12/05/2004: POSIBLES PAISES A DONDE LLEGARA EL HIGH VOLTAGE TOUR

Según el programa "Hoy", el High Voltage Tour de Thalia contará con una segunda fase (como ya Thalia lo había dicho en numerosas ocasiones). Entre los paises de Latinoamerica que posiblemente visite se encuentran Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Argentina, Colombia y Chile, pero aún no hay nada confirmado.
According to the tv show "Hoy", the High Voltage Tour will have a second part (as Thalia has said so many times but the media don't understand). Among the countries from Latin America were the tour could arrive are Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Argentina, Colombia and Chile, but so far nothing has been confirmed.

Según RCN, Thalia no visitará pronto Latinoamerica con su High Voltage Tour debido a diversos compromisos, la cantante ya había comentado que tras finalizar la gira en USA se tomaría un corto tiempo para descansar, cumplir con otras obligaciones y luego seguir con la gira. Se sabe que en los próximos meses Thalia volverá al estudio para grabar su nuevo disco en ingles.
According to RCN, Thalia wont go to Latin America with her High Voltage Tour because of her full schedule, the singer had say that she will take a break when her tour in the USA ends to rest, work in other projects and then go back to the tour. Is a fact that Thalia will return to thestudio in the next months to work in her second english album.

Una gran noche para Thalia, el concierto en el Auditorio Nacional fue todo un éxito y un evento irrepetible. Thalia llenó el Auditorio Nacional de México, alrededor de 10.000 personas se dieron cita para presenciar el segundo concierto de la gira. Muchas personalidades de México estuvieron presentes en el evento. Thalia cantó completamente en vivo e incluso hizo una referencia en forma de burla por los comentarios sobre uso de playback que surgieron en Guadalajara. La gran sorpresa de la noche fue cuando Thalia vio entre el público a dos de sus ex-compañeros de Timbiriche y los invitó a subir al escenario para volver a cantar el tema "No se si es amor". El bailarín convertido en celebridad, Julio Camejo, también acompañó a Thalia solo por esa noche. A huge night for Thalia, the concert in the Auditorio Nacional was a big hit, one in a time event. Thalia's concert in the Auditorio Nacional was sold out, around 10,000 persons were there for the second concert of the tour. A lot of mexican celebrities were there. Thalia sang totally live all her songs and she even made a comment -in a joke tone- about the playback comments from the Guadalajara concert. The big surprise of the night was when Thalia saw in the audience two of her ex-partners from Timbiriche and she made them go up to the stage to sing again "No se si es amor". The dancer and now celebrity, Julio Camejo, was also there dancing with Thalia just for one night. 28/04/2004: ELECTRIZA THALIA AL PUBLICO DEL "HIGH VOLTAGE TOUR"

