What Are They Up To Now ?
Established in 1982, The Buffers is a group of British transport enthusiasts based in London, Ontario.  Plans are afoot for the group to build a new model railway layout which will replace the current ‘Torrens Vale' that has been in use by the club for some years.  Under the chair of Andrew Hopkins, a committee has been struck to direct planning and construction of the new layout.

Features will include greatly improved construction methods, allowing for ease of assembly / disassembly, transportation and storage, as well as use of the layout at club meetings and scheduled public displays.  Additional features will include improved wiring, a smaller layout area and a more sophisticated and practical track plan.

Members have approved an expenditure of up to $500.00 from club funds towards the cost of the project.  As well, your attention is drawn to the list of four corporate sponsors below, that have generously agreed to provide support in the form of cash / kind for this exciting project:
Our layout is based on Bitton. Buffers member Andrew Hopkins has created a model of Bitton station buliding. Click here for details.
