so, lindsey was up for a visit last weekend, and whilst hanging around downtown, we decided to go into a music store (go figure). and, to our suprise and delight, there was a brmc pster hanging in the window! [the poster was advertising a gig i couldnt go to : ( -linz] so lindsey went in and asked if she could have the poster when it was taken down, [and actually, when i went back inside, the guy at the counter said, 'whats going on?' . . . he had heard me practically yelling about how completely exciting it was to see a brmc poster and how badly i needed it. -linz] and she gave them my name and number because she was leaving and i would have to be the one to pick it up. (arent i a good friend?) and then, a couple of days later, i received a message on my voice mail from ozone (the music store). the message went something like this: 'uh, yeah, this message is for laura, about the b. . . r . . . m . . . c. poster. thats the black . . . rebel . . . motor . . . cycle . . . club. its at ozone come pick it up bye.' (this last bit being said very quickly for some reason.) i was quite amused, and now the poster is hanging on my wall. yes, its lindseys poster, but im keeping it safe for a month or so. see? i told you i was a good friend! that was lauras brmc story. not quite as exciting as lindseys, but its okay. i have plenty of time to make her jealous when i meet ewan mcgregor and he marries me. the end. |

and so, laura and i were talking about the phone call, and we decided that whoever that silly boy was, he'll be quite sorry when the brmc gets more well known and word gets out to all the devoted fans, that he mocked the brmc's name in the damp, early spring of 2001. en mass, we will rise up and destoy him!!!
or maybe that wont happen. maybe he'll forget all about the incident in question, and continue his life with no repercussions whatsoever. wouldnt that be disappointing?? |
