BASIS OF THE MINISTRY

  • Following after Jesus' footsteps
  • Going after the lost
  • Reaching for the broken

  • Psalm 23

    The LORD is my shepherd;
    I shall not want.
    He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
    He leads me beside the still waters.
    He restores my soul;
    He leads me in the paths of righteousness
    For His name’s sake.
    Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
    I will fear no evil;
    For You are with me;
    Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
    You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
    You anoint my head with oil;
    My cup runs over.
    Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
    All the days of my life;
    And I will dwell in the house of the LORD
    Forever.

    The Promise (Salvation)

    In Christ we have an eternal promise of salvation. We find hope knowing that before long we shall live with Him above the clouds when every one will see His glorious face, as we sing praises and adore Him in heaven.
    Such pact of hope is what the world needs—a promise worth hoping for and waiting on, “the Redemption of the sons of men”.
    We reach out for the lost sheep. With compassion, we embrace them and bring them to the reality of God’s grace and forgiveness. We encourage them to come as they are and be broken before the Lord. We challenge ourselves to walk worthy of our calling, shunning evil and staying on the course and purpose for our lives.

    John 10:1-18

    "I tell you the truth, the man who does not enter the sheep pen by the gate, but climbs in by some other way, is a thief and a robber. The man who enters by the gate is the shepherd of his sheep. The watchman opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice. But they will never follow a stranger; in fact, they will run away from him because they do not recognize a stranger's voice." Jesus used this figure of speech, but they did not understand what he was telling them.

    Therefore Jesus said again, "I tell you the truth, I am the gate for the sheep. All who ever came before me were thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. He will come in and go out, and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

    "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. The hired hand is not the shepherd who owns the sheep. So when he sees the wolf coming, he abandons the sheep and runs away. Then the wolf attacks the flock and scatters it. The man runs away because he is a hired hand and cares nothing for the sheep.

    "I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me— just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep. I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd. The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life—only to take it up again. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father."

    1 Peter 2:25

    For you were like sheep going astray, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.

    The Calling (Worship)

    We are invited to come and worship at the feet of our Lord, laying every weight and burden down, and bringing more than a song. Being living sacrifices for the Lord desires only worship from a broken heart and a contrite spirit. When we are broken, God can use us to do amazing things that we would never even think to achieve.

    Psalm 51:17

    The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.

    Our mission is to create a world in which worship is a lifestyle, and we want to live to give God our all. The Lord is our King. He commands our worship and service, and as a generation that loves the Lord, we spring up with worship of our lives. With brokenness and surrender, we wait upon the King, praising Him with all of our talents, since we believe we are all partakers in the Kingdom of our Lord. Let the Worship reign! May our voices be heard in all the earth, so the world may know that the Lord of heaven is with us in this generation.

    The Commandment (To be set apart)

    We have all been called to set our lives apart for the service of Christ. We must be that example the world needs, offering our lives. From the inside out, we must strive to live a life that is a living sacrifice worthy to God.

    1 Timothy 2:20-22

    In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some are for noble purposes and some for ignoble. If a man cleanses himself from the latter; he will be an instrument for noble purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work. Flee the evil desires of youth, and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

    We strive to present our lives as worthy vessels to the Almighty; being an example, in our relationships and our daily walk, work, and studies, that through us Christ’s love and holiness may be known, for He is Holy.
    Being contrite at heart and pursuing after Gods heart,
    Youth’s revolution for this generation

    Isaiah 56:6-7

    And foreigners who bind themselves to the LORD
    to serve him,
    to love the name of the LORD,
    and to worship him,
    all who keep the Sabbath without desecrating it
    and who hold fast to my covenant-
    these I will bring to my holy mountain
    and give them joy in my house of prayer.
    Their burnt offerings and sacrifices
    will be accepted on my altar;
    for my house will be called
    a house of prayer for all nations.
