Gaea Knight
My inspiration to be a musician started as a small child. When often I was feared lost, I would be discovered singing in the toilets: I really liked the acoustics! I wasn't really taught how to play anything, I just picked instruments up when I had the opportunity but I always loved to sing. I felt the spirit of the music move through me about 13 years ago when still at school and started to write songs but I yearned to play flute, drum and guitar. Nine years ago I met someone who awakened the spirit of music  within and before I knew it I was hearing my voice again. It was at this time that I met Chrissy and we encouraged each other to sing our own songs. The Rainbow centre in Kentish town was the first time we performed in public. It was the beginning of a productive and exciting exchange of exchange of harmonies and ideas, all based around helping and supporting each other and healing the Earth. We've played at various venues over the years, Glastonbury Festival, the Big Green Gathering, Buddha Field festival, Megatripolis in London and Sun Bloc Festival in Cornwall. The future is what we make it. Time to make or break it and  chant down Babylon!
