For a lot of us, there are some special beasties in our life . . . our pets and stuffed animals. Your faithful dog . . . your constantly-purring cat . . . your sweet-singing bird . . . all of them can bring more joy into your life. There to listen to you when nobody else will, and even if they can't talk back . . . they love you just the same. Soooo, this page is for pics of our favourite stuffed animals and pets. We'll post the name of the beastie and who is its loving owner.

MOLLY is Bits' dog . . . but her full name is really "Jollymuffs Goodtimes Molly"! She is a six year old purebred English Labrador Retriever. She is soft, warm and loving, and according to Bits is the best child, requiring no car keys or college tuition :-) Subbies who visit Bits like to curl up and snuggle with Molly after a lickin'.

HONDO was only seven months old when this pic was taken, but I'm all grown up now. I was raised by my Mom . . . kitty[CG] for Canine Companions for Independence. I am a full blooded black Labrador Retriever and I am a card carrying brat dog. I went back to Canine Companions at 18 months of age as the best trained pup they had, but when it came to learning new commands, I decided it was not in my program. So, I was kicked from the Canine Companions program and sent back to kitty (Gee what an awful thing to happen to me . . . hehehe) I now reside happily with kitty, and can't wait for her to get home from work each day so she can pay attention to me me ME! I still help to raise money for Canine Companions, and I still demonstrate to people what I can do . . . and sometimes what I shouldn't do (hehe). Welp, time for this puppy to go cause trouble!

BOO-BOO is a wonderful and loving "little girl" to christine{T}. She is 6 years old and she loves to be petted and brushed. Not THAT kind of brushed! (that is saved for me . . .) She will sit on by your feet and she squints her lil eyes to tell you she loves you. She's a big fan of the other feline in christine's life - that Tigger guy :)

VELCRO is the mousie's puddytat . . . so named cuz she wants to be wherever I am alllll the time. As you can see, she is grey and white with a black nose. I got her from the SPCA in December 2000, when she was 6 months old. She is THE perfect puddytat for me, a pure sweetie with just the right amount of brat in her (as you can see by her tongue stuck out!). She loves to play "hide and seek" and is a very vocal puddytat . . . always trying to say something to me. LOVE her, and she makes me smile when I look down at her curled up in her basket beside me. (I'm also pretty sure she has a foot fetish, but hey who am I to frown on kink hmm?)

KENZIE (or by her fancy full name - Makenzie Raven Puddintang) is gracie's doggie. My mama was a Jack Russell Terrier and my daddy was a Smooth Fox Terrier, which makes me a mixed up puppy :) I am 7 years old and I am such a happy doggie. Playing is my favorite pastime and I never pass up an opportunity. I love to go swimming but I hate to take baths. I hide behind the couch when I even hear the word. I like to chase birds out of the yard and I love to play with anything that will play back. I am the Alpha female in any given situation and Rottweilers bow down to me. :))) Although I have the body of a dog, I have the soul of a human. One look in my eyes and you'll understand.

CINNAMON & JIMI (Cinny's the tortoise shell in front). kitty[CG] & CapnGlenn[k] were out doing errands one day just before Christmas Day 2000, when kitty noticed a pet store nearby, and wandered in. By the time CapnGlenn had finished his business elsewhere, and met his kitty inside the pet store, she was absolutely in love with these two little 10-week old kittens, who were brother & sister (as well as the offspring of the pet store's resident cat). Kitty implored her capnglenn (not reversal of roles) in no gentle terms that these kittens were coming home with us. Cinnamon's name was kitty's idea, reflecting her coloring, and Jimi was Glenn's based upon "Jimmy", his childhood tabby of similar markings, with the spelling of his name being a nod to Jimi Hendrix :) cinny & jimi now live the relaxed life of running 'n playing n chewing-up anything they can find in their desert home in Nevada, and are Glenn's constant companions, wherever he is around the house, usually trying to find space together on his lap, or on the desk sharing space with the keyboard, while chasing the cursor around the monitor ;) Heck, they even have their own website! http://hometown.aol.com/musicshuttle/kitties.html

ROCK is gracie's Rottweiler that stays at her sister's house cuz gracie's Dad doesn't like him. He's an excellent guard dog, and loves to go swimming. Usually he roams half an acre of wooded area watching for intruders carefully (he was only on the chain that day because sis had company) He's incredibly loving and sweet, likes to play catch, and is fun to roll around in the grass with. Interesting info about him . . . his best friend is a salvaged fighting rooster!
