Historic Bedford Street
During the early fall, our brother, needing a place to stay and free food, came to stay with us in the unofficial but exclusive and private family Bed and Breakfast on the other side of the duplex.
We believe in the bed and breakfast concept because one of us is a professional and personal chef who has supervised and prepared for large banquets and weddings in PA.

Our large kitchen on the other side is considered a mudroom since we use it for everything from a meeting room, to a laundry room as well as the place where we simmer soups.

It is important to note, that while we did have fresh meals on a daily basis, we had no need in late fall or winter to have refridgeration.  The root cellar in the basement kept most things cool except occassionally when we had 15 or more guests for a private party.

We did not have refridgerator because our electric was so old that it could not support many large appliances.
Interesting shell sink for the bath.Views from bath include giant Maple and two apple trees.
New Kitchen includes restaurant size microwave and temperature sensitive antique Kelvinator stove
