*October 16, 1923: The Disney Brothers Studio is founded by Walter E. Disney and Roy O. Disney, after they have signed a contract with M.J. Winkler to produce the Alice Comedies.
*November 18, 1928: Mickey and Minnie Mouse make their debut in "Steamboat Willie", the first Disneyfeature with soundeffect and dialogue.
*December 16, 1929: The Disney Brothers Studio becomes: Walt Disney Production Ltd., Walt Disney Enterprices, Liled Realty and Investment Company and Disney Film Recording Company.
*September 5, 1930: Pluto debuts in "The Chain Gang".
*March 25, 1932: Goofy debuts in "Mickey's Revue".
*July 30, 1932: Fist full-color animated film"Flowers and Trees". Walt Disney receives his first Academy Award for this film.
*June 1, 1933: First Mickey Mouse-watch sold by Ingersoll.
*June 9, 1934: Donald Duck debuts in :The Wise Little Hen".
*December 21, 1937: Premiere of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Walt Disney's first full length animated feature ever. Also the start of Walt Disney's first merchandising program.
*September 29, 1938: Walt Disney Productions mergers with the three other companies.
*February 2, 1940: Pinocchio premieres
*April 2, 1940: Walt Disney Productions issues 155,000 shares of 6% cumultative convertible preferred stock in the over-the-counter market.
*May 6, 1940: Walt Disney Productions moves to the new studio in Burbank.
