Realizing the importance of educating the next generation of conservationists, we are proud to offer an online activity guide to help students dive deeper into the topics covered in our Marine Fisheries Series - Empty Oceans, Empty Nets and Farming the Seas. Peer reviewed by our Advisory Board and correlated to national science and social studies education standards, each of the six activities represents the very best of available materials. The guide can be linked to either of our hour long specials, as well as a special low cost 30-minute version combining both films and specially edited for educators.

The Marine Fisheries Series Activity Guide is designed for students in the middle to high school range (12 to 18 years old), though activities may be adapted to suit other groups at your discretion. These activities work well in classrooms as well as non-traditional educational settings such as nature or science centers, aquariums and zoos.

Please also visit our project pages for additional in-depth information such as full interview transcripts from the films, downloadable seafood guides, and summaries of the issues addressed in each film.
