| 8 turns primary (the turns are twisted together at the bottom of the secondary at the same level as the bottom turns of the secondary), new primary cap (MMC polipropilene 20 nF @ 2 kV), better grounding, half bridge, 220 vac half rectifyed input, 1 uF caps in the cap divider of the bridge. After 1 min run time the FETs are warm but the primary windings are hot. RESULTS: 9 inches sparks |
