What your child will learn
in P. E.


Physical Fitness:
improve physical fitness in areas upper body strength, flexibility, cardiovascular endurance, agility, abdominal strength

Fundamental Movements:
fundamental movements in various traveling patterns, locomotor skills such as skipping, hopping, jumping, galloping, and walking, and perform balancing

Rhythmic Movements:
develop coordinated patterns varying shape, size, direction, levels, and speed, speed while manipulating an object, creative dance, perform locomotor and non-locomotor movements in a pattern, participate in circle, line, and popular dancing

Lead-up Skills and Games:
toss and catch a ball, kick a ball, bounce a ball, throw & catch an object, dribble, trap, pass, throw in modified games

Lifetime Sports and Activities:
participate in a variety of lifetime sports and activities

Alternative Activities:
jump ropes, scooters
