Kitchen

sinks do not have backsplashes. Get a glass-shelving unit (8” x 24”) and
attach it vertically to your counter. Less than $30 at Home Depot. |

Pet Peeves |
Things about condo living that bugs you. |

LM is peeved about: People who wear so much perfume or aftershave that you have to hold your breath in the elevator, or the elevator still stinks like perfume even when they’ve left. Scents are your personal enjoyment, not everyone in an 8-foot radius of you. |

FL has this general comment for users of the
underground parking: People driving their vehicles in and out of the underground parking should slow down and respect the 10 km/h speed limit. It is often noted that cars drive way too fast and sooner or later accidents are about to happen. This 10 km/h rule counts for everyone using the underground parking, including the council members. Give each other time and space while parking. Life cannot depend on a 3 seconds win to be home sooner. It just doesn't make sense. Think about others and their safety and SLOW DOWN!! (Editor’s comment: People should also stay on the right side of the roadway.) |

Rydell is peeved about the garbage in the back lane: I'm not happy with the garbage bins in the back alley as they frequently spill over and people who go through the garbage make a mess. Some solutions are... suggest locks on the bins for building users so that non-residents do not go into them; suggest the owners of those buildings purchase recycle bins so that bottle collectors do not have to search through the garbage to get what they want; have the city ask the building owners ensure that the alley is free of their
garbage and fine them for the mess if it's not kept clean. |

Hot List |
List of items stolen from the building. |

The items were stolen from the Venus and belonged to the Strata. Ultimately, the cost of replacing these items was paid through your strata fees and rent. Also, it creates restrictions for all of us. If you have any information about the theft of these items, please contact the Concierge or us. The Concierge’s cordless phone. The curtains from the Ballroom. The leather chair and lamp from the Business Centre. The air-freshener from the Garbage Room. |
