Choices and Consequences
We all make choices. The behavior plan in the music room is based upon those choices. We can choose to listen and participate. When we do, we learn the important music lesson of the day (and we have lots of fun). We can also choose to not listen, not participate and keep other people from doing their job. Because it is unfair to keep others from doing their job, we have planned consequences so that everyone can learn.
| Breaking a rule - 1st time | Sign the choice book - The student writes his/her name, the date and which rule he/she chose to break. |
| Breaking a rule- 2nd time | Time Out - The student signs the Time Out Book and completes an action plan. What will I do to fix the problem? |
| Breaking a rule - 3rd time | Opportunity Room - The student is removed from class and sent to the office. Another action plan is completed and a parent/guardian is contacted. |
| Students exhibiting dangerous or disrespectful behavior will be immediately removed from class. | |
