Scott Carr's Tropical Retreat

Traveler's Tales, Flotsam and Jetsam

[Quiet life]

Hello, and welcome to my own quiet backwater of the Sea of Cyberspace. Here you will find my observations about places I have been, informal suggestions for worthwhile travel destinations, and examples of my photography. In addition, I have included information on certain other topics, as well as links to interesting sites. Please have a look around.

(Curious about that tropical hut above? Here's the explanation.)

This site is currently under construction and has been since I first created it, and I think that it will always remain in a state of flux. As a result, some of the pages listed below include photos and text, while others only have the pictures. I'll complete the text portions as soon as I can, but in the meantime, I will be adding bits of text to them in a fairly haphazard fashion. Even so, there should be something worth seeing on every page, including the ones that are not complete.

If you would like to read my disclaimer, please follow the link provided. Otherwise, continue to the latest updates (just below) or jump ahead to the table of contents.

  Latest Updates:

Not much new this time; I've just been doing a bit of HTML scripting to clean up the nasty case of link rot this site was suffering from. Hopefully, things are a little more up-to-date. As always, I would greatly appreciate it if readers could send e-mail alerting me to any typos, non-functional links, broken images, or other problems. For that matter, send e-mail about anything! Thanks!
