These links are currently not working. I am checking into it
Girl Scouting in the 1920's and 30's
Girl Scouting in the 1960's and 70's
Girl Scouting in the 1980's and 90's
The above pages include pictures of uniforms from those eras. They were written for the Girl Scouts of Gulf Pines Council, so some of the history refers to parts of that council.
These pages were written by a Senior Girl Scout to be part of her Gold Award.

Doing Girl Scout History in Your Troop
This page refers to decade uniform boxes that are available to be borrowed from Girl Scouts of Hoosier Capitol Council. Our own GS of Tejas Council has "Traveling Trunks" that can be signed out. Each contains old uniforms and handbooks. There is also a "Time Capsule" with items and activities from Juliette Low's time. Please note that the Try-its, Badges and Interest Projects referred to on this site may no longer be available. Check your current handbook for updated requirements.

By the way, don't forget the Girl Scout Museum in the foyer of the Girl Scouts of Tejas Council Summerside building. There are uniforms, handbooks and lots of other things from all eras of Girl Scouts.
