How much freezer space do you need? That will depend on the number of entrees and side dishes that you have requested that I prepare for you. When I perform your assessment, I will look at the freezer and determine exactly how much space will be needed. Can you use my storage containers? Uniform-sized containers take less storage space in your freezer. I will bring the appropriate containers for the entrees I will be preparing on the first chosen cook date. There will be a small fee for the containers, and they are yours to keep. I do ask, however, that you wash them thoroughly and match the appropriate lid to the container and leave them in a pre-designated location. Do I pay ahead of each cooking date and how do I pay you? Yes. It is customary to pay for the service in advance of the cooking date. I accept cash and check only at this time. If you like, you may leave me a check for the upcoming cooking date on each cook date. How long will the food last and how long will it stay fresh? Depending on how many entrees you order and how many evenings you eat at home, we can determine approximately how long your meals will last. You must remember that I will be cooking with the freshest ingredients, so there are no preservatives in any of these entrees and they will begin to degrade sooner than a store-bought frozen entree. How often will I need your services? I will be happy to help you determine just how often you will want to schedule my Personal Chef service to best suit your needs. We will make sure it supports your lifestyle and schedule. Can having a Personal Chef help me lose weight? I am not a Registered Dietician, but I am able to consult with one if necessary. If your dietary requests are such that I need to consult the Dietician, there may be an additional charge for this service. I am familiar with diet plans such as low-sodium, low-fat, Weight Watchers, South Beach, Atkins, American Diabetes Association and American Heart Association. I am on a special diet for medical reasons. Can I still use a Personal Chef? Absolutely!! When we have our initial consultation, we will discuss your medical conditions as they relate to your diet. If, for example,you are on a diabetic diet, we will discuss your specific caloric and carbohydrate issues as they pertain to your entrees alone.
