Synopsis of the ballet:
A lovely young girl returns from her first dance -- holding a rose
(reminding her of her wonderful dancing partner).
She dances with the rose in her hands, and then falls onto a chair to
dream.  The rose falls to the floor.

Part Two:  The Spirit (Spectre) of the Rose enters through the window
and dances alone.

Part Three:  The Spectre gently takes the sleeping girl to dance with him
as she dreams, then places her back onto the chair to dream on.

Part Four:  The Spectre dances wildly for joy and exits as he entered,
through the window.
The rose is left on the floor.
The young girl wakes from her dreams, looks for her rose, and finds
only petals remain.