El primer concierto de Thalia en México ha recibido mayoritariamente comentarios positivos. Thalia logró convocar alrededor de 7.500 asistentes en la Plaza Nuevo Progreso de Guadalajara, según algunos reportes se llenó a tres cuartos de su capacidad. El concierto comenzó con media hora de retraso y duró aproximadamente una hora y media. El escenario era de dos pisos y contaba con varias pantallas gigantes, Thalia se acompañó con 2 coristas, 5 músicos, 8 bailarines, 8 cambios de vestuario y 26 canciones de su repertorio musical. Una de las grandes sorpresas de la noche fue cuando Thalia tocó la guitarra eléctrica durante la canción "Tu y yo". Thalia cantó totalmente en vivo, algunos reporteros trataron de poner en eso en duda pero los asistentes negaron rotundamente el uso de playback e incluso un medio de comunicación difundió fragmentos de video del concierto en donde se comprobó que Thalia cantó completamente en vivo. Lo que si es un hecho, y toda la prensa concuerda con ello, es que fue un espectáculo de primera clase, muy bueno y que dejó un muy buen sabor de boca. Thalia's first concert in Mexico has received mostly positive comments. There were around 7,500 people in the Plaza Nuevo Progreso from Guadalajara, according to some sources it was three quarters of the venue capacity. The concert started half hour late and it was an hour and a half long. The stage had two floors and it had around five big screens, there were 2 back-up singers, 5 musicians, 8 dancers, 8 costume changes and she performed 26 songs from her discography. One of the big surprises of the night was when Thalia played the electric guitar when she was singing "Tu y yo". Thalia performed all her songs totally live, some reporters said they had some doubts about it but all the people at the concert said she didnt use playback, she sang live all her songs and one media site published video fragments from the concert where you can easily see that she was singing live. But it is a fact, and all the media agreed with that, the concert was a first class show, very good and it left all the people very happy about it. Durante la pasada semana Thalía estuvo ocupadísima ensayando para su gira de conciertos Alto Voltaje, pero, como siempre, llena de energía, encontró tiempo para filmar su primer comercial para la campaña de promoción de los chocolates Hershey en Estados Unidos. El comercial promete ser tan delicioso como los mismos chocolates que produce Hershey.
Thalía spent last week super-busy rehearsing for her High Voltage concert tour, but, energetic as always, she found time to shoot her first commercial for the Hershey chocolates promotional campaign in the United States. The commercial promises to be as delicious as the Hershey chocolates themselves.

Thalia ya está en Guadalajara, Mexico. Su vuelo llegó ayer a la 1:00pm, repartió algunos autógrafos y se dirigió al Hotel Hilton en una Cherokee blindada sin un dispositivo masivo de seguridad. Al contrario de lo que se manejaba, Tommy Mottola no la acompañaba. Tan pronto llegó comenzó a ensayar, su staff asciende a 30 personas. Según sus publicisatas, sus shows en Mexico incluirán una sorpresa especial.
Thalia is already in Guadalajara, Mexico. Her airplane arrived yesterday at 1:00pm, she gigned some autographs and went to the Hilton Hotel in an armored Cherokee without a massive device of security. She arrived without Tommy Mottola. As soon as she went there she started the rehearsals, her staff is around 30 people. According to her people, Thalia's shows in Mexico will have a special surprise.

17/04/2004: CAMILA PROTAGONIZARA TELENOVELA GRACIAS A THALIA

Camila, hija de Ernestina y sobrina de Thalia, obtuvo el rol protagónico en la nueva telenovela de Televisa llamada "Inocente de ti" la cual será grabada en Miami. Según Canal Extra!, el productor Salvador Mejia recibió una llamada telefónica de Thalia pidiéndole que le diera una oportunidad a su sobrina y este aceptó debido a la gran amistad que los une. Nada de eso ha sido confirmado pero si se sabe que desde que Thalia anunció que no volvería a las telenovelas, Televisa se ha dado a la tarea de buscar a la "nueva Thalia" y según palabras de la empresa, "quién mejor que su sobrina para ocupar dicho puesto?".
Camila, Ernestina's daughter and Thalia's niece, was selected as the star of the new Televisa's soap opera called "Inocente de ti" to be shoot in Miami. According to Canal Extra!, Salvador MEjia, the producer, received a telephone call by Thalia, she wanted him to give an opportunity to her niece and he said yes because of their friendship. That wasn't confirmed but everybody knows that Televisa has been looking for the "new Thalia" since Thalia said she won't be back to the soap operas, they said with their own words, who will be better than her own niece to fill that place?.

Ahora Thalia incursionará en el mercado de las golosinas, la cantante firmó un contrato millonario para ser la imagen de los chocolates Hershey en el mercado hispano de los Estados Unidos, también tendrá su propia línea de dulces con sabor latino, como chile y dulce de leche, y además será incluida en las campañas anglosajonas de los nuevos productos de la compañía. Esta semana fue el lanzamiento oficial de la revista Thalia la cual puede adquirirse por poco más de $2 dólares en los Estados Unidos. Thalia comentó sentirse muy entusiasmada con esta nueva faceta, primero se lanzarán tres números de prueba y si las ventas son buenas se publicará la revista mensualmente. A parte de entrevistas y moda, la revista contiene concursos en los cuales se regalarán más de $4000 dólares en zapatos. Como parte de la promoción, Thalia realizó una firma de autógrafos.
This week was the release of the official Thalia magazine, you can buy this magazine for $2 (approx) in the United States. Thalia said she is very excited with this project, there will be three test editions and then a monthly publication if the people like the magazine. 17/04/2004: THALIA ENTREGA PREMIO A ESTUDIANTES DE NEW JERSEY

