The Fox and the Hound
"Classic as Pinocchio and warm as Bambi!"
Story: The young Copper, a baby Fox, is left by his mother, while she was chased by hunters. He was left outside the house of Widow Tweed who finds him and takes im into her home where he grows up. When Copper is a little older he meets Tod, a young hunting dog, who lives next to Widow Tweed. The two become good friends and play a lot in the forrest. And allthough Copper is chased by Mr. Slade, the hunter who owns Tod, they still are friends. Then Tod leaves for the winter. Big Mama tries to convince Copper that when Tod returns, he will be a hunting dog who will hunt for foxes like Copper. But Copper doesn't believe her.
When the spring arrives, Tod returns and is grown hunting dog. When Copper goes to meet him he is hunted by Mr. Slade and Tod must also hunt him down. A second dog, Chief,  belonging to Mr. Slade gets injured during this hunt and Tod blames Copper for it. Their friendship is gone.
Widow Tweed desides to set Copper free in the preserve so he can't be hunted Mr. Slade. There Copper falls in love with Vixey, a young fox like him. Their lives seem to be fine, untill Mr. Slade and Tod arrive to hunt them down. When the hunt begins, Copper and Vixey can hardly escape them. Then Mr. Slade and Tod encounter a bear. Tod saves Mr. Slade but the bear nearly kills him. Copper rescues him by luring the bear away. Together they fall of a waterfall. When Copper comes to shore, Mr. Slade points his gun at him. Tod jumps in front of the gun and thereby convincing Mr. Slade not to kill Copper. He doesn't shoot and they leave. Tod and Copper part, but their friendship is still there.
