11/11- Happy Veteran's Day everybody! So yes, this site has been severely neglected and I apologize to anyone who actually still comes here. We've been very busy with balancing school with other crazy outside things and getting this CD done but it's completely mastered, the artwork is starting to come together and I assume in 2-3 weeks we will have the CDs in our hands. Also, I am hoping sometime soon once I have some time, to completely re-do the layout and structure of this site since well... it is a bit aesthetically lacking. So yes homies, things are going well, and I hope all those out there in Syzlakia are enjoying this fine fine fall. OH YEAH! Our CD release show is December 16th at the Hibernians! The Syzlaks are a 4 piece punk/ska/alternative/rock band from Watertown, MA. Our sound has been developing into a unique mix of genres such as happy ska with saxaphone, to slow alternative ballads, to harmonica-tinged acoustic songs, to just straight forward fast punk rock. We consist of Greg Beach (Vocals/Guitar/Harmonica), Pat McCusker (Guitar/Vocals), Matt Garber (Bass/Vocals/Saxaphone), and George Merdkharnian (drums) and hope to continue playing together for many years to come.
