husband.

Abe and Lexie went back to trying to have children, a dream they had been working on for years. For awhile there, Lexie even thought she was pregnant, but it turned out not be be. Having lost her job as a police officer over the vigilante issue, Lexie had turned to medicine, and was a resident at University Hospital. She was slowly getting closer to both of her parents, but when Vivian needed to convince Stefano that she was dying, Lexie initially went along with it, until her conscience started to eat away at her. Abe and Lexie finally gave up on having children of their own, and decided to adopt. Stefano talked them into adopting the child of Rolf's niece Margo, but he had a plan of his own...he switched Margo's baby with Hope's baby at birth, and the child that Abe and Lexie named Isaac and took home with them was in reality the Brady baby. For months Lexie and Abe were in blissful ignorance. They had the baby they had always wanted, and he was a beautiful, healthy baby.

Lexie eventually realised the truth, but by then, she couldn't bear the thought of giving up the little boy she had been raising. When Abe would not help her, she left Harmony with the boy, and it was during that time that Abe relinquished custody to Hope and Bo. Once Lexie was returned to Salem, she was forced to return the child, and left with no baby, as Margo's former lover Glen had come to town and reclaimed the child Bo and Hope had been raising. Lexie was prohibited to have any contact with the little boy who thought of her as a mother, but she couldn't stop herself from going to his christening, where she knew Rolf was going to try something. At the same time, it seemed her marriage to Abe was over forever, and Lexie had a one-night stand with Brandon Walker. She was finally able to accept that she lost Isaac (now known as Zack) when she learned she was pregnant. The only problem? She didn't know who the father was!

Throughout her pregnancy, Lexie never told Abe that Brandon was a possible father, and Abe was overjoyed to find out that he was about to be a father at his age. After a fairly easy pregnancy, Lexie prepared to give birth to a baby whose father's identity was still up in the air...on-air paternity tests had said Abe was the father, but Sami had switched the results. Only hours after giving birth to her son, Lexie was confronted in the hospital by an angry Brandon Walker and his scheming new wife, Sami. Brandon demanded to know if the child was truly his. Lexie shocked everyone there by saying that she planted the test result that said Brandon was the father, knowing she could use it to prove Sami was lying and manipulating, and that in reality, the baby belonged to Abe all along. Brandon was saddened to lose a possible child, but thrilled to learn that he had a little half-brother (this was the same day that Brandon revealed he was Abe's son from a long-standing affair with Fay Walker).

With their son Theo in their arms, Abe and Lexie felt their family was finally complete. They made preparations for little Theo's christening. Lexie waited at the Church for Abe, but tragically, he was never to get there. Abe was shot on the pathway in front of his home by the Salem Stalker, and despite the best attempts of the staff at Salem University Hospital, Abe died only hours after being found, leaving Lexie and Theo to go on alone. Although devastated, Lexie was soon thrown into the lives of her friends and family as the Salem Stalker began killing others in town. It was Lexie who was the one to comfort Jennifer when Jack was killed only weeks after Abe, and Lexie who had to be the one to tell Mickey Horton that his beloved Maggie had passed away. She was also the one who had to give Jennifer Deveraux the devastating news that it looked like the baby she was carrying would be born with serious defects.

While grieving for Abe, Lexie began to open her heart up to ISA officer turned cop Tek Kramer, who had been there for her constantly since Abe died. She was finally beginning to move on when the shocking news came that the dead might not be dead after all. Not only was Lexie horrified that Abe might be alive and she was moving on with her own, but the thought that she had mis-pronounced the deaths of her friends and family (Tony was one of the stalker victims) was one that stayed with her no matter how she tried to forget it. When it was proven that they were all alive and well, Lexie was thrilled to have Abe back with her and Theo, although she felt slightly guilty about the feelings she had been developing for Tek. Her happiness was almost short-lived after learning Abe was having serious vision problems. When her step-son (and former lover) Brandon Walker came back into town, Lexie was determined to stop him from getting involved with Sami Brady again. Although she tried, nothing she did worked. Brandon was still just as in love with Sami as ever, but determined not to interfere in her new happiness with Lucas.

After Brandon left town, Lexie focussed on her marriage to Abe, but Abe's blindness and impotence was causing problems between them. Abe was having trouble adjusting to his new life, and he and Lexie fought a lot, Lexie often reduced to tears. Tek was there for Lexie when she needed a shoulder to cry on, and the two ended up having sex in her office.

