| READING The reading center is filled with books of all shapes and sizes. The books are often set out according to the theme that the children are exploring in class. The center also has beanbags, pillows, and low lighting to provide a more homey feel. Also, many of our books are offered on tape, so the children can follow along with the story being dictated to them. Your child will begin to recognize letters and words, as well as basics about books, such as reading from left to right, and the parts of the book, like the cover and spine. Your child will also be able to start learning correct sentence structure and syntax.
