Herbal Remedies & Programs

Acne

1.  Wash face with an herbal face rinse made of burdock or chickweed.
2.  Steam face with herbal (facial) steam bath made of red clover, lavender & strawberry leaves.
     Bring a teapot of water to a boil.  Remove from heat.  Add herbal blend.  Pour tea into 
     large bowl.  Hold head over bowl allowing steam to flow into face.  If steam is too hot, hold
     head up at times.  Be careful, steam can be really hot.
3.  Drink burdock tea or an herbal tea blend made of alfalfa, burdock, dandelion, red clover,
     strawberry leaf & yellow dock for 5-7 days.  Rest from tea for the next 2-3 days.  Take tea(s)
     for 5 weeks to see results.  Continue program for 3 months or more.
4.  Drink 4-8 glasses of water daily.
5.  Eat an adequate amount of raw fruits & vegetables (refer to fruit & Veg. healing properties).
6.  Exercise (Yoga, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Kung Fu, Karate, walk, run/jog, etc.)
7.  Avoid dairy products.
8.  Be creative.
9.  Stay positive (gotu kola tea helps mental state).

Allergies

1.  Alfalfa, Cayenne (1 dash only), Golden Seal, & Pau D'Acro.
2.  Alfalfa, Cayenne, Golden Seal, Pau D'Acro, & Echinacea.

Anemia

1.  Drink a tea blend of alfalfa, dandelion & yellow dock.
2.  Eating an adequate amount of green leafy veggies is always beneficial.
3.  Exercise (yoga, tai chi, qi gong, kung fu, karate, walk, run/jog, etc.)
4.  Get plenty of rest; at least 7-8 hours when possible.

Arthritis

1.  Castor Oil – rub area with oil thoroughly.  Apply warm moist face towel folded on needed
     body area.  Hold towel there until towel gets cold.  Moisten towel with hot water(as hot as
     you can stand), rinse, fold & re-apply towel to needed body area.
2.  From time to time get a massage or use an automatic massage pillow &/or heating blanket.
3.  Do light lifting only.  Get help from friends, siblings, children, spouse, etc.  Take care of 
     your body.
