The three of them had decided to travel to Zook, a town known for pure evilness. Zook was a sizable town that was in the small providence if Icas. As they journeyed, they talked about previous battles where they had gone up against hordes of evil creatures and manage to fight to the top and win without ever getting a scratch on them. They joked about the time Tantalus had defeated the dragon with his bare hands because it had stolen Pelops from him. They talked on and on. They had eventually came to a topic of what the world would be like once they had defeated all of the evil from the world. This brought the conversation to a stop. The three traveled onward in silence pondering the thought of a perfect world.
Hours later they had reached their destination, Zook. No of them had ever been to this dreaded place. Although they had heard stories that some of the worst people lived in this town.
They could see dead trees lined the center street. They looked up and saw a scorched sky. Hinting that this place was pure evil. Ever the less they continued in not knowing who or what to expect.
As usual they went to the bar and to their surprise it was filled with orcs of all sizes. Not wanting to cause any trouble the left.
Outside of the bar everything looked different then it had before. Citadela turned around to see if they had exited the same door they had entered in, and sure enough they had.
Suddenly there in front of all of them stood Zagreus.
“Well, Well Tantalus. I hear you have been looking for me.” Zagreus said.
Tantalus put his hand on Pelops and Citadela did the same to Baruk. They figured that Zagreus had no chance with all three of them attacking him.
They slowly surrounded Zagreus. And began to enclose around him. All Zagreus did was laugh.
Suddenly hundreds of gryphons began diving toward the three warriors. Zagreus must have learned how to control the creatures. They ran to a small shelter where Melee Attacker was able to take out his bow and start shooting the gryphons.
While Melee Attacker was taking care of the gryphons Citadela and Tantalus ran out of the hut to take care of Zagreus once and for all.
Due to all the commotion outside the bar all of the orcs decided to see what was going on. Being evil themselves, there was no way that they would let these three people hurt Zagreus.
Orcs, being very fine marksmen with their bows began showering Citadela and Tantalus with arrows. Fortunately Melee Attacker saw this and quickly cast a shield spell upon the two so the arrows just zoomed pass them.
No it was all hand to hand combat. Tantalus charged toward an orc and sliced his head off with one clean sweep. Citadela was doing the same with his trusted axe.
Tantalus and Citadela were easily defeating the orcs. Meanwhile Melee Attacker finished off the gryphons and came to over to help them kill the orcs.
Tantalus turned his head just missing the arrow that was inches from his face. He turned around and saw that Melee Attacker was shot with the arrow directly through the heart. “ARRGGGG!!” Tantalus screamed and charged toward Zagreus. And thrust Pelops with all his might and hatred that he had built up for this one man, Zagreus.
Zagreus had done it again. He had vanished but this time with a reminder that Tantalus and his team were still after him, and now would be forever.
With one final swipe of Baruk, Citadela killed off the last of the orcs. He ran over to where Tantalus and Melee Attacker where at.
They tried everything they could to revive Melee Attacker but he had been killed. Melee Attacker would still help out the team, just in a different way.
Tantalus and Citadela decided to stay together through this hard time of losing out a member of their group. With the painful memories of Melee Attacker with the team Swordmasters of Ginaz they decided to rename themselves as The Heroes of Light.
The Heroes of Light will DEFEAT all evil from the land.