CAROLINE BRADY BIO...

The true love of Caroline Brady's life was her husband Shawn, with whom she had three children, Roman, Kimberly, and Kayla, and in later years, they also took in Frankie and Max. When Kayla was a child, Caroline had a brief affair with Victor Kiriakis, which produced their son Bo, whom Caroline always pretended was Shawn Brady's son. She and Shawn had shown up in Salem to enjoy the relationship between their son Roman and his new wife Marlena. Once Victor realised Caroline was in Salem, he began a campaign to try to get her back in his life, but her heart lay with Shawn. When she wouldn't come back to him, Victor began seducing Kimberly. After Victor deliberately tried to sabotage the Brady Fishmarket by opening one of his own and fought Kim for custody, Caroline argued with Victor, and when Bo nearly shot Victor, Caroline blurted out the unthinkable truth...that Bo was Victor's son!

Caroline couldn't take that Victor was Bo's father and also fighting Kimberly for custody of her son Andrew, and tried to shoot him one night. After seeing that, Bo made Victor a deal...if Victor would leave his family alone, he would be his son. For a long time, that made Victor happy, except that it made Bo so horribly unhappy. When Bo came to Caroline, announcing that he couldn't be Victor's son because Victor had a vasectomy in 1963, Caroline confronted Victor, who stuck to his story. He wanted Bo to have a happy life.

More than anything, Caroline has always been a good and loving mother, and it was only natural that, when Kayla was accused of murdering Marina Toscano, that Caroline tried to take the fall for her daughter. Unfortunately it didn't work, as Kayla ended up in jail, where she gave birth to her daughter Stephanie, although she was later exonerated. Later that year, Caroline and Shawn met the new doctor in town, Carly Manning. A lovely woman, but unfortunately, her ties to Victor brought up too many bad memories for the Brady family, They are able to put that behind them, though, when Bo finds comfort in Carly after Hope's death.

When Shawn and Caroline took a much needed vacation and visited their daughter Kim in California, they never anticipated that this would result in her returning to Salem and facing off with newly widowed Kayla, who was getting romantically involved with Kim's ex-husband, Shane Donovan. Caroline was equally horrified when Kimberly got herself involved with Lawrence. She tried to talk to Kim, to tell her that Lawrence was just like Victor, but Kim wouldn't listen. Luckily Kim later figured out Lawrence for herself.

All the stress over the years had been hard on Caroline's heart, and she had a heart attack shortly after her granddaughter Sami came back to Salem from Colorado. While in the hospital Caroline nearly died when Vivian (who was trying to ruin Carly) would have killed her. Luckily for all the Brady's, Caroline was alright. It was heartbreaking for the entire Brady family when Marlena, whom they had taken in like one of their own, was discovered to not only have been cheating on Roman with John Black, but little baby Belle, whom they all loved, wasn't really a Brady after all. For a long time, Caroline wasn't comfortable around John or Marlena. Caroline was able to put aside her pain at John and Marlena's betrayal, and soon was just as close to them as before. When Marlena was possessed by Satan, Caroline was there for both her and John to help bring Marlena back to herself.

Caroline has always been the rock that held her family together, and it was her love and her faith that held Sami together when she was arrested and charged with Franco Kelly's murder. She continued to support her granddaughter once released, even when Sami seemed to turn on her. Oftentimes Caroline and Shawn's home turned into a safe haven for Sami and Lucas' young son, Will. Will even had dreams of moving in with his grandparents when Caroline Brady's prints were found on the bottle used to attack Maggie Horton. Although her family and friends surrounded her, not willing to risk losing her to the Salem serial killer, Caroline was poisoned by the Salem Stalker the day of Abe, Jack, and Maggie's wake, and died while she was in the Church, praying. Her death left the entire Brady family devastated.

Amazingly, Caroline and all the other victims were alive being kept on the mysterious Melaswen. She was thrilled to be reunited with her sons, but when she was again presumed dead after an escape attempt, her family was doubly devastated. Unbeknownest to them, she is alive and well being held captive by Tony DiMera, with Victor Kiriakis as her only nearby friend. Victor and Caroline were the last to be rescued. Upon arriving home in Salem their lives seem to have picked up where they left off. Caroline with her loving husband Shawn Brady sr and Victor at the helm of Titan. Atleast for now...
