The four found themselves herded into a huge, sand covered cavern soon after they had dismounted from Kerkael, and into the presence of two more of the huge dragons.

“These,” Selverat spoke loud enough for all of them to hear, “are the leaders of our clan. The white-green is Summoner Yikaeri’akel, and the ice blue is Sorcerer Revent’akel.”

The two dragons looked up as they approached, Revent with a somewhat considering look, while Yikaeri stretched her neck out to sniff lightly at the four.

“Potential candidates, ‘Rat?” Revent rumbled.

“Yes, but…”

Yikaeri piped up, “Not for here.”

Revent gave his mate a faintly confused look, as she stretched her wings wide and folded them once more, “And what do you mean by that, my mate?”

“I mean what I said,” she smiled a draconic smile, “There are places that have been sending out notes asking for candidates. I think I know where these four would fit in perfectly.”

“Please…” Fell spoke softly, huddling close to her brother, rather intimidated by the size of the dragons she faced, “No offense intended… but if I’m to bond, may I go someplace with smaller beings?”

Yikaeri nodded, “No offense taken. I believe there’s a new place that just opened up recently that want candidates… Fukeru Ukuure I think it’s called.”

Revent looked over the other three potentials, “Do any of the rest of you have preferences? No?” when none spoke, he nodded to himself, indicating each in turn, starting with Selesst, then Feres, and then Vaesai, “Then… Cy Dragonstake. Darkling Dawn. Lantessama.”

Selverat nodded when both leaders gave him a look, “Got it, I’ll get them placed there right away. C’mon you four.”

With that, he ushered all four of them off the sands, just as he had herded them onto it, and the two leaders went back to resting and guarding the eggs.

Fell shivered as they exited that... place... of clawing cold and faint evil that Selverat had called the Void. Luckily, where they ended up was easily warm enough to return her body heat to her swiftly.

She gazed at the place that they were descending towards, wondering what her future held in store for her...

Surely, though, it couldn't be bad. Not in a place like this...

Kerkael landed easily, and Selverat slid swiftly down his mount's side, "Come on, then, Fell. This is where we part ways for now." Smiling, he extended a hand and gestured for her to dismount as well.

Which she did, and, just like before, she was amply glad that he was there to catch her. Kerkael was just entirely -too- large for her tastes.

"This is Fukeru Ukuure, home of the Fedras. I believe you'll be quite satisfied with their size, little one," he grinned brightly, then indicated where she should go, "Just go through there and speak with a Finder, they'll direct you as to what to do exactly."

With that, he swiftly remounted his bond, then waited for her to back off enough before he gave the signal for Kerkael to fly...

Leaving her, alone and slightly nervous, to make her cautious way towards where he had indicated, wondering if it was really worth it to be completely and totally alone on a strange planet...

Their next stop was the tower of Cy Dragonstake, which was to be where Selesst bonded his own dragon.

He was feeling rather odd about all of this. Not once had he been given a true chance to sit back and think during this entire event, and now...

Somehow, he knew that there would be a wait stretching before him. But how long of one? And what, exactly, would he -do- while waiting?

Not only that... but he felt a strange reluctance to be split from Feres, deny it as he would.

Kerkael landed as smoothly as before, and just like before, Selverat dismounted first, then indicated that he should dismount as well. With a sigh, Selesst slid down, landing fairly easily on his own, without needing the rider's assistance.

"Cy Dragonstake," Selverat grinned brightly, almost as if -he- had called the place into existance, "Just talk with Headknight G'non, he'll get you set up as a candidate here." At Selesst's nod, Selverat remounted swiftly, Kerkael readying himself to take off once more.

As he walked away, he could feel dark eyes on his back, but forced himself to not acknowledge Feres again.

Feres felt as if he was being torn apart. He wanted to see what sort of dragon he would bond, but at the same time...

Did he really have to leave the other alone for such a potentially long period of time?

There was no one to answer his questions though, and no one that he dared voice them to in any case. Below him, Darkling Dawn drew closer swiftly, and he steeled himself for Kerkael's landing, but soon found that such precautions were unnecessary.

Before Selverat could dismount though, Feres dismounted on his own, looking up at the rider with a small smile, "Where should I go?"

"Just head into the Weyr, tell them that you're here to bond, you'll be sorted out quickly enough."

Feres nodded once, before walking off and into the Weyr, questions still chasing each other around and around his head.

She was the last one to have been named, and the last one to be placed. Vaesai watched as, one by one, the others were dropped off at their varying destinations, and wondered internally what they would all be like when they met up once again.

"Here you are, milady," Selverat smiled as he swung down once Kerkael had landed, then gestured for her to dismount as well, "Lantessama. Just go and talk with anyone, tell them that you're here to be a candidate."

She nodded as she slid down, not really needing his assistance, but accepting it anyway as she did, "Very well. My thanks to you, Selverat."

"It was nothing, milady Vaesai," he walked with her a few steps, before stopping and gesturing for her to continue on, "Until we meet again, milady."

Vaesai shook her head slightly in amusement, before continuing her walk. Selverat was a nice enough man, though she had known him only shortly, but perhaps he was just a tad bit too... formal with her.

She paused only once, and then for just a small second, to glance behind her as Kerkael rose up into the air once more, and then vanished.
