New Season, New Team
Another day closer to the highly anticipated 2003 season.  Some new faces will be on team Chauncy, as well as many new faces in the crowd.  "It looks to be a rowdy bunch, especially with the newly instated 6 drink minimum before each game.  I just hope there is no one foolish enough too say somethin' to the 1," new player/coach Pretty Tone.  PJ "Smalls" Runge has been hittin the weight room since his return from Ames.  Newcomer Ben "Killer B" Riessen will be starting the season at firstbase.  Returning to a new spot after a year's absence is Bill "E" Johnson.  He spent last season working on a new position and will fill in the second base spot.  The shortstop position is solid with the addition of the crafty veteran Dakota "Dsnuts" Einfeldt.  Brad "Bussta" Buss will be grabbin the three bag all season.  The outfield will have one returning veterean in Nick "Sim" Sim.  The other spots will be filled in by newcomers Ryan "Big Nips" Neumann, Carl "Crazy" Paulsen, Alex "Bean" Huston, Adam "2 Story Glory" Price, and Tad "Tadders" Lincoln.  The 1-2 Connection will be starting a third year of intoxicating fun.  Duane "Duance" Boeh has added seven new pitches to his repetoire as well as intense fielding training.  "There won't be any balls hit up the middle of the infield.  I'll be stabbin balls like they were el guapo.  Jefe!"  Tony "Pretty Tone" Neumann will be returning as the ton of fun behind the plate.  Also expected to make impacts during the season are Matt "Mookie" Price, Sean "Money" Miller, and Tim "the Colonel" Fredricksen.  The schedule will be out soon, so make your plans early as seating will be limited.  Also look for the Miller Lite nites at the Dugout, sponsored by TNizzle himself.  See you at the park.  This is Chauncy, signing off.
