1. The Game World

The game takes place in a post-apocolyptic Earth. At the beginning of the game, the splinter colony planet Galaga is invading Earth. Some technology survived the great catastrophy, but Earth is still at a major disadvantage as far as whether it will win. Magic, or, more specifically, Psionic skills have been discovered and are in use by some Earthlings. Thus, there is both technology and psionics, which act as a kind of magic.
