News 09.28.04 Hi again...this past month has been so crazy...we were very busy! We played at Station 3:16 in Bakersfield-thanks to our faithful fans who came out to see us! The show at Lyrics w/Stavesacre was a lot of fun...we look forward to playing with them again on the 8th of October...check out the concert page for more details on that show...We have a few shows lined up for this month...Our show on the 2nd at the Avenue has been postponed...the Avenue is homeless...we'll keep you posted on the new venue...We are excited about the rest of the year-we should be getting into the studio towards the end of the year...finially!! News 09.09.04 Hey there! Hope everyone had a great summer...we sure did!! Just a couple of annoucements to make...First, just wanted to let those of who didnt make it to the Schooners show-you missed one heck of a show! We won 1st place and got the oppurtunity to compete with some great people! ...Congrats to Prod, Goodfella & Cimmerian-it was great working with you! We have some new shows up on the concerts page-on the 19th we're playing with Stavesacre @ Lyrics in San Berdoo...be sure to mark your calanders for that show and get your tickets early-it will SELL OUT!! Just wanted to announce that we played @ Schooners last night-and we made it to the finals!! We play on August 29th-more details will be posted soon! Keep checking back on the concert page...We want to say congrats to Prod for advancing with us...also, good luck to the other bands in the Finals...you all are awesome! Thanks to everyone who came out and supported us last night-we don't know what we would do without your support! It's time for an update...these past few weeks have been a little slow...we are taking it easy this month...getting back into the studio and spending some more time practicing our new material...We do have a few shows coming up though-we play @ Schooners again on the 8th...check out the concert page for more details. We want to see you there-we are playing w/some awesome bands and it's sure to be a great show! Also, we are playing at the AV Fair and the Bakersfield Ice Center in September... Last night we played at the Battle of the Bands in Cal. City and took first place...Congrats to Raised on Guynmer and Moments Like These...both bands were awesome! Just wanted to announce that we took 1st place in the Battle of the Bands @ Schooners last night...Awesome show! Congrats to Prod for advancing onto the Semi-Finals with us. It's update time again...for those of you who are on our email list, check out your inboxes for the latest e-newsletter. If you're not on our list and you would like to be (and who wouldn't want to be?) leave a message in the guestbook or email us @ the_passing@hotmail.com. July is looking to be a pretty good month for us...we played @ Sacred Grounds in San Pedro on the 2nd-awesome show! We had the oppurtunity to play w/Dizmas, Nevada Sky, Moments like These and Pet the Dog. Great bands-you should check 'em out! We're playing at Schooners again on the 18th-tickets are only $5.00 and this is going to be an awesome show! Doors open @ 6:00-come check out Prod and Of Ashes! We're also playing at the Bakersfield Ice Center on the 16th-admission is $8.00-grab a friend, strap on your skates, and come hear some truly good music! Just to let you all know-we will be taking a short break in August to work on some new material and take some more time in the studio-we'll be back full-force in September though, so keep checking out the site for more updates.
