Had you asked me a year ago...
Updated: 1 april 2006
...where I would be living, I would have never guessed.  For the time being I live in the United Kingdom.  Specifically in a town called Reading, just outside London.

So how the hell did I end up here?  I have no idea...I'd pretty much blame the fact that I graduated, needed to get a job, and had to move to find somewhere to teach.
Where I live...
This is the building where I USED to live.  The apartment is on the UK labeled 'first floor' which to everyone else is the 2nd floor.  Honestly who says 'Ground Floor' anymore?

Click on the photo to see more of my OLD tiny little apartment, and other places i've lived while across the drink.
"I've been to London...
I've sailed a ship around the world.
I've counted angels...
I've seen a tangerine girl.

And though it's leading me on...
And though I know that its wrong.
and though i'm living my dream...
i still can't seem to move on."

London ~ Splender

I suppose one could think of the airplane as my ship, and the tangerine girl's pretty much all the girls here with the spray on tans that make them look more like orange smurfs than attractive.

But click on the crazy Buckingham Guard to see more pictures of my numerous trips into London.  (Which by the way, it takes less than 20 minutes to get there)
I live in a town called Reading.  For a medium sized city-ish, its got some interesting places.

Click on one of the many odd signs to see what I mean.
That's me at Logan Airport, in good ol' Boston Massachusetts, circa August 2005.  Im about to embark on only my 3rd roundtrip flight ever, to pretty much farther than I've ever been before, to live in a country I've never been too, to teach in a culture I know nothing about.

What the hell am I thinking?!?!?!

Ok, so here you have to pay to have a TV,  in addition to the cost of a TV AND Cable!

So needless to say, to save money I don't have one.
So in between marking, lesson planning, reading, fixing the website, going out in Reading, going to London, and going to mainland Europe, I edit photos using Adobe Photoshop.

Click on this picture of me that I modified to see other examples of how I pass my time.
I also had the great fortune to go over to France during my Half-Term Holiday.

Here are some of the pictures and stories from my trip there with Stacy.

Over the February Break at Half Term, I went to Ireland with Jude...16 days of going out every night...

...but the Guiness was sooooooo Good!
Recently took a Weekend Trip to Salisbury to see Stonehenge, and ended up seeing part of the town itself.

There's the Ruins of the Old Castle and Old Cathedral, and the very impressive 'newer' Salisbury Cathedral built in the 15th Century.
