I picked up a shell
which rolled in on a wave
Shining wet appreciation
at having been created
only to return to sand
Do you share the same excuse...
smiling into waters to hard to recognize
In death transformation;
life is a strange gift
I reflect the blue sky
he reflects in my eye
Shining all around him
How long does love last?
Only till a tree dies, or lonely
as a rock cries through eternity
I can make a seed grow, stop the world
create a child.
How long does love last?
Waking Peaceful
How strangely words alter emotion
Fire and energy; embers and peace
The green birds needed to be killed
So I could dance?
Here I don't need to cry
I'll wear this when I'm pregnant
No one could keep my heart
I burned it all away
She stands below the moon
sharing her starlit tides
Ruled by men's Gods.

Warrior Woman
The end of the day, lights fading away
All shadows blue, colours vibrate in the last rays
I am separated, on a strand a fiber
connects me
I dream of dancing, the Ramedan, primeval forests
The acts of a warrior, I dream
I am a woman, burdened with myself
as a woman
Layers of knowledge, falling
teach me about intelligence
and wisdom seems far away.
