Meet Don and Betty Schiller Don and Betty are very familiar faces at Our Savior Lutheran Church. They are the faces that so often greet our attendees at the Sunday morning services. They are transplants from Milwaukee and are and have been the head ushers along with serving faithfully on the worship and music committee. Many young acolytes look to Don and Betty for knowledge of altar service. Thank you Don and Betty. |
Introducing Marie and El Toedter Marie and El have been members of OSLC since 1967. "Back in those days there were few members so we had many jobs." said Marie when we talked with her. Marie taught Sunday School to three of our children who are now grown and El served on the Pulpit Committee along with being Secretary of the Church Congregational council. If you ever have the pleasure of meeting Marie and El you will know why they are so special to our family. |
Meet our family at Our Savior Lutheran Church |
Hello Mary Vance Meet our Mary. Mary Vance, along with her husband Tom,(who teaches our adult class on Sunday Mornings) raised their two boys, Nathan and Caleb at OSLC while actively participating in the programs offered to the family. The Vances fill many roles througout our church life. Mary is the new Executive Director of the Mountain Hope Good Shepherd Clinic of Sevier County. This has been a project near to the heart of Our Savior Lutheran Church so we were elated to hear our Mary had been announced as Director. We sure enjoy the entire Vance family. |
