Samuel "Little Sonny" Brown, Eugene "Bird" Daughtry, Phillip "Phil" Terry and Robert "Big Sonny" Edwards,

collectively known to the world as "The Intruders", amassed an impressive body of recordings for their many fans.


Guided by the genius of Kenneth Gamble and Leon Huff, the music they recorded years ago still captures

the attention of listeners all over the world today. Is it any wonder many people felt the wrong name was chosen because

they never intruded on anyone I know.


My dictionary, "Webster's Tenth New Collegiate" gives as a meaning: "To thrust one-self in without invitation,

permission or welcome". "To force"!


They NEVER INTRUDED on me!

Long live their MUSIC!!!
