Thank You!
Thank You...
Thank You GOD...
My faith in you, as well as the faith of my family and friends, is what ultimately got us through this difficult time. Thank you for sparing my life and the life of my beautiful little girl.

My wonderful husband. Thank you for staying so strong  throughout everything. Thank you for understanding my pain and helping me through my recovery. Also, for helping support me while our newest little baby lie in an isolette fighting for her life. I love you...Always.

Because time was such a factor, Taylor and I wouldn't have made it if anyone else would have stopped. I know you are very modest about the contribution you made in our rescue, but you were the first in a long line of people that helped keep us here. Without you, the others wouldn't have mattered. For all that you have done, no matter how insignificant you may think it was, I hold a very special place in my heart for you and will be eternally grateful.

Without you, there would be no me. This had been a saying we have used throughout this ordeal, but it's true for you. You brought me into this world and have loved me no matter what. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect mother and grandmother for my children. You are forever giving, seeking nothing in return. On top of being such a good mother, you are a great friend. I love you. Thank you for all the sleepless nights you spent at my side, helping me recover and supporting both James and I during all of this.

for being my father for so many years. I can never tell you how much you mean to me and how lucky I am to have you. I am thankful for your medical expertise that has given me comfort so many times, both physical and mental. You were always there to tell me what was going on with Taylor or myself so I could understand it. Most people aren't able to choose who their father is going to be, but there again, I have been blessed with that ability. I couldn't have made a better choice. I love you very much.

for taking me into your family as if I was one of your own. Thank you for all of the help you gave James and I, with Kalin and Blake, and for everything you do for us. Thank you for loving my children so deeply.

for your quick response to the call for help.

for taking such good care of Blake and Kalin.

my sister in law, for coming to the aid of my children since I wasn't able to care for them. Thank you for comforting them and supporting then in such a difficult time after the accident. We all love you very much and it means a lot to us that you were able to be there.

who took care of both Taylor and myself. There are too many to list them all here. You know who you are. Without the enormous amount of skill and confidence of all the staff, we would not be here. Thank you for responding so quickly upon my arrival to the University of Kentucky Hospital.

Everyone was very familiar with Taylor. The minute anything changed, they knew it. I strongly believe the reason Taylor got over the NEC so quickly, without having surgery, was because everyone is so well trained and on top of everything. These doctors and nurses saved the life of our baby several times.

What can I say but YOU'RE THE BEST! You both have been such good friends to James and I. Whenever we need anything, you are always there. It really meant a lot that you came to visit me in the hospital and called or came to visit Taylor. When she got sick, you were right there to give your hugs and support. I love you both very much. You are the best friends anyone could ask for!

You have been my best friend through thick and thin. All of your calls and visits really helped me get through this. It's comforting to know that I'll always have you to depend on. I love you.

To all the countless others who offered warm thoughts and prayers. Thank you to all who put us on their church prayer lists. Thank you to the church members, especially Southland Christian Church, who were constantly stopping by to check on Taylor and to pray with us.

And to all the others who may have played a part in our recovery, no matter how indirect (like our neighbor Kevin who mowed our grass), THANK YOU!
