| Mime The brother of Alberich. Although he is afraid of his brutal brother do not judge him to swift as a poor character. Mime is the best blacksmith in Nibelheim |
| TITANS |
| Fafner The oldest of all Titans.Because of his long live he loses his interest in the world around him more and more. He and is brother Fasolt are the rulers of all Titans and the fathers of the giants |
| Fasolt The titans where always oppressed by the gods but Fasolt was the first who's mind was set to get freedom for the Titans. Although the time had not yet been come to confront the gods He and the other Titans had gained much strenght over the past ages. |

| The 3 Daughters of the Rhine are ancient and very beautifull creatures. They are just as old as the gods themselves . The Daughters of the Rhine are the keepers of the Rhinegold. They tell Alberich about its magic powers underestimating his love for gold and power instead of beauty. |
| SPIRITS |
| Loge The servant of Wotan or as Alberich calls him : the slave of Wotan. because Wotan has forbidden Loge to change ever agian into his elemental form without permission. Loge dreams of the day he can change into his fireform and scorge the earth again. But loge is a trickster and a clever mind.. |
| GODS |
| Wotan The lord of the gods. Wotan walkes a lot among the mortals in different shapes. One well known shape is as a giant wolf. He has felt the growing powers of the Titans and is afraid that they will revolt one day. |
| Fricka Wotans wife, the godess of marriage.. She much disapproves Wotans adventures in the world of the mortals but in contrast to her husband she is much more just and follows the codes of the gods. |
| Froh The god of the rainbow. |
| Donner The mighty god of thunder . |
| Freia The godess of beauty and love. She also nurses the gardens of the golden apples which give the gods their eternal strenght |

| Roskar The king of the sinister Gibichungen race. He is the son of the dark Gibich, who was the founder of the race |
| Grimhilde The daughter of Roskar and princess of the Gibichungen. Although she does not look to be very important in this act , she will play an important role in the furure of Alberich and the gods. |

| Erda, the mother of the earth. Wotan respects her very much and seduced her with love a couple of times. The results of these love games are the Norns and the Valkyries. |
