TRANSPORT & RESCUE INFO: |
We gladly work with rescuers of all breeds & transporters and also do out of state adoptions and work with out of state rescues. We require all adopted animals be spayed or neutered before they leave the shelter. If you are a rescue and like to use your own vet for the spay/neuter we won't require you to pay the fee, but all donations are appreciated. We depend on donations to run most of the shelter. We try to do the first leg of the trip from here. It dosen't always work out because of scheduling conflicts, but we do try to do the first part. We can possible set up transport to meet you where ever you are able to drive to to meet the transport. Crates, collars, and leads are needed to transport small dogs and puppies, and crates for cats. They can be purchased for a small fee. For a breakdown of our adoption fee see the adoption info page here. Our first requirement for all potential adopters is to complete our adoption application and submit for approval. The approval process usually takes 24-48 hours. We check all references, and reserve the right to make home visits. We are committed to placing our companion animals in permanent homes, based on the best match for the pet and its guardian. We need references of rescues and rescue groups. |
