One of the most important aspects of Chivalry is the Championship of a Lady. When you find a person whom you feel is worthy to be championed by you this is an example oath that you should use to bind your sword to her honor. The Oath of the Champion My dearest lady at this juncture I find myself bereft of a Lady to champion. It would be a great honor for my entire Household and myself if I could fight with your favor, and be your champion in this upcoming Affair of Arms. I will do my best to prove the strength of my arms so that I may show to those nobles assembled your great honor, beauty, and gentle grace. If she accepts your offer of Championship she is then expected to bestow on you a favor. A favor is a piece of cloth or jewelry, which is personal to the lady. You wear the favor in your belt, as a sign that you are fighting for her and that you will do your best to uphold her honor on the tourney field. Welcome to the sacred knighting hall of Emperium where King's throughout the ages have bestowed upon worthy individuals the station of knight of the realm. This honor is reserved for the noble and deserving members who follow the codes of chivalry. We are proud to introduce our Nobles and Knights... They serve Emperium well We are pilgrims from a mythical realm we call Emperium. Emperium was established in 2000 in a chat environment of battle net, with a small contingent of only 5 members. With the release of Diablo II, several members of our Emperium journeyed into the realms of Battle net.It is with these original 5 members that Valor of Emperium has been initiated. Our goal is to unite our fellow Empireans, to Diablo II and to promote unity in all the realms of battle net. The guild is established for an indefinite amount of time with the following objectives: a) To reunite and acclimate new Empireans to Diablo in an effort to make their transition enjoyable and create an atmosphere of friendship. b) To establish and maintain the trades and disciplines in Battle net a cooperative manner and to share our acquired knowledge with our tradesmen throughout Diablo. c) To encourage and foster a blending of Class and Race into our guild that will benefit the whole Valor of Emperium. Diversity of thought and skill shall be the cornerstone of our membership. d) To promote the development and or improvement of technologies and magic through united efforts and research between the races and classes of Diablo. e) To seek out and solicit Non-Emperium citizens to join us. Although we are anxious to encourage our friends from Emperium to join us in Diablo II, it is our primary goal to assimilate existing Citizens of battle net into the valor of Emperium. Inclusion into our guild shall be based, not on levels or tactical knowledge, but on Spirit, Personality, and the willingness to join a family of friends. f) To create a positive playing experience within our guild by maintaining an emphasis on respect, fair play and honesty to all of battle net citizenry. |

| As of this day – 28th day of July, by proclamation of the king of Emperial Kingdom,the Royal order of the Emperium Knights has been formed. This order of knights shall be the elite few who demonstrate the epitome of knightly traits, skills and spirit. Knights in and of themselves are examples to others of honor, nobility and chivalry. May the Emperium Knights be an example to knights and all people everywhere of the exemplarity traits that knights live by. |

| The Emperial Order and Decree |
| Rules: a) The guild is broken down into the following Founder, King and Queen, Prince and Princess, Lord, Lady, Duke, Dutchess, Baron, Baroness, Elite Knights, Champion Knights, Knights, General members and squires. The roles of each will be set out in that section of Roles b) Before inviting a squire, the Knight or sponsor should interact with the invitee for at least a month with the approval of at least one royal, BEFORE tagging to squire status. The sponsor will consist of a Royal position vouching for the squire and a Knight. c) Membership in the guild shall be made in the progression from squire to member status. A new invitee shall be placed in an squire Stage for a two-week period. Following his/her 2week orientation, he/she will be voted upon in a guild-wide meeting. Every present member can get a vote, one vote per person, done in secret ballet (whisper to meeting holder). If there are any grievances with the squire, these are brought forward at this time by any and all that wish to speak for and against the squire. We hold our members at the highest accountability for their actions and therefore at the squire stage all guild members have a right to convey their views before the vote is set. Upon Acceptance into the guild, his/her rights as a Pledge Member of Emperium shall be instituted. Knights in good standing can only invite an squire.That Knight under the guidance of a Royal Majesty shall sponsor the squire. It is the responsibility of the sponsors and or Knights to introduce their squire to all in guild.It is the responsibility of the squire to get to know his/her new guild-mates. No Squire may tag without the approval of their Knight and Royal Majesties. |