Un par de meses atrás, Thalia comunicó en su sitio oficial que realizaría un concurso en varias escuelas de los Estados Unidos para realizar una campaña anti drogas. El pasado 6 de Abril, Thalia realizó un encuentro con los estudiantes del County Prep High School en Jersey City para entregarles el premio de $1000 dólares y convivir con ellos.
A few months ago, Thalia published in her official website a note about an anti-drugs campaing contest in the schools from the United States. Last April 6th, Thalia greeted students at County Prep High School in Jersey City, they were the winners of the campaing and won a free appearance by Thalia and $1000 grant for creating the best anti-drug video.

Lamento informarles que el sitio -Reencarnate- fue atacado por un fanático de Paulina Rubio el cual borró todo el contenido de audio y video de la página. Me parece que fue una bajeza lo ocurrido en dicho sitio y al parecer Daniel (webmaster del sitio) no volverá a subir contenido multimedia. No me extrañaría que dichos ataques se propaguen a todos los fansites de Thalia.
I feel very bad for this news, the fansite -Reencarnate- was attacked by a Paulina Rubio's fan, that person deleted all the audio and video files from the website. I think that was the lamest thing they could do and apparently Daniel (webmaster from that site) ill not upload more multimedia files to his site. I won't be surprised if they attack more Thalia's fansites..

El cineasta español Pedro Almodovar, ganador de dos premios Oscars, esta considerando a Thalia para protagonizar su próxima en el 2005. De aceptar, Thalia tendría que mudarse a España por dos o tres meses para poder cumplir las grabaciones, se dice que la historia gira en torno a una pareja en problemas.

31/03/2004: NUEVO DVD DE GRANDES EXITOS

Ante el exito alcanzado con el DVD "Thalia Greatest Hits" lanzado por EMI, Fonovisa ha decidido lanzar un DVD con los grades exitos de Thalia cuando esta pernecía a su compañía. Dicha producción será un paquete CD/DVD con material de los primeros tres albums de Thalia como solista, llevará por nombre "Thalia Grandes Exitos" y saldrá a la venta en Mexico el 6 de Abril de este año, no se sabe si será editado en otros paises. Al final de la nota podrás ver la lista de temas y videos.
After the success of the "Thalia Greatest Hits" DVD released by EMI, Fonovisa decided to release a new DVD with the greatest hits of Thalia when she was part of their record label. That production is a CD/DVD package with material from Thalia's first three solo albums, it is called "Thalia Grandes Exitos" and will be in stores on April 6th in Mexico, so far there are no words if it will be release in other countries. En una entrevista realizada en Nueva York, Thalia reveló muchos detalles del "High Voltage Tour". Thalia se esta preparando fisicamente a diario, va al gimnasio, toma clases de canto y coreografías, prepara lo que es el vestuario y las luces, y platica con los musicos. Thalia no tiene miedo ante el reto pues afirma que siempre piensa de forma positiva, adelantó que el show será muy elegante, lleno de colores, muy vibrante y llamativo. Comentó que en el concierto no faltaría su primer exito que fue "Un pacto entre los dos", ni "Piel morena" ni "Amor a la mexicana". 27/03/2004: THALIA Y TIZIANO FERRO PLANEAN GIRA Y DUETO

