Ernie Johnson, who played for the Milwaukee Braves and was a long-time Braves announcer, was recently inducted into the Braves Hall of Fame in 2001.
Pete Van Wieren is in his 25th season as a play-by-play announcer for the Atlanta Braves on TBS Superstation, tying him for seniority with Skip Caray.
An eight-time winner of the Georgia Sportscaster of the Year Award from the National Sportswriters and Sportscasters Association, Van Wieren served as play-by-play announcer for the Atlanta Hawks on TBS from 1991-94. He has also worked NBA games for TNT and TBS since 1986.
In 1985-86, he served as play-by-play announcer for TBS Sports' coverage of Big Ten Conference college football games. He has covered the Atlanta Flames of the National Hockey League, the Hawks and Atlanta Falcons NFL preseason football since joining the network in 1975. He has also served as a sports reporter for CNN.

Joe Simpson joined Turner Sports for the 1992 Atlanta Braves baseball season after working as an analyst on the Seattle Mariners' telecasts for five years. His playing career spanned 11 seasons, beginning in 1973 when he was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the third round. He joined the Mariners in 1979 before being traded to the Kansas City Royals in 1983. An outfielder and first baseman throughout his professional career, he retired from the California Angels organization following the 1984 season.
Born in Purcell, Oklahoma, Simpson was an All-American outfielder and first baseman at the University of Oklahoma.
The 2001 season was Skip Caray's 26th in calling games for the Atlanta Braves on TBS Superstation. He joined TBS in 1972 as the voice of the Atlanta Hawks and was added to the Braves' telecasts in 1976.
The former play-by-play voice for TNT's NFL coverage in 1990-91, TBS' coverage of the 1990 Goodwill Games, and Hawks games on TBS from 1990-92, Caray was nominated for a 1994 Cable ACE Award in the Sports Play-by-Play category.
He came to broadcasting naturally as the son of Harry Caray, the Chicago Cubs Hall of Fame announcer. A high school all-city linebacker in St. Louis, Caray began his broadcasting career with KMOX Radio after a career-ending knee injury. His son, Chip, calls NBA games for the Orlando Magic and baseball games for Fox Sports.
Born in St. Louis, Caray graduated from the University of Missouri with honors in journalism. He has been recognized with six Georgia Sportscaster of the Year awards and a Georgia Area Emmy.

• Erin serves as a full-time exclusive studio host for the TBS Sports Control, providing periodic updates and live cut-ins from around the league.
• Andrews worked as a rink side reporter for the 2001-02 season of all televised NHL Tampa Bay Lightning games on the Sunshine Network. In addition, she hosted the network's Lightning Weekly show as well as anchored reports and features for Sunshine Network Live! And Nextel Florida Sports News for the 2001-02 season.
• During the 2000-01 season, Erin covered the Lightning for WFLA Channel 8.
• In addition to professional hockey, Andrews covered the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Orlando Magic for WFTV, ABC's Orlando affiliate.
• Erin has also worked as a freelance sports reporter for Fox Regional Sports Network Florida and CNN/Sports Illustrated.
• A 2000 graduate of the University of Florida, Andrews served as a sports reporter on WRUF-AM 850 from 1996-2000 and as a sports director/anchor for WUFT in Gainesville from 1999-2000.
After a 23-year playing career that included 324 wins and finishing fifth on the all-time strikeout list, Don Sutton joined Turner Sports as an analyst for Atlanta Braves telecasts during the 1989 season.
One of the most durable pitchers of the modern era, the Clio, Alabama, native appeared in 774 games and completed 178. While playing with the Los Angeles Dodgers, he set personal bests for wins (21), innings pitched (293), games (41), ERA (2.21, which led the National League in 1980), starts (40), strikeouts (217) and complete games (18). He was named National League Rookie of the Year by The Sporting News in 1966 after compiling a 12-12 record with a 2.99 ERA and 209 strikeouts for the Dodgers.
His network broadcasting experience includes pre- and post-game analysis for NBC's 1987 League Championship series coverage. He has also served as a sportscaster for KNBC in Los Angeles, as well as a course reporter on TBS' professional golf coverage of the Hawaiian Open, PGA Championship and PGA Grand Slam of Golf, and TNT's coverage of the Sarazen World Open Championship.
