right.  so, i guess it must have been my junior or senior year in high school when a friend of mine (same one who got me into pulp, for those who care) made me a tape of 'if you're feeling sinister.'  i thought it was really, really good (of course!) but for some reason didn't listen to them.  i know i liked their music but was far to lazy to actually go out and buy a cd. 
well, years later i suddenly decide it's a good time to start caring about belle & sebastian.  so i buy all their albums.  and then the 'legal man' single.  and then the 'jonathan david' single.  and then i see them in concert.  and then i buy the 'lazy line painter jane' box.
i did not spent all that money because i felt jeepster (b&s' record label) needed it.  nor did i blow my cash trying to be the indie-est kid on the block.  i waved good-bye to those dollar bills because b&s are the cutest thing ever!!!*

i will eventually have loads and loads of uber cute b&s thingies on this page (including a concert review!!), but this is a start.


*the phrase 'cutest thing ever' will be used quite a bit in regards to many other bands, and should not be taken literally.  most of the time.
