This has got to be one of the biggest hypocracies that noone admits to.
It seems that so many want to be different and unlike anyone else that they have the exact same response.
It*s amazing how I can be at work all day and see the same kinds of people tip like crap and yet you talk to anyone in the same groupings and they always claim to tip 15% or more.
Is it only that people who tip like crap don*t seem to own computers? Is it that every single person I know in that same grouping is different? And yet, time after time you*ll see the same types of people tip like crap and I can*t help but wonder if there is a server in another city commenting over one of my online buddies tipping like crap when they claim otherwise.

Shallow people make me laugh too. Who here is truly not shallow? Come on, show of hands. Riiiiight, liars.. You make a list of the attributes you find attractive besides looks and then put that in the body and face of someone *ugly* and they*ll be great FRIENDS!... you know its true! Everyone has that *friend* that would be more if they were better looking. I have, on several occasions, had a friend makejust such a list. Funny thing is I had her make such a list about me the year before. The lists were nearly identical. However we were friends and she had gone through a series of bad boyfriends during that time.
Of course, there are various levels of such, but the fact remains that attractiveness is a factor. And yet if you ask nearly anyone theyll say that looks don*t matter.. BULL! Yet almost everyone is self delusional enough to think they*re really above such things.... Then why am I single?

Why do so many people fish for compliments? There are some beautiful girls that constantly rant on and on about how bad they look. Sweetie get over yourself. You know you are pretty to most people. You know you look in the mirror and are pretty. A pretty girl doesnt* see herself as ugly, she just needs to hear people tell her once in a while. Self depreciation is a sure way to get acknowledgement. And deep down you know what you*re doing. But you*ll deny it till the cows come home and then meekly smile at the next suitor who apparently is blind and yet wants you anyway. Meanwhile the really ugly girls are trying to live up to standards of beauty that you stumbled over by genetic accident and are watching men flock to you to console your lowered self esteem.

Why do so many guys try their damnedest to create a image of themselves that is totally against their character in order to be something they*re not? Why are so many guys trying to be *nice* guys when they re putting on an act even to themselves? I know so many *nice* guys that really aren*t. It isn*t that they*re faking it to get someone in particular. They really are trying like hell to seem like one completely. They act overtly thoughtful and courteous while all the time forcing it. Thoughtfulness is not something you have to force or remind yourself to be... you just are. They put on this face and you often realize that they have a past that goes against this image. Sometimes they*ll meekly back down face to face and then run off to gain sympathy from someone else. Othertimes they*ll do mean or hurtful things to a person*s mind then claim they didn*t realize they were doing it. Trust me, they know. And they*re hoping you*ll want to forgive them their transgression. Of course, they*ll do it again soon but that*s another point. They want to maintain the image so bad that they*ll even make up stories of their past to prove it.

Point is all a girl has to do is claim she feels *uncomfortable* around someone and i*ve seen someone lose their job. Oh it was all covered up nice and neat but your basic company and manager is terrified of the H word. I had a girl at work that someone thumped on the shoulder. A flick. Nothing. She went to the office and complained and now that guy is being watched. Of course the next day she was pawing all over a different guy and that was, apparently , ok. And she has hugged several of us and that, apparently, is ok. There has been no investigation and she has not told this person she was offended. All women have to say is *he touched me* no matter the truth of it and the guy will be watched, warned, and possibly fired. Yet
girls can do/say/act in whatever manner they want and noone complains. When I was a manager I saw a girl on two separate occasions try to get a coworker fired because he told a dirty joke. On both occasions it was a joke that she*d laughed at the day before. Why is it the offense can change from day to day like that? Why is harrassment only harrassment when you*re in a bad mood, they*re ugly, or it*s someone you don*t get along with? I told that girl that she can*t change her definition of harrassment from day to day as it suits her whims...however I may be the only one that*s done that. I*ve seen people transferred, fired, and even harrassed by management when a girl simply points them out. By law they have to approach the man first and tell them directly that such and such statement or action was offensive... THEN if they continue to do it they can have action against them.... however people seem to just point someone out and they*re guilty by gender. Harrassment is the only self-defined crime in America. And apparently only male.

