Welcome To Terence's New Website

Introduction

Hey Everyone! Welcome to my upgraded website that doesn't take as long to load as the old one and it doesn't look as complicated. No, your comp is not screwed up, my site fades on purpose. So don't worry. When you have a chance, check out the FLASH bios. I suggest that you have FLASH installed. I eased up on background images and stuff like that. Anyway, hope you enjoy my new site. Feel free to throw in your two cents. If you're wondering why did I delete my old site...well...it's a long story.

What's new since the last update??

In the Mind of a Chow

September 9 2004 Here goes another $5000 well spent. 3rd Year university at Ryerson, after 4 months of summer. Summer has been alright thanks to many camping trips and road trips to Montreal and Niagara Falls and a GREAT birthday that I celebrated with my RYERSON friends. :P
It's World Cup of Hockey season again, and unfortunately the last chance to watch some NHL hockey for a while if a strike occurs. For me, it's a double-blow, since I work at the ACC. Without the Leafs, there's really nothing to cheer for when I work. The Raptors have lowered their respectablitiy in our great city just like the Blue Jays, so I can't really look forward to seeing them.
Anyway, I was expecting to see EVERY single Canada game in the world cup, LIVE, this year since I already went to see two games in Montreal with Mark and also of the fact that I work at the ACC. You know, you really don't notice how bad the air is in Toronto until you leave the city for a few days. Ever since I came back, I've been having this cold. Had to miss the Canada-Slovakia Quarter-Final game because of it. Constant coughing and every minute or so....hm...I might have SARS! haha!
It's like 12:33pm and I just finished class 30 minutes ago. Now I have a 5 hour break until my next and last class of the day. Most of my friends from VSAR have class right now, so I can't really call them up for a cup of coffee.
Speaking of which, I'm really getting concerned about VSAR. Almost all of our executives are dropping out of their positions, therefore leaving people like me and Truc to take on double roles. Fortunately enough we were able to recuit like 70 members, but let's be honest. Two-thirds out of the 70 will show up to the welcome bash, and only half of that would stay as members, and half of that would be DEDICATED and CONTRIBUTING members. If it gets any worse, it'll look like I'll take over as President. But it would look bad having a Chinese President in a Vietnamese Association.
April 5 2004 I'm updating my website as often as I have people visiting it. Barely! That's my reason for not making many changes or any changes for that matter. Anyway, 2nd year university @ Ryerson is coming to an end as well as Warren's final year at Bloor. Last chance for me to rub it in his face about the fact that we finish school earlier than him. It's actually 5:02PM here at the Ryerson library waiting for "someone" to call. Getting kind of hungry, I feel for a extra-large bowl of Pho at the moment. Speaking of which, I have been elected to be the Web Delevoper for VSAR. I have a lot of ideas, (that many think I've stolen from), to make a website. You know those flash profiles I make when you hit SHOUTZ and then select the person that has a link too, yeah, I wanna do that for the VSAR site. Anyway, that "someone" that I'm currently waiting for is someone I've admired over the past months. Apparently, almost everyone knows about it. I think it's a good thing to have ppl know, so I won't have a back-stabbing situation like Ken and Thanh Van again....(RING RING)....Anyway, that "someone" just called. Gonna eat Pho!....

1 hour later

Well, I'm back and no, I didn't eat Pho. Apparently, she was taking a break from her study group, so instead we went to the cafeteria to have some tea. She really wanted to use her Dexit tag to purchase the drinks, but she ended up having so much fun playing with it that she held up the line for a few minutes. Her expression when the machine flashed "Approved" was so cute. Well, we just chated and then "Rolled up the Rim to Win" only to lose. At first I though I won, because it didn't say "Please try again", but then I realized that it was "Please play again" in French. Anyway, she is back with her group, and I'm back here writing to you. I hope that she would finish her work early so we can go for Pho.
January 21 2004 - OUT OF SIGHT, OUT OF MIND
When I start to see my memories inter-twine
Both good thoughts and bad thoughts begin to combine
Thinking about those who care, about the one I admire
Are the ones that can make or break your heart and desire
To go on, when they say it's all a waste of time
And the best thing to do is to burn the bridges behind
But I can't, when different views fight in my fragile mind.
I tremble and hate, but it doesn't work, it's not fair
'cuz half the time she don't know, half the time she don't care.
So I try to go on, pretending nothing is wrong
But half the battle is not to cry till the sun breaks at dawn.
I thought she was the one, the one that no one can find.
But who knew that she can hurt me, by being so kind.
And when I think back, I wished at times you couldn't even see,
That with joy, hope and love comes pain and misery.
So to forget her, the only way is for me to go blind
I give up, no more pain, OUT OF SIGHT, OUT OF MIND!
