Christian Stauffer
Born in Monaco and a citizen of Switzerland but living in various locations of Asia for the last 14 years, Christian comes from a background of Adventure Racing which he picked up as a way of keeping fit after long years spent in swimming during school days and martial arts in Europe and in Asia. He has completed a number of races in the region including the Action Asia Series 2006.

He became more serious about running while joining the MacRitchie Runners 25 running club in Singapore where he currently resides. Meeting the right guys to race with and the beautiful but tough conditions are the key motivations to attempt the Gobi race.
Steven Lim
Coming from a background of a sprinter during his school days, and subsequently as a middle-long distance runner, Steven has discovered running as a way of keeping fit and staying healthy. Since then, for the past seven years, Steven has been actively involved himself in many running and triathlon races around the region. He has completed two Ironman triathlons in Malaysia.

A current school teacher, he is also involved in coaching young children for cross country running. It is the adventure that lies in the roads less travelled, and the challenge of racing self-supported that kindles his heart to attempt this Gobi race. To be able to do something for charity and also the opportunity to see the world and make new friends are the key motivations for him.
Johnson-Dan-Jacob
Being employed by the world’s leading shipping line American President Lines for the last 10 years, Johnson was first introduced to endurance sports by his company’s recreation club in 2003. Within 6 months, Johnson did his first Ironman Triathlon in Malaysia. He has represented his company in many events and to date, he had completed five Ironman triathlon events in Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand and Korea.

Johnson has also represented Singapore in the Mount Kinabalu Climbathon 2007 in Sabah, which is known to be the toughest mountain race in the world. Participating in another endurance race for a good cause that brings smile to children is Johnson's motivation.
