cute bands!! (because it's my website and i can)

nb: the image of a cute little hedgehog has nothing to do with any band mentioned here (that i know of).  i am using it because like the following bands, hedgehogs are really really cute!!

right now i'm going through this obscene cute music phase.  that means i'm mostly listening to bands so wimpy that even *i* could beat them up.  'why?' you ask. maybe it's because i went to a belle and sebastian concert not long ago and i'm still doing that wonderful post-concert obsession thing.  maybe it's because cute, wimpy bands are a nice change of pace from more, shall we say, assertive music.  or maybe it's just because i'm a big dork.