Why is is commonly accepted to insult conservatives, America, christianity, and white people and yet it is against the rules to insult the other side? Why is it *reverse racism* when a black man insults a white man, but racism the other way? Why can black people say White Trash, honky, etc etc and yet if a white guy says any anti-black thing it it is wrong? Why is it black politicians can say *white devil* and *blue eyed devil* in public speaches and be cheered by their constituents and yet one white polictician say something even hinting at racism and they*re racist? Since when it is ok to lump all Americans who don*t believe in giving up our soverienty to the UN and letting terrorists and homeless swarm our borders into the *brain dead, redneck* group? Why is it if we dont* completely agree with Liberal adgendas we*re holding back progress? Why is it only conservatives are expected to have an open mind and consider all sides of an argument but liberals can just get louder and dismiss your views out of hand because of the source? Why is it if we intervene in some part of the world we*re insulted and attacked but if we don*t we*re insulted and attacked anyway? Why is it any action we take to help out others in natural tragedy is never enough? Why is it when such tragedies hit here noone sends massive funds and support to us? Why is it America is supposed to give till it hurts and yet be backstabbed at every junction by every group as if we did nothing?
Why is it so easy to insult a christan*s beliefs but if we say something against Jews or Muslims it*s discrimination?

Why is it we*ve become so politically correct that what used to be tell tale signs of a mentally disturbed person isn*t until they actually commit a crime? How many school shootings were by people with classic signs of mental trouble or disturbing interests? Why can*t we politely tell someone they need a breath mint or to take a bath anymore? Why is it so many put up with asses who treat other people like crap and yet when someone deigns to defend himself HE is labled a trouble maker? We*ve got to the point where everyone is scared to bring anything negative to someone*s attention. We*re trying to be so nice that we end up looking like idiots when things blow up in our faces no matter how much we try to avoid them. I*ve seen people online, at work, even at family functions act like total buttnuggets and everyone politely tries to steer around them and avoid looking them in the eye. However if you DARE stand up to them, put them in their places, or even tell them they are wrong you get glares from everyone. Shhhh, don*t start trouble! Bull. I say the trouble started with pussbucket here started ripping everyone*s heads off for everything and acting like hot snot on a silver platter when he*s really cold boogers on a paper plate. And everyone is scared of offending HIM? I*ve actually been asked to leave areas where someone was shouting at everyone and being a bully and I told him to shut the hell up. I*ve got phone calls from people who were sent home from work because they dared to stand up to a loudmouth supervisor and when they reported it, none of their ten friends who were there would back up their story.

Why is it that so many people are so tough online where they*re untouchable, but are scared to back their mouths up in person? I*ve personally offered to visit a person who did nothing but insult everyone that posted in a forum. I said he could bring as many friends as he thinks he*d need. When I said it, the moderator wanted to silence me. Why? In my day a big mouth got their teeth shoved down their throat if they could not back up their boasting and insulting. We respected each other because not doing so had consequences. Now all these little punks who claim to be able to beat anyone, anytime, anywhere, safely log off in anonymity. Why are they so scared to put up or shut up? And why am I the bad guy if I suggest they do just that?

Why can*t parents take responsibility for the actions of their children anymore? I have seen them get together and take away paddling at school. I have seen them reduce dention times. I have seen them sue teachers who cursed back at a student who was cursing them. I have seen them slowly reduce punishments and increase lawsuits and penalties for teachers and schools that punish students. And then they want to blame the schools when their kids join gangs, get into drugs, or get pregnant. If I did that crap in school I would have gotten my ass beat by my mom AND dad. Not to mention my uncles too. Now they even want to regulate the parents own homes! Now they want to say if you spank your kid in a public place you can be fined. If you hit your child at home you can lose your children. So what is supposed to be used for discipline? Oh i know there are several non violent ways of course. I use them myself with my neice and nephew. I*ve never had to hit them, or even raise my hand to them, once. But the threat is there because noone is behind them with a lawsuit saying I can*t. Their mother isn*t there telling them Uncle Chris can*t spank them so they know it IS possible. They*re great kids and hardly any trouble. But can you imagine how bad they*d be if they thought they could not get punished? That*s like high school kids today. The parents want to blame schools, coaches, music, TV, God, anything but themselves. Hell, many parents make police out to be bad guys. And when the real crimes are commited they want to blame the police for lack of action or for going too far to apprehend their angelic children. Yeah, lucifer was an angel once too... and God spanked HIS ass but good.

People seem to be hypocritical by nature. Whether in our personal lives or in our views of the world we just seem to be to one extent or another. If you stepped back how hypocritical are we? I found myself defending my sister*s husband, who is black, and yet condemning black patronage at our restaurant who consistently tip two dollars no matter what the tab is. Not just to me, but everyone. That was hypocrisy. I found myself prejudging people for their way of dress when I know from first hand that people can surprise you. Noticing such things has really opened my eyes and given me a few areas in which I can improve. Think on yourself. How many of these examples fit you?
