Rod Fox has big dreams of being a professional musician and singing all over the world, if only he could pay for it.
Having no money, he stays in one of the spare rooms (I.E. the basement…) and desperately tries to avoid the drunken loosers that seem to over-populate the nightclub at night.
Of course, when 'Open Mic. Fridays' comes around, he forgets all about them being drunken pricks and picks up his guitar and sings his heart out until he's dragged off the stage by the next act.
Though his accommodations, and often jobs, are totally crap-tastic, there is one perk: He’s closer to a certain person. Aww…perhaps love is in the air!
