1. No junk characters. (All junk will be deleted.)
2. No spamming or foul language.
3. No alt interaction (The game already prevents most of this, by itself.)
4. No abusing of bug, all bugs must be reported.
This document shall herefore be the official rules of HiddenWorld. Whenever this document and any other list of rules disagree, this document shall be considered correct. Any modification, addition or deletion of the rules, by the Knights, shall be reflected in this document and shall not be considered to be in effect until it is in this document.
Understand, however, that the Knights have a certain amount of discretion in matters pertaining to the game. If the decision of a Knight runs counter to this document, it shall be considered invalid and shall be reversed by the first Knight to become aware of the situation. If the decision of a Knight has no precedent in this document, it shall be considered valid until:
1. It is made into and official rule by the knights.
2. It is reversed at the discretion of at least 2 other Knights, at which time it will go up for consideration as a rule.

Language and Behavior
1. No foul language of any kind.
2. No cyber-sex. This includes conversations that have the feel of cyber-sex but not the language that would make it fall under rule 1. This is at the discretion of the individual Knight viewing the activity.
3. No harassing the other players. Good natured bantering is fine, but if it is too frequent or the other player is bothered by it, it will have to stop.
4. No negative commentary about the real person playing the character will be tolerated. This is at the discretion of the Knight viewing the activity.
5. No advertisement or spamming of other RPG games in the inn or palace. This includes the typing of the other game's URL and trying to persuade people to go there.
First offense shall receive a warning.
Second offense shall be banned for 3days.
Fourth offense shall be banned until your character is deleted due to inactivity.
Multiple Characters
6. No junk characters are allowed.
Any character with an offensive name or a random string of characters as a name will be banned immediately without warning or question.
7. One person is allowed to have no more than two characters. These characters may NOT interact (ex. You cannot be on the same team as your alternate character, nor may you kill one character with the other. You also may not buy tickets from your alternate character's lottery.)
If a player is found to have more than two characters, he/she will be informed that they must pick one character and suicide the rest. Failure to comply within two days of being informed will result in all of their characters being banned until they have chosen the one to keep.
Forest Fights/Teammates
8. You are not allowed to be on a team with another character that is more than two levels above or below you. If you find yourself in this situation, either you or they must leave the team.
If a team is in violation of this rule:
First offense shall be a warning to all members.
Second offense shall be a two day banning of each member that is in violation of the rule.
Third offense shall be disbanding of the team, causing a loss of all win/lose stats,and one week banning of the members in violation.
9. Gaining multiple levels in a day or one level on consecutive days, (i.e. 1 level today, 1 level tomorrow, etc). This is not possible without violating rule 8 and shall result in the character being banned until deletion.
10. You are allowed two ressurrections per day. Some characters may experience the ability to ressurect more than two times, however this is considered a bug, and should not be abused.
First offense: Warning
Second offense: 3 day temporary ban
Third offense: Ban until deletion
Nobility and Privileged guest
(this section will require modification after total reset)
10. No one shall be granted the status of Privileged Guest until at least level
11. However, expect to be denied if you do not give a good reason. This honor is given out only at Knights discretion
12. No one shall be granted the status of Nobility until they have reached at least level 12. Even then, expect to be denied if you do not give a good reputation. See "Getting Nobility/PG" for instructions on obtaining this status.
Palace Chat
Palace chat is only available to Knights, Nobles, Privileged Guests and of course The King.
13. Palace chat is for the discussion of important topics. General chat is not permitted here and should be kept to the Inn chat.
First offense shall be a warning
Second and Third offense shall be one then two days banning,Fourth offense shall be removal of Status and one week banning.
Mayors & TC
14. Mayors & TC are elected by the people. If a mayor is corrupt, it is not the responsibility of the knights to punish him/her. Just don't re-elect them. The only case in which the knights will take action against a mayor is if he or she changes the number of forest fights to anything besides 20.
The Knights
The Knights are essentially the administrators of the game. They have been appointed by the game creators (Nick and John), and are here to help. If you have any questions they will almost always either answer them, or tell you where the information can be found. Please address any concerns that you may have to the Knights first. You can contact them either through the scribes house, or by e-mail (found in the town archives). Any issue beyond their control can be referred, by them, to Nick or John. You are always welcome to go to the creators directly, but try to only do so when absolutely necessary.
Remember they are usually busy trying to make the game's programming bug free and new features. Which benefits everyone. Remember also, this is a role playing game, the personality that a Knight displays while chatting in the Inn may not necessarily reflect the personality of the actual person. Even the evil ones are here to help.
15. Intentionally agitating the Knights, (i.e. sending messages like "You guys suck"), whether through the scribes house, either of the chats, or e-mail, shall cause you to be banned. The length of the ban will be at the Knights discretion.
