I am primarily a Searcher and a passionate, plural Traveler, interested in all subjects related to anthropology, culture, ancient wisdom and magic. Inside me many women coexist: the modern collection -- a journalist, a teacher, a writer, a photographer, an anthropologist and a researcher; and the ancient collection -- a yogini, a gyspsy, an oriental dancer, a nomad. My passions in life are travels, Yoga, shamanism, spirituality, magic, Nature, Brazil, Indigenous peoples, words and images. My heart lives in the Yoga and so my devotion for the ancient Masters. In Yoga I feel beautiful, grateful, humble, magical, powerful, compassionate, unbound by time and beyond the limitations of the physical. In Yoga I feel the expansion of the consciousness and the soul. In Shamanism I receive the company, blessings and teachings of the ancient cultures and their Spirits. In Shamanism I learn to understand Nature and that all forms of life are connected, all have something really important to teach us. I have been working as a journalist, translator and teacher for 27 years. I hold a degree in Journalism from Brazil, an M.A. in Anthropology from California, USA. I began practicing yoga as a child, but stopped many times until 98, when I was introduced to Vinyasa Flow and got hooked again for life. I started teaching in Ireland in 2003 at my private studio, the Nataraja Yoga Centre. I also taught dance and movement sponsored by the Kerry Education Council and taught yoga to autistic children at the Siveen Care Centre. I hold a Yoga Teacher Certificate from the Integrative Yoga Therapy Institute, USA, from its Brazilian branch (with all my love and gratitude to teachers Joseph and Lilian Le Page -- check their amazing work at www.enchantedmountainbrazil.com). I am a Registered Teacher at Yoga Alliance, the United States' governing body for yoga. Since then I have been doing workshops with many wonderful teachers around the world. I was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and for the last 15 years my family (husband and three boys) has been wondering around Rio, United States and Ireland. I have traveled to North and South America, Europe and Asia, but still have a lot of land to cover in this lifetime! Currently I divide my time between Dublin and Rio, teaching yoga and publishing texts and pictures in numerous publications and journals.
