Sits at the head of an empty classroom, lost deep in thought. Her eyes are unfocused,
and the bouncy ball ball in her hand seems to glow lightly, then vanish, and reappear...

smiles as he leaves the greenhouse, it had been a long time sinde he'd visited the
plants... He pauses as he passes the door to Amy's classroom when he feels her presence
in the room. He smiles and peeks inside just in time to notice that the ball in her
hands disappeared and reappear...

She seems totally oblivious to anything, even the ball in her hand...

He pauses, then seems to make up his mind and enter the room "Amy?"

She snaps into reality and the ball goes back to normal. A red bouncy ball, that's
all. She looks over at him and smiles brightly, "Hey! Long time no pounce."
Grins at the familiar term. "How're you?"

He smiles and takes a seat to the front of the room and sits before her desk "So...
playing ball?" he's careful, incase she didn't realize what she ws doing. He
didn't want to tell her that he could sense something, and then have her hand him
over to the authorities... Not that he suspected that she would, but he didn't want
to take any chances.
He considers carefully "Oh, fine... disappeared there for a wile though."
he watches her face and continues "I didn't know if it was safe to come back
for a while..." he stops there.

She blinks and looks down at the rubber ball, "Not really." She shrugs
and nods when he says "dissapeared for a while" and blinks at the safe
part, "Why wouldn't it be safe?"

He shrugs "Oh, no reason..." and doesn't go on, deciding to just tell her
what he saw "You sure?" For a brief moment, he sends an image of what he
saw when he looked in earlier, but only a flash. He wasn't a psychic, but he could
send quick thoughts or feelings on occasion. He sits still, waiting to see her reaction.

Amy blinks at the image and shakes her head, not understanding, except that it reminds
her of when the cat-girl dissapeared. She blinks again, "Sure about what?"

He sighs. This was going to be difficult. He starts off gently "So, have you
ever been to the diner over there?" he nods in the direction of the Diner...

She hesitantly nods and brushes some loose hairs out of her face, "A few times..."

He blinks at the answer "So, you know why you're drawn there yet?" a faint
smile crosses his face and he wonders just how long it's gonna take her to get what
he's hinting at.

She cocks both brows up at him, obviously seeing what he's hinting at, "Kind
of... I mean... I know why, but I don't..." Shakes her head, "I'm confusing
you, aren't I?"

He shakes his head, grinning from ear to ear and sends the image again, of her and
the disappearing ball... He smiles "Only if you did that with the ball..."

"Doesn't it?" he cocks his head, curious.

"No... I mean... how could I..." she looks at the ball and squishes it
between her fingers, "It's still here... and... and... what kind of mutation
is it to make a rubber ball dissappear?"

He almost laughs "You'd be surprised..." and smiles "Besides, you
never know what it might be... you could be able to make anything disappear... or
maybe you're sending it to a different place..." he considers the posibilities
and keeps a close eye on her reaction.

She sighs and drags her hands down the side of her face, stretching out the skin
on her face. They slide down and plop onto the table. "But how did I do it?"

He shrugs "I have no idea." he thinks a moment "What were you thinking
about a minute ago? Before I came in?"

"When I was at the diner... one of the mutants there kinda glowed and just...
vanished." She shakes her head and rubs her cheeks.

"A cat girl... she glowed... and... vanished..." Her eyes glaze over a
little as she's enveloped in the memory, "Calico, I think her name was..."

His eyes widen and he focuses on a thin thread of energy, sending it out to Vision's
house, looking for her... "When?" he's slightly distracted with his search,
but he needed to know.
