Hello and Welcome

My name is Tanveer amd I am from Chennai, India. My passion for fancy pigeons started at the age of 14. My very first pigeons were a pair of white Indian fantails. Later I kept lahores and capuchines. And as time passed I started adding other fancy breeds.At present I have Jacobins, Modenas, Helmets and Reversewing Pouters.

I had a good collection of fancy pigeons in my loft. They were Indian Fantail, Jacobin, King, Modena, Frillback, Scandroon, Swallow, Reversewing Pouter, English Pouter, Saxon Pouter, Norwich Cropper, Nun, Helmet, Capuchine, Shiraz, Carrier, Owl, Satinette. But in March 2004 my loft was affected with PMV virus and I almost lost all my birds. I've started procuring pigeons again and now the collection has increased.

In India there are very few fancy pigeon breeders and shows are not conducted because there are no clubs dedicated to fancy pigeons. With the help of this website and internet I have come across many avid pigeon fanciers across the world.
