| The couple pictured here are my great grandparents, John Fike and Goldia Harkins on their wedding day. Goldia is the daughter of Mary Gluck and Albert HARKINS and John is the son of Jacob Fike and Catherine Stimeling. He was born in Juniata County and moved to Lewistown. She was born in Altoona and also moved to Lewistown. Their daughter Silver was born in 1903, John Russell was born March 10, 1906, Catheryn Elizabeth was born Aug 05, 1907, Robert D. was born in 1907, Bertha was born in 1912 and Merlin (always written as Merill on the back of old photos) was born in 1915. | I have gotten as far back as John Fike who was married to Leah Dreese. One of their children was Jacob Fike who married Catherine Stimeling. My great grandfather is one of their sons, John Fike. I have also seen Fike Spelled as "Feick" on John's land deed. |
