Whats gonna happend on season 4?

When the series returns for season four, high school seems like a distant memory to the young graduates, who have been thrust into adulthood after the life-changing events of graduation night. Who heads to college to try to put the past behind them? Who stays in town because they can’t let the past go? Will the person responsible for the tragedy go free? Or will someone decide that the way to heal is through revenge?

It’s a battle for ryan’s (Ben McKenzie) soul as the Cohens struggle to keep him focused on the future, fighting the forces that threaten to pull him back into his old life. SANDY (Peter Gallagher) returns to the Public Defender’s office, and he and kirsten(Kelly Rowan) find themselves reaching out to another troubled teen, but this one is not a stranger. It’s Kaitlin Cooper(Willa Holland), the number-one troublemaker at The Harbor School, and too much to handle for her mother Julie (Melinda Clarke), who’s off making some trouble of her own. The person most excited about leaving high school finds himself back there – as a teacher. And new cast member Taylor Townsend (Autumn Reeser) finds herself with some unlikely new roommates – and family members. As much as the arrival of Ryan has changed the lives of this community, so too has the departure of Marissa. The season hits the ground running with just the right mix of heart, humor, action and romance as our characters embrace their futures together. It’s a new day on THE O.C. …

The last days after the season finale of “The O.C.” were very official, everyone was talking about the spoiler, which Mischa Barton told to the media and after Thursday’s episode, every news site of the world released this statement: “Mischa Barton’s ‘O.C.’ Character Killed”. But what’s behind this little headline? It’s nothing sayin’ about, that Marissa was the favourite person of many fans, that the lovestory of Ryan and her touched everyone deep in our hearts and that we all - since the first minutes of “Premiere” - wished, that their relationship has got a future.. But now we all know the hard truth. “The O.C.” will never be the same again and the end of “The Graduates” leaves us alone with emptiness in our heart and tears in our eyes. Goodbye Coop, we’ll miss you.

Is Mischa Leaving 'The OC'?

It`s reported that Mischa Barton is 'flirting' with leaving 'The O.C.' and ditching Marissa Cooper, the troubled heroine of Fox TV`s teen drama.
Barton, 20, is said to be worried about the Thursday night show`s spiraling ratings as well as being typecast as an out-of-control teenager, Life & Style magazine reports.
Set insiders say Barton calls in sick a lot and is habitually tardy for work, the New York Post reported Wednesday.
Tucker`s other acting experience was as the young lioness, Nala, in the Los Angeles production of Disney`s 'The Lion King.'
'She`s definitely flirting with leaving the show,' one source told Life & Style. 'But the real problem now is that she isn`t taking work seriously.'
Barton has been with the show since its 2003 premiere.
A spokeswoman for the series` producer, Warner Bros., said: 'We don`t comment on rumor or speculation.'
'The O.C.' averaged about 10 million viewers in its first season but the number has dropped to about 5.4 million this season.