Thalia y Tiziano Ferro fueron presentados por su disquera cuando ambos coincidieron en el programa "Noche de magia" de Puerto Rico y la quimica entre ellos fue inexplicable. Tiziano se sintió complacido al ver como Thalia escuchó completo su más reciente album así que invitó a la cantante para que hicieran un par de conciertos juntos en su próxima gira por Europa, Thalia le aseguró que lo acompañaría si su agenda se lo permitía ya que actualmente se encuentra dandole los ultimos toques al "High Voltage Tour". Sin embargo, como muestra de agradecimiento por la invitación, Thalia le propuso a Tiziano grabar un dueto para incluirlo en las próximas producciones de ambos cantantes. Cabe recalcar que aunque Tiziano no conocía en persona a Thalia, este ya era admirador de ella e incluso confesó tener el album de "Amor a la mexicana".
Thalia and Tiziano Ferro were introduced by their record company when both of them were at the "Noche de magia" show in Puerto Rico and the chemestry between them was amazing. Tiziano was happy because Thalia hear all the tracks from his latest album so he invited her to join him in his tour of concerts in Europe, Thalia said she could do it only if she has time in her itinerary because she is finishing the details of her "High Voltage Tour". But Thalia, as a thankful gesture, made him a proposal to record a duet and include it in their respective future albums. En una entrevista telefonica desde Nueva York, Thalia comentó que admira a la cantante y actriz Bibi Gaytan por abandonar su prometedora carrera en el medio para dedicarse a ser mamá a tiempo completo. En la gira "Alto Voltaje" Thalia realizará al menos 15 cambios de vestuario y utilizará un equipo de sonido similar al que ocupa Michael Jackson en sus espectaculos. "El show será muy dinámico, visual y combinaré la intimidad de mis letras con lo colorido del escenario y vestuario, ademas nos enfocaremos mucho en el sonido, porque sé que sin esto y sin unos buenos músicos el concierto puede no gustar, y yo busco ofrecer lo mejor, lo importante es como suenan las canciones y el artista, como las luces pueden crear atmósferas y te ves mejor, será un show muy vibrante, sexy y atrevido", dijo Thalia. El escenario está equipado con luces robóticas, sistema de sonido digital, habrá siete músicos, seis bailarines y dos coristas. Los boletos al concierto de Monterrey ya están a la venta y los precios oscilan entre los $200 y $2.000 (pesos).
In the "High Voltage" tour Thalia will do at least 15 costume changes and she will use a sound equipment similar to the one that Michael Jackson uses in his shows. "The show will be very dynamic, visual and i will combine the intimacy of my lyrics with the colours of the stage and costumes, also we will focus on the sound, because i know that without it and without good musicias the people may not like the concert, and i want to give the best, the important thing is how the songs and the singer sounds, how the lights can create atmospheres and you look good, it will be a vibrant and sexy show", Thalia said. The stage will have robotic lights, digital sound system, seven musicians, six dancers and two backup singers. The tickets for the concert in Monterrey are on sale and the prices goes from $200 and $2,000 (pesos).

Thalia dió su opinión sobre varios sucesos actuales en el mundo, sobre los ataques en España comentó sentirse muy dolida por las muertes, en especial porque ella vivió mucho tiempo en dicho país, sobre la ruptura de J-Lo y Ben dijo ser amiga de Lopez así que no dirá nada sobre la vida privada de sus amigos, sobre el incidente de Janet Jackson dijo que era irónico que hablasen de ella como si fuese culpable de todo, dijo no estar segura si fue un accidente pero que no le parecía justo que la criticaran, y sobre la política tampoco quizo hablar pero dijo que su familia es multipartidista.
Thalia gave her opinion about various things that happened in the world, about the tragedy in Spain she said she feels really bad about the deads, specially because she lived in that country for several years, about the J-Lo and Ben brake up she said she is a good friend of Lopez so she wont say anything about her friend's private life, about the Janet Jackson incident she said it was ironic because everybody talk about her as a guilty person, she said she doesn't know if it was an accident but she feels it's not fair how everybody criticized her, and about politics she didn't wanted to talk but she said her family is multipartisan.
