6 hours of Portlan

T.C. Motorsports is already gearing up for the big season finale.

7/20/00

On October 14-15th, Cascade Sports Car Club will be hosting the annual "6 Hours of Portland" at Portland International Raceway.  This endurance race will test driver and machine to the limit as teams attempt to keep their race cars on track to take the checkered flag.

Much preperation is needed to accomplish this task.  A normal ICSCC race is 30 minutes long.  The endurance race will be 12 times longer.  Most driver stints will last between 1.5- 3 grueling hours.  Team strategy will play an imprortant role in keeping the cars on the track for as long as possible, comleting laps, before pulling into the pits for necessary fuel and maintainence stops.

Drama will be high as race cars pull into the pits and undertake driver changes, sheduled pit stops, refueling and repairs.

Come be a part of the excitment and join TCM in their efforts to complete this demanding event.
