You Can Find Some Pretty Cool DC Info If You Just Look Around

Okay, so you know that there are a lot of places on the Internet where you can find out what's going on in the wonderfully imaginative world of Dawson's Creek. But do you know the places where the news comes out first? Where all of us insane web site owners go to find out the latest scoops? If you don't, then I'm about to tell you.

One of the best places to go find out stuff is the Wanda Chat at E! Online. This chat goes on every Monday at 6pm Eastern. All you've got to do is sign-up for and E! Online membership (which is 100% free) and then you're set. And not only do you get to talk to the all knowing Wanda, but you will get to chat with her many celeberty guests as well (one of which has been Dawson's Creek's very own Josh Jackson. Also, Wanda has a column that she does every Friday (unless she is on a vvery rare vacation) and it is also quite informative.

The best Dawson's Creek news site on the Internet is Dawson's Creek Headlines. I know that I've said it before, but I can't tell you too many times in this case. This site gets EVERYTHING from scoops to articles to anything else you can imagine. It is updated constantly. Dawson's Creek Headlines is about the only reason I haven't had a nervous breakdown while waiting for new episodes of DC to start. If you are a true DC fan, you must go there.

The Official Dawson's Creek site is pretty darn good for an official site. But since this is an article about DC news sites, I'll tell you where you can find the best news on the site. Go to the main page and scroll down all the way to the bottom. You will see a place where you can sign up to be on a mailing list. This mailing list is really good. It sends you links to exclusive articles and interviews with the Dawson's Creek cast. Quite enjoyable.

The Columbia-Tristar Dawson's Creek Site really isn't that informative Date of Scoop: 8-9-98
A lot of the scoops on this page have been found at Dawson's Creek Headlines (probably the BEST Dawson's Creek scoops page on the net) and E! Online.

-I found the following summary for James Van Der Beek's new movie, "Varsity Blues", at the Internet Movie Database:

In small-town Texas, high school football is a religion. The head coach is deified, as long as the team is winning and 17-year-old schoolboys carry the hopes of an entire community onto the gridiron every Friday night. In his 35th year as head coach, Bud Kilmer (Jon Voight) is trying to lead his West Canaan Coyotes to their 23rd division title. When star quarterback Lance Harbor (Paul Walker) suffers an injury, the Coyotes are forced to regroup under the questionable leadership of John Moxon (James Van Der Beek), a second-string quarterback with a slightly irreverent approach to the game. "Varsity Blues" explores our obsession with sports and how teenage athletes respond to the extraordinary pressures places on them.

I also found a short summary for James's other movie, "Mystrey Alaska", at the Internet Movie Database.

This comedy is about the residents of a small town who get over-excited when their hockey team gets chosen to host a televised event.

-Well, this week was pretty eventful in the way of Dawson's news. The big stuff is on the Tamara front, where I have found out that Tamara wil return PREGNANT and, as a result of the new open relationship that Mr. and Mrs. Leery will have (in open, I mean REALLY open), Tamara and Mr. Leery will become involved. Now how involed, I'm not yet aware of, but they will be going out. I have also learned that Mrs. Leery will get back with good ole' Anchorman Bob. Dawson, of course, will be happily oblivious for quite some time. The first show of the year is titled "Crossroads". In it, we will meet Jack and Andie, and Joey will tell Dawson that she is not going to France (like we thought she would anyway). Jen will end up throwing herself at Dawson, and Dawson rejects her (he finally found his brain).

-The last bit of important info I have to pass on is to watch James Van Der Beek on Regis and Kathy Lee this Tuesday (check you local listings). I personally don't really like the show (I like Regis, I just don't like the other one), but if James is on, I'll definately be watching.

-Okay, here we go. Andie will be Pacey's love intrest. Joey and Dawson WILL be together for atleast a few episodes (thank God). The new season will start off where the previous one ended. Jack and Andie's last name is McPhee. Andie will be a bit cockie, while Jack is be deeper. Joey and Jack will meet at the the restaurant, where Jack will also work. When Dawson and Joey break up, Dawson will take it pretty hard, meaning he will have to suffer for a while (only fair). Dawson will forget Pacey's birthday and Pacey will begin to feel left out. This will change when Pacey gets a girlfriend.

-James Van Der Beek will be on Regis and Kathie Lee on Tuesday, August 11th.

-Woohoo! I've got some sccops for you guys! Thanks to Allan Silburt who mailed me some scoops, I've got stuff to tell you guys. First off, you know about the sister and brother (Jack and Andie) comming, and you know that Jack and Joey will kiss, but did you know that Andie was going to start working at the Icehouse with Joey? Also, Pacey and Andie will have a car accident, with Pacey making Andie get him a date with a cheerleader to pay him back. I've also heard speculation that Pacey and Andie will go out. Another rumor is that Joey and Pacey will have a romantic involvement (nothing too serious) after she breaks up with Dawson, but she and Dawson will get back together in the end. Abby Morgan (the girl from hell who was in the "Breakfast Club") wiil have a more regular role. Now, I've told you all of the minor scoops that Allan sent me, but this last one is a biggie. And I mean BIG. Guess who will be comming back to Capeside? If you guessed everyone's favorite English teacher, Ms. Tamara Jacobs, then you would be correct. Leann Hunley will return to play her. She will be in Capeside with another profession, and, get this, she will have a relationship with another character. Not Pacey. Which means we can look for some MAJOR friction there. Lastly, the new arctors for Dawson's Creek have been named. Jack will be played by Kerr Smith. Kerr used to be on the soap opra, "As the World Turns". I watch it time to time, and for those of you who watch it, I think Kerr is the guy that played Rider, Nikki's love intrest last summer. Andie will be played by Meredith Monroe. Her picture looks very fermilliar, but I can't remember where I've seen her.

Date of scoop:7/19/1998
-Let me tell you what I found out about D.C. at the Wanda chat at E!Online on Monday. First off, Joey and Dawson will break up after Joey kisses another guy, who is the new guy, Jack. Pacey will get a girlfriend. Jen will get a boyfriend and they will get friendly pretty quickly. Jen will also go on a visit to New York, but she'll be back. Finally, since it's summer in Wilmington, the show will start at the beginning of everybody's sophomore year (again). That way, they don't lose the year.

-Katie Holmes's movie, "Disturbing Behivior"opens on Wednesday.

-Shooting for the new season of "Dawson's Creek" starts next week.
